Gemäß Fig. 1 ist der Bolzen 5 hinter der Feder 2 angeordnet. Er kann durch eine Öffnung 1b an der Unterseite des Gehäuses 1 ein- und ausgebaut werden. Dies ermöglicht ein leichtes Auswechseln der Verschleißteile Zughaken 4 und Bolzen 5, wobei die eigentliche Zugeinrichtung mit dem Fahrzeug verbunden bleibt. Die Öffnung 1b ist durch einen lösbar am Gehäuse 1 angebrachten Deckel 1c verschlossen, der den Bolzen 5 hält. Für diese Halterung des Deckels 1c - siehe auch Fig. 2 - ist das Gehäuse 1 mit zwei neben der Öffnung 1b parallel zueinander angeordneten Stegen 1d versehen. Jeder Steg 1d hat ein Langloch 1e. In diesen Langlöchern 1e ist ein Riegel 10 eingeschoben, auf dem der Deckel 1c ruht.
