Abstract

The plate (10) has a bottom (12) on whose upper side a mirror (14) is constructed, and on whose underside an annular foot (16) with an unglazed standing surface (18) is constructed. Adjoining the bottom (12) is a wall (20) which has a lower and an upper support surface (22, 24) for a plate (10) located above it or below it. The vertical spacing (b) between the lower support surface (22) and the standing surface (18) is smaller than the vertical spacing (a) between the upper support surface (24) and the mirror (14). The foot (16) is separated from the lower support surface (22) by an annular spacer surface (26) of little inclination and a centring surface (28) of greater inclination arranged around the spacer surface (26). A plate (10) which has not been precisely centred from the outset during stacking is thus prevented from damaging a glazed surface on the plate (10) located below it with the unglazed standing surface (18) of its foot (16). Even in the case of imprecise centring, only glazed surfaces of the plates (10) can touch one another. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a stackable glazed tableware part with a bottom, on the top of which is a mirror, and on the underside of which an annular base is formed with an unglazed base, and with a wall which has a lower and an upper support surface for an underneath or has crockery part above, the vertical distance between the lower support surface and the standing surface being smaller than the vertical distance between the upper support surface and the mirror.

A generic crockery part is known from DE-GM 86 14 847. When stacking known pieces of crockery, especially when stacking them in a hurry and consequently often not very carefully, the problem arises that the unglazed footprint of the foot hits glazed surfaces of the underlying crockery and scratches them. The scratch marks on the glazed surfaces when stacking the items on the tableware lead to an unattractive appearance of the items after a short period of use.

When conventional crockery parts are stacked, inaccurate centering of the individual crockery parts with respect to one another can also result in a large part of a stack is crooked as a result of an incorrectly centered piece of crockery and therefore tips over relatively easily.

The invention has for its object to provide a stackable glazed tableware part in which the problems described above no longer occur and which requires less attention when stacking.

This object is achieved in that the foot is separated from the lower support surface by an annular spacing surface of low steepness and a centering surface arranged around the spacing surface of greater steepness. These features largely avoid that a piece of crockery that is not centered exactly from the start on the underside of the crockery with the unglazed footprint of its foot damages glazed surfaces on the underside of the crockery part, since even if the crockery parts are inaccurately centered, only glazed surfaces can meet. When stacking crockery items, they are usually only centered on top of each other. The centering surface of greater steepness arranged around the spacing surface has a self-centering effect in this case, so that less attention is required when stacking the dishes according to the invention.

The spacing surface and the centering surface are preferably designed such that they result in a common convex profile of at least approximately constant curvature. This design avoids edges that potentially endanger the glaze of the underlying tableware.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the lower support surface has an inner diameter that is at least 10% larger than the outer diameter of the standing surface. In a modified embodiment, the inside diameter is the lower support surface is 20 to 30% larger than the outer diameter of the base. The inward-facing base surface further reduces the risk of scratching glazed surfaces when stacked. In addition, this embodiment places fewer demands on the accuracy of the centering when stacking.

The lower support surface is preferably flat so that the individual items of crockery lie securely on top of one another. The upper support surface preferably has a convex profile, so that the contact surface of crockery parts lying on top of one another is small and essentially represents a circular line.

In a modified embodiment of the tableware part according to the invention, in which a flag protrudes outwards from the wall above the lower support surface, the upper support surface is formed by an annular bead which projects upwards over the flag. This embodiment combines the advantages of the other embodiments with an even easier and safer handling, since the annular bead increases the distance between adjacent flags, which they have in the axial direction of a stack, which is particularly effective in the case of flat dishes. Individual items of crockery can thus be gripped better from a stack without the item of crockery underneath being unintentionally removed from the stack.

The invention is explained in more detail below with the aid of schematic drawings of an exemplary embodiment. It shows:
Fig. 1
the top view of two stacked dishes, and
Fig. 2
the section II-II of Fig. 1st

In the figures 1 and 2, a plate-shaped tableware part 10 is shown of an essentially round shape. The dishes 10 has a bottom 12, the top of which forms a mirror 14. On the underside of the base 12, a foot 16, which has an unglazed standing surface 18, projects downward as an annular projection.

A wall 20 adjoins the base 12 radially outward, on which a lower support surface 22, with which a tableware part 10 is supported on an underlying tableware part of a stack, and an upper support surface 24, on which the tableware part lying above in the stack is supported , are trained.

Die Abstandsfläche 26 und die Zentrierfläche 28 trennen den Fuß 16 von der unteren Stützfläche 22.An annular spacing surface 26 and a centering surface 28, which adjoins the spacing surface 26 in the radial direction, are formed on the outside of the wall 20 facing an underneath piece of tableware. The spacing surface 26 and the centering surface 28 result in a common convex profile of at least approximately constant curvature, the steepness of the spacing surface 26 being less than the steepness of the centering surface 28. The spacing surface 26 and the centering surface 28 separate the foot 16 from the lower support surface 22.

In the exemplary embodiment shown, the inner diameter c of the lower support surface 22 is approximately 25% larger than the outer diameter d of the standing surface 18.

A flag 30 protrudes radially outward from the wall 20 of the crockery part 10. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the upper support surface 24 is formed by an annular bead 32 which projects upwards over the lug 30. As can be seen in FIG. 2, the upper of the two crockery parts 10 lies with its flat lower support surface 22 on the annular bead 32 of the lower crockery part 10, the standing surface 18 of the upper crockery part mirroring the mirror 14 of the underlying crockery part not touched. The annular bead 32 increases the distance between the flags 30 of stacked tableware parts 10, which makes them easier and safer to remove from a stack.
