Abstract

The invention relates to a toilet seat having an elongate housing (13) which can be fixed to the rear region of a toilet bowl, having an adjacent arrangement, provided in the housing, of a supply reel (28) for a tubular film, in particular made of plastic, a drive unit (36) and a winding reel (32), which can be connected to said drive unit, for the tubular film, having front outlet and inlet slots, constructed on the housing (13), for the tubular film, having a U-shaped lavatory seat (12) which ends outside the housing (13) in front of the slots and can be pivoted up relative to the housing (13) by means of a joint (16) located in front of the inlet slot and connected to the housing (13), and having a knife (40) arranged in front of the winding reel (32) for laterally cutting open the tubular film which is guided along and above the lavatory seat (12). For optimum utilisation of the housing, uncreased, space-saving winding of the used tubular film is achieved according to the invention in that the axis of rotation of the winding reel (32) runs perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the seat end (18) attached in front of the inlet slot, in that there is arranged in the plane of the attached seat end (18) between the knife (40) and the winding reel (32) in the housing (13) an elongate - in particular slightly decelerated, roller-type - film deflection member (44) with a deflection running parallel to the axis of rotation of the winding reel (32), which film deflection member deflects the tubular film from the plane of the attached seat end (18) towards the winding reel (32), and in that a film flattener (42) is arranged in the plane of the attached seat end (18) between the knife (40) and the film deflection member (44), which film flattener pulls the tubular film during its longitudinal movement increasingly from the knife (40) towards the opposite side. The mutually flush axes of rotation of the supply reel (28) and the winding reel (32) preferably run in a space-saving manner in the longitudinal direction of the housing. All these measures allow an expedient enlargement of the seat depth of the toilet seat. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a toilet seat according to the preamble of claim 1.

Das wiederum verkleinert in sehr nachteiliger Weise die Sitztiefe.DE-A-2835257 discloses such a type according to the preamble with one with the housing swiveling toilet glasses. This is made of plastic existing film tube used. There is a very limited problem Use reserve or frequent maintenance, mainly because because when winding up the laterally slit film tube, among other things due to the unavoidable film transfers of the roll diameter the take-up roll becomes significantly larger than before with the supply roll. Accordingly the take-up reel can be removed more often than it is considering the supply reel would be required per se. This is annoying and involves considerable costs, especially also cut the hose and fix it again on the take-up side got to. To partially avoid this disadvantage, a much larger housing would have to be used be used. This toilet seat already has one anyway bad housing utilization because of the axes of rotation of the supply and take-up rolls run at an angle to each other. That in turn made it very disadvantageous Way the seat depth.

The paper allows due to its thickness and rigidity, only a relatively small amount of use the roles and has among other things because of its tearability, especially in Moist condition, further disadvantages in practical handling.

The present invention is therefore based on the object of a toilet seat of the type mentioned in the preamble with simple measures so that the whole with a comparatively small housing size and thus a large seat depth Film supply of the supply roll can be wound onto the take-up roll and that therefore in between related maintenance measures of the type described can be omitted.

To solve the task, a toilet seat stands out in the preamble of claim 1 type according to the invention by the in the characterizing this Claim listed features. These measures represent in particular Connection with each other an optimal space-saving winding of the used film tube safe and thereby enable the housing to be downsized or an increase in the seat depth limited by the housing. By the Foil flat layers are used in conjunction with the foil deflector in the plane the toilet seat and the relative position of the winding roll avoided. In addition, the one pulling the film to the opposite side favors Flat lay the cutting of the film tube. Here is the term Foil flat layer to understand that through this the previously uneven, like curled or overlapped, tubular film is laid flat. The one when winding up the The hose diameter of the supply roll corresponds to the end diameter of the take-up roll practically the initial diameter of the supply roll. Alignment of the axes of rotation leads to optimal use of the interior of the housing and thereby to reduce the size of the housing or increase the seat depth same hose stock.

The embodiment of claim 2 leads to a further improvement in the use of space, because the film deflector does not enlarge the housing.

According to the preferred developments of claims 3 to 5, a targeted, deflecting the film tube gently and tightening for winding the plane of the glasses to the take-up roll.

The training according to claim 6 enables in a very compact manner an extremely effective cutting of the stretched film and then a completely wrinkle-free Lay the film cut open on the side.

The flatness of the film can be optimized by the features of claims 7 to 9, because the film material corresponding to the normal glasses thickness is taken into account by pulling to the side. This is also due to the characteristics favored by claim 10 because the end width of the glasses with decreasing Thickness increases and no wrinkles can occur.

Claim 11 also promotes freedom from wrinkles due to the small longitudinal distance. The position of the knife in the housing reduces the risk of accidents.

The practical embodiments of claims 12 and 13 facilitate renewal of the film stock, because it guides the film tube from above due to its swiveling easily and quickly, if necessary automatically, can be removed from the insertion path for the tubular film.

