Derartige Tasten müssen in der Regel in solchen Fällen vorgesehen werden, bei denen, wie beispielsweise die EP-B 1 914 13 zeigt, an der Frontseite relativ flacher Geräte die zur Verfügung stehende Fläche durch diverse andere Betätigungselemente, durch Anzeigemittel und durch schriftliche oder bildliche Hinweise für den Benutzer erheblich eingeschränkt ist. Andererseits stellt die längliche Tastenform eine optimale Anpassung an die Abmessungen eines flachen Gerätes, beispielsweise eines im Armaturenbrett eines Kraftfahrzeuges eingebauten Gerätes, dar. Mit stegförmigen Tasten läßt sich die verfügbare Fläche besser nutzen und gleichzeitig eine Doppelbetätigung von benachbarten Tasten vermeiden. Ein weiterer Effekt ergibt sich dadurch, daß bei stegförmigen Tasten der Betätigungsspielraum erweitert ist und somit die Tastensuche weniger gezielt erfolgen kann. Infolge der plattenförmigen Ausbildung des Tastenkörpers ergibt sich ein starres Bauteil, so daß die Taste bei ihrer Montage gut handhabbar und auch maschinell montierbar ist. Durch die exakte Lagerung des Tastenschachtes in der betreffenden Lageröffnung, und zwar einer schlitzförmigen Lageröffnung bei zusätzlich relativ großer Tiefe der Lagerung, ist eine Schieflage der Grifffläche der Taste vermieden und eine eindeutige Endstellung in der Ruhelage gewährleistet. Dadurch ergibt sich ferner eine zuverlässige Kontaktgabe und bei der Anordnung mehrerer Tasten eine exakte Ausrichtung der einzelnen Tasten zueinander. Dabei wird eine zweistellige, also lange Lagerung nicht mit zwei Lagerzapfen, sondern mit Freisparungen des Tastenkörpers erzielt und somit Toleranzadditionen vermieden. Die Öffnung für den in die Gehäusewand eintauchenden Tastensteg kann unter diesen Umständen deutlich größer sein als die Außenkonturen des Tastensteges, so daß der Tastensteg z. B. auch lackiert sein könnte. Hervorzuheben ist auch der geringe Bauteile- und formtechnische Aufwand, was den Tastenkörper und dessen Lagerung anbelangt, sowie, da ein Wackeln und Kippen der Taste vermieden ist, ein sichtbarer und spürbarer Betätigungskomfort.As a result of the plate-shaped design of the key body, a rigid component results, so that the key is easy to handle and can also be assembled mechanically when it is installed. Von den ebenfalls als Stegtasten ausgebildeten Tasten 6, 7, 8 und 9 eines Tastenfeldes 10 dienen die Tasten 6 und 7 dem Aufschalten von Lenkzeiten bzw. Um eine auf die Länge des Tastensteges 12 bezogene, möglichst lange Lagerung der Taste 18 zu erzielen, ist die Lagerlänge des Tastenschaftes 13 gegenüber der Länge des Tastensteges 12 lediglich um das für das Anbringen der Druckfedern 16 und 17 erforderliche Maß verringert. In den dadurch gegebenen, relativ großen, parallelen Flächen des Tastenschaftes 13 - die in Fig. 2 sichtbare ist mit 21 bezeichnet - sind Vertiefungen angebracht, die eine sozusagen zweistellige Lagerung der Taste 18 bewirken und relativ enge Toleranzen und somit eine exakte Führung zwischen dem Tastenschaft 13 und einer schlitzförmigen Öffnung 23 gestatten. Die Öffnung 23 ist in einem an der frontseitigen Wand 24 des Gehäuses 25 des Fahrtschreibers 1 angeformten, nach innen weisenden Lageransatz 26 ausgebildet. Unterlagscheiben 29 und 30 sichern die Druckfedern 16 und 17 gegen Einklemmen in den jeweiligen, nicht der Führung der Taste 18 dienenden, nicht näher bezeichneten Spielraum zwischen den Zapfen 14 und 15 und den Durchgangsbohrungen 27 und 28. Bei der mit der Taste 4 dargestellten Variante sind den Druckfedern 16 und 17 Sackbohrungen 31 und 32 zugeordnet. Demzufolge sind die Führungszapfen 33, 34, um den erforderlichen Tastenhub zu gewährleisten, kürzer ausgebildet und in geeigneter Weise kantengerundet, um eine ungestörte Bewegung der Druckfedern 16 und 17 zu ermöglichen.
