The brackets 12 at the ends of the rails 10 are mounted on the upper plate 13 of the lifting device, of which the lower plate 14 and the pair of scissor levers 33, 34 can also be seen. These are mounted in axes 15, 16 and at the end have rollers 35, 36 mounted in axes 17, 18. The actuating cylinders 19 bring about the stroke of the plate 13 with respect to the plate 14, the said scissor arrangement ensuring the parallelism of the plates. End stops 38 for the holder 1 can be seen on central holders 37. The drive cylinder 11 can be seen below this.

Claims (5)

  1. A transfer device for gripping and depositing a filled bag from a suspended position at a filler neck S to transport means and for transferring said filled bag into a bag closing device, having a clamping assembly (100) with two approximately vertically disposed arms (2) which are each articulated about their lower ends and to which, respectively, there are connected approximately horizontally diposed clamping bars (5), with the arms (2) for clamping in the bag top by means of the clamping bars (5) underneath bag clamps at the filler neck being movable with their free ends in the sense of closing the clamping bars and with the arms (2) being suitable to receive the transport means extending between them in the direction of the opening edge of a bag, and having a linear drive unit (200) for moving the clamping assembly (100) in the direction of movement of the transport means,
    characterised by
    a lifting unit (300) for the clamping assembly (100) to deposit the bag clamped in between the clamping bars on to the transport means, with the actuating means for the clamping assembly (100), the drive unit (200) and the lifting unit (300) being arranged underneath the transport means provided in the form of a band conveyor F.
  2. A transfer device according to claim 1,
    characterised in
    that the arms (2) each comprise head pieces (4) which, respectively, are connected to each of the free ends of the arms (2) and on which there are located the clamping bars (5), with the head pieces (4) being guided substantially horizontally by steering levers (6) arranged so as to extend parallel to the arms (2).
  3. A transfer device according to claim 2,
    characterised in
    that the arms (2) are provided in the form of two-arm levers whose lower ends are acted upon by one single setting cylinder (27) , with said lower ends being connected together by a coupling element (30).
  4. A transfer device according to any one of claims 1 to 3,
    characterised in
    that the lifting unit (300) comprises a lower plate (14), an upper plate (13) and intermediate double shear levers (33, 34) which, at one of their ends, are supported in one of the plates and which are supported at the respective other plate by means of rollers (35, 36) secured to the other ends of said levers, and that a lifting cylinder (19) is operative vertically between said plates.
  5. A transfer device according to any one of claims 1 to 4,
    characterised in
    that the drive unit (200) comprises two horizontal rails (10) which are firmly attached on the upper plate (13) and on which the holding means (1) for the arms (2) are arranged so as to be movable in the longitudinal direction of the band conveyor F.