While claim 14 a constant flawless management and thus wrinkle-free guaranteed the film, the training of claim 15 on the moving Center film in addition. But it has been shown that fundamentally a simple cylindrical role as a foil deflecting member is quite sufficient.

The practical measures of claims 16 and 17 can be advantageous for operation be. While the elasticity of the film flat layer some adjustment and enables equalization of the spreading forces acting on the film, optimized the height adjustment of the knife the cutting process - in particular can thereby also ensure a fold-forming twisting of the film tube be avoided. Such twisting leads to an increase in the resistance to movement and can occur when a certain angle of rotation is exceeded Block hose transport.

The support of the free end of the glasses according to claims 18 to 21 ensures Adequate positional support with sufficient play for swiveling up the toilet glasses. This will result in an accidental or deliberately damaging Bend the free end of the glasses and pull the film tube away from the side largely avoided. The features of claim 22 or 36 lead to one similar result.

The preferred developments of claims 23 and 24 allow a simple Raising the case to the desired extent and effectively cleaning the area below. Compared to swiveling housings a significant hygienic advantage. In addition, the eccentric, rotatable design an easy adaptation to different installation conditions.

According to the embodiment of claim 25, the remaining one can in a very simple manner Foil stock can be determined. In addition, the film deflecting member also precisely define the size of the film feed.

The feature of claim 26 gives the user the feeling of the glasses end defined mediated so that there is no inclination to the sitting position too far to be moved behind and against the housing.

The measure of claim 27 prevents in a very simple way by negative pressure induced suction and inhibiting further movement of the film tube on the underside of the glasses.

According to claim 28 there is a significant improvement in the hygienic Conditions due to the disinfectant measures in the area of the winding roll.

The preferred end design of the tubular film according to claims 29 up to 32 allows simple, quick and reliable manipulation of the free End of hose when replacing the film supply. By simply pulling on the extension piece the film tube is moved forward and spread apart. Can too with appropriate training when unwinding from the supply roll an automatic Opening the free end of the film tube is done, which is pulling it up on the toilet seat considerably simplified and accelerated.

Through the measures of claims 33 to 35, the free hose end can be very can be easily and extremely quickly attached to the winding tube, for example by simply inserting the tongue-shaped free end of the extension piece.

A toilet seat 10 has an approximately U-shaped toilet seat 12, which at one End is connected via a hinged joint 16 to a glasses holder 18. The latter reaches into the interior of a housing 13 through a front entry slot 15 one and is connected to it there. At the other free end of the glasses 20 the toilet seat 12 is held by an eyeglass support 22 in the area of a front Exit slot 14 protrudes from the housing 13 and the free end of glasses 20 is supported at the bottom, on the side and sometimes also on the top. The toilet glasses 12 can be pivoted upwards about the folding joint 16. The free end of glasses 20 has a sufficient game for this (instead it can also be played with a not shown Hinge or other means provided such pivotability allow or favor).

A lateral actuating element 26 enables a further moving start Mechanism in such a way that a protective enclosing the toilet seat 12 Plastic film tube 46 is moved about a length of glasses, so that in There is always a hygienically perfect, protective tube section. The film tube 46 is thereby from a supply roll 28 (from film tube) on a storage sleeve 29 which is rotatably mounted in the housing 13 about an axis of rotation 30 unwound, pulled through the outlet slot 14 from the housing 13, along the Toilet glasses 12 guided by this, pulled through the entry slot into the housing 13 and on a take-up roll 32 (made of film tube) located in the housing 13 wound on a rotatably drivable winding sleeve 33. This is about one Drive shaft 34 connected to a geared motor 36 by a power supply 38, like batteries.

The glasses holder 18 carries in the housing 13 on its inner side a knife 40 which slit the film tube 46 laterally as it continues to move. On its opposite on the outer side, the holder 18 carries a spreading foil flat layer 42, which the film tube 46 progressively from the Knife 40 pulls away to the side. As a result, the film tube is always organized kept flat, i.e. wrinkle-free, and also cut more easily.

In the direction of movement behind the holder 18 with the knife 40 and the flat foil layer 42 is followed by a film deflecting member 44, which in the present case is rotatably mounted, slightly braked roll is formed, the length of which is greater than the width of the laid flat Foil tube 46 is. This roller deflects the wrinkle-free film tube the level of the toilet seat 12 for the purpose of space-saving tight winding on the Winding roller 32 to this up.

The housing 13 has a hinged lid 48 which can be swiveled through lateral lock 49 is releasably fixed to the housing 13. Located on the hinged lid 1 there is a digital supply display 24, which is located on the supply roll 28 remaining hose supply as the number of possible with this supply Indicates seat use.

For this purpose, electronics 39 (FIG. 4) are provided, which are connected to the roller-shaped Foil deflecting member 44 is coupled and its revolutions (hence the respective transport length of the film tube 46) counts. There may be a backward pay from a preset value for the introduced film supply. The electronics 39 can also be used to maintain the required degree of movement of the film tube 46 per seat use.

