Abstract
Description
The invention consists of a square tube to be inserted into the floor, which is provided with a number of expansion plates, side pressure wings and a base plate fixed with bolts. The previous way of creating foundations, namely digging holes and pouring the foundation plate, is no longer required and is replaced by this invention.
All parts of the mechanical floor foundations are galvanized. Various adapters can be attached to the fixed galvanized base plate which is attached to the square tube. These adapters or spacers are shaped so that the mechanical base foundation can be used in a variety of ways, e.g. as a foundation for flagpoles, fence arrows, fence posts, street lighting masts, foundations for small garden sheds etc.
It is already a mech. Floor foundation of the type described in the preamble of claim 1. This already known base foundation consists of a round tube with welded side pressure wings and a continuous rod provided with 4 welded spreading hooks. This floor foundation is inserted into the floor. The spreading hooks are pushed outwards by pulling up the middle rod. The central rod and the round tube are fixed together using a special tool. This complicated construction, which has many welding joints, has limited application possibilities due to the too small number of side pressure wings and expansion hooks. It also has weaknesses in terms of side load stability.
- the central square tube with its punched and integrated spreading plates, which are available in different numbers,
- one, two or three loose side pressure wings
- the base plate, which is fixed to the central tube with bolts.
This base plate also forms the foundation and mounting base for the adapter, on which flagpoles, fence posts / pillars, street lighting masts, etc. can be attached.
The advantage of this invention is that less complicated and expensive accessories are required. The quick fixation makes it possible to continue building immediately with the adapter. Any fastening requests, be it flagpoles, street lighting masts, etc., can be easily met. The invention guarantees increased security with regard to the requirements for the foundation. One or two side pressure wings and a number of expansion plates in pairs, as well as the integrated square tube as the center, make this invention a simple and stable floor foundation than other known constructions for the same purpose. In addition, this invention requires less transport and storage capacity and is also easier and cheaper to manufacture. There is no welding work during manufacture, which is another advantage of this product in terms of ecology.

gen.
- Figure A:
- Perspective of the mechanical floor foundation
- Figure B:
- The square base plate (1) with a square hole in the middle for the central tube (3). This plate has several functions.
- a) The base plate (1) is the support base for the traction tool when installing the base foundation in the floor.
- b) Stabilizing and securing the side pressure wing (2).
- c) The base plate (1) has a tensioning function between the central square tube (3) and its expansion plates (4) in relation to the base surface.
- d) The base plate (1) provides a stable, flat base for the adapters or for intermediate pieces that are needed to attach other constructions to the base foundation, e.g. Flagpoles, fence posts etc.
- Figure C:
- Shows a bolt (5) for attaching the base plate to the central square tube. The bolt has a hole at each end into which a steel locking pin is hammered.
- Figure D:
- Shows the side pressure wings (2). The side pressure wings (2) are punched out of metal and are provided with two continuous parallel slots, which have a length of 2 x the side length of the central tube (3). The wings (2) are folded according to figure (E).
- Figure E:
- Shows a side pressure wing (2) shown in perspective with the parts 2 (x) and 2 (y) bent so that a square hole fits into the central tube (3). This part of the construction is the factor of the floor foundation. The side thrust forces are absorbed by these side pressure wings (2). A central tube (3) can be provided with several side pressure wings (2). The decision as to how many leaves (2) are necessary depends on the nature of the ground.
- Figure G:
- The figure shows a square tube (3) with punched-out expansion plates (4). The tube is manufactured in different lengths and thicknesses. The expansion plate (4) has a length of 1/10 of the length of the entire tube and a width of 3/5 of the total width of the square tube. The spreading plates (4) are punched out in such a way that an arc shape is created against the free ends. The free part of the expansion plate protrudes from the central tube (3) at an angle of 15-20 o . The central tube (3) can be provided with several expansion plates (4) during manufacture. The basic construction includes 4 expansion plates. A number of holes are drilled at the opposite end of the central tube.
- Figure H:
- Shows the central tube (3) and the expansion plates (4) viewed from above.
- Figure I:
- Shows the mechanical floor foundation with the various components numbered from 1 to 5.
- Figure J:
- The central tube (3) with side pressure wing (4) fully inserted in the floor and with a base plate (1). A traction tool is coupled to the base plate (1) in the uppermost hole of the central tube (3). With the help of the pulling tool, the central tube (3) is pulled upwards, through the side pressure wings (2) and the base plate (1). The pulling torque is continued until a max. Tension between base plate (1) and expansion plates (4) arise. At this pulling moment, the expansion plates (4) open, giving a fixing effect together with the side pressure sashes (2). The central tube (3) is now fixed to the base plate (1) with the bolts (5).
- Figure K:
- Shows the central tube (3) pulled up and fixed with the bolt (5) on the base plate (1). When the central tube (3) is pulled upwards, the expansion plates (4) are pressed outwards in the surrounding soil material due to the angles that arise between the expansion plates (4) and the longitudinal direction of the central tube (3). A strong tension ratio has now arisen between the base plate (1) and the expansion plates (4), which absorbs all tensile and shear forces. The side pressure vanes (2) absorb torques and side forces. The base plate (1) provides a stable base for adapters for further attachment and use of the base foundation, e.g. for flagpoles, fence posts etc., is required.
- Figure L:
- Shows the complete base foundation from above with the base plate (1), side pressure wing (2), central square tube (3), the bent out expansion plates (4) and locking bolts (5), which fix the base plate (1) to the central tube (3).