The housing 13 is for underside cleaning purposes by means of two undersides Housing fastenings 50 can be raised to a limited extent by a toilet bowl 52. To this For this purpose, each housing attachment 50 has one resting on the toilet bowl 52 Platen 54 on the top one and with play through a housing shoulder 58 into the interior of the housing 13 projecting guide pin 56 wears. At the free end of the same is a releasable split pin, which limits the movement stroke of the same by striking the housing 13. On the underside, the support plate 54 carries one down through the toilet bowl 52 projecting and arranged eccentrically to the guide pin 56 Threaded bolt 57 with an end fastening nut 60. By turning of the threaded bolt 57 when assembling the mutual distance dimension the guide pin 56 to the installation conditions of the respective toilet bowl 52 be adjusted. This structure makes it extremely quick and easy Lift the housing for cleaning purposes and disassemble and assemble by simply loosening the safety pin.

Cross walls 62 inside the housing 13 serve, among other things, for rotating Storage of the various roles and to divide the interior of the housing. A middle housing section for the electrical and electronic parts 36, 38, 39 additionally covered by a protective intermediate cover 64.

According to FIG. 5, the winding sleeve 33 has a rotary bearing on one end face serving stub shaft 66 or the like and at least on its other end face a drive slot 68, which is for a fixed rotary connection to the geared motor 36 cares.

According to FIG. 5, there is at the free front end of the film tube 46 and 6 a stable, flexible handle or extension piece 72. This has an approximately extending over the width of the flat film tube 46 and this spreading rear attachment end 74 which is simply on the outside of the hose can be glued on. The extension piece 72 is fixed to the hose in such a way that it is when pulling the film tube 46 from the supply roll 28 and Pulling the same on the toilet seat 12 is always on top. This makes one good accessibility and easy handling guaranteed.

The front free end of the extension piece 72 is narrower and as a strip or tongue 76, which can easily be gripped with two fingers, to unwind the film tube 46 from the supply roll 28, through the when open Pull out the hinged lid 48 on the top of the outlet slot 14, onto the toilet seat 12 open through the open at the top with the hinged cover 48 open Pull the entry slot 15 back into the housing 13 and with the winding sleeve 33 connect to. Since the attachment end 74 the thin, flexible tubular film laterally spreads outwards, it is always kept laid flat during manipulation.

Die Seitenränder 78 können ferner durch andere, in etwa gleichwirkende Mittel ersetzt werden, wie durch eingearbeitete oder befestigte separate, schlauchöffnende Teile, die auch einseitig vorgesehen sein können.6, the extension piece 72 has in the area of the fastening end 74 in the present case two projecting side edges 78, which with a certain Restoring action angled downwards and on the underside of the film tube 46 are glued. These side edges 78 ensure through their restoring action to ensure that the free end of the film tube drawn off from the supply roll 28 something always stays open. This makes it very easy to put on the toilet seat 12 possible. All time-consuming and annoying manipulations are eliminated for laying flat and at the same time slightly opening the hose end. On the other hand, the side edges 78 which can be folded over completely under pressure do not impede one another tight, space-saving winding of the film tube 46. Instead, also only one side edge 78 folded or angled and tube opening on the underside be fixed. The side edges 78 can also by other, approximately the same effect Funds are replaced, such as by incorporated or fixed separate, hose opening parts, which can also be provided on one side.

The at least top stiffening of the front hose end also leads to that the film tube does not twist when pulling over the toilet seat can.

These are in the present Radially arranged case and penetrate the winding sleeve 33. This allows the Tongue 76 of the extension piece 72 very quickly, in any operating position and easily inserted through the winding sleeve 33 and thus connected to it in a rotationally fixed manner. There is a secure wrinkle-free drive connection with the winding sleeve 33 produced without this the film tube 46 previously several times around the winding tube must be looped.

The tongue 76 of the extension piece 72 should be as long as possible that it can be fixed to the winding tube 33 before the hose end the knife has reached 40. This allows the film tube to be slit laterally 46 initiate what by turning the winding sleeve 33 alone is easier and more feasible. Nor is it then necessary to use the Manually underside the end of the hose on the winding side from the area below to pull up the holder 18 and the other parts.

The term flat lay is usually used in tubular film technology the wrinkle-free direct stacking of the spread walls of a film tube Understood. However, the term is more general in this text understand and also refers to a wrinkle-free spreading of just each other approximate hose walls, so in the case of the partially open Film tube.

The measures according to the invention allow a very easy, fast and reliable Manipulation and wrinkle-free winding of the very thin and flexible Plastic tubular film when changing or renewing the film supply. This can be performed reliably even by completely inexperienced personnel. Since the interior of the housing is partly due to the crease-free winding of the Tubular film is optimally used, a relatively small housing can be used be, which increases the seat depth accordingly. It subsides the present invention easily realize a toilet seat that one large hose stock for about three hundred seat uses and nevertheless an increase in the seat depth by reducing the housing by up to to 5 cm compared to conventional designs.
