Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a container for holding goods, for example for foods such as pizza or the like, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Containers are known which are designed in the form of a shell from aluminum for the transport of foodstuffs, in particular hot dishes. Due to an inclined, outwardly diverging arrangement of the edge walls, several such containers can be stacked in a very space-saving manner when empty, in that they can be placed one inside the other.
  • This known container is closed with a separate lid, which consists of a flat blank and is placed on a support edge of the bowl-like container and is then fixed by flanging an edge web extending upwards over the support edge. This makes the closure of the container cumbersome and uncomfortable, especially for hot dishes.
  • So-called pizza boxes are furthermore known - see, for example, US Pat. No. 5,014,853, which are usually traded as flat blanks made of cardboard or cardboard and therefore disadvantageously only in a state ready for use by the user and ready to accept the respective contents. " have to be unfolded ". This is cumbersome and time consuming.
  • such containers can be made ready for use, i.e. ready-to-shoot condition can only be stored extremely poorly, since they can only be stacked on top of each other and therefore require considerably more storage space than the original cuts.
  • the stacks are extremely unstable and are therefore subject to the constant risk of tipping over.
  • the cover part is foldably connected to the lower part, so that only the cover part is folded over onto or into the lower part for closing.
  • an absolutely flat upper surface is then present in the closed state, so that here too several closed containers placed one on top of the other can slide against one another.
  • a food container which also consists of a lower part and a cover part, but the lower part has side walls which extend at right angles to the floor, so that several lower parts are not safe and ready for use can be stacked in one another to save space.
  • Only the upper part has walls diverging obliquely outwards from a cover wall. The upper part engages with the walls in the lower part.
  • Document DE-A-25 54 034 used to form the preamble of claim 1 describes a "container” in which on the one hand a “conicity” and a space-saving stackability resulting therefrom in the empty state and on the other hand one for forming edge webs as “stacking” Anti-slip protection "(when filled) cover wall offset downwards are realized. Furthermore, the cover part is supported on the base of the lower part by means of edge webs engaging in the lower part, but in some cases only indirectly via narrow flaps. Good stability is achieved in this way, so that several filled containers can be stacked.
  • the one-piece and articulated lid with the lower part has two shoulders in the side edge region of a front flap, which should "cooperate” with corresponding shoulders in the lower part when the lid is closed. Presumably, this should lock the lid against opening, but at best in combination with the foldable connection of the bottom and lid parts provided here opposite should be sufficient.
  • this solution is only suitable for folding blanks with flaps that are folded inwards in the lower part.
  • the present invention is therefore based on the object of creating a container of the generic type which, while maintaining a good and space-saving or safe against slipping stackability in the empty and filled state, is particularly good and comfortable to use and, with a structurally simple design, also has a good locking mechanism the lid part in the closed position guaranteed.
  • a container 1 according to the invention consists in all versions of an essentially shell-like lower part 2 for holding food or any other objects (goods) and a lid part 4 serving for closing the lower part 2.

  • each edge wall 8 includes an obtuse angle ⁇ with the bottom 6, which is between 90 ° and 180 °, preferably in the range of approximately 50 ° to 80 °.
  • the cover part 4 mainly consists of an at least approximately flat cover wall 10, which covers the receiving space 9 of the lower part 2 from above in a closed position which closes the lower part 2.
  • the lower part 2 or its base 6 is rectangular, in some cases in particular square, and consequently has four edge walls 8 which are connected or connectable in pairs in the corner regions of the lower part 2. Consequently, the lower part 2 has the spatial shape of an inverted truncated pyramid, which - as already mentioned - ensures the stackability. This shape of the lower part 2 could also be described as "quasi-conically expanded". Because of the shape of the lower part 2 described as preferred, the cover part 4 or its cover wall 10 also has a rectangular or square shape in the main. However, the invention is by no means limited to the rectangular or square shape of the lower part 2 and the cover part 4; rather, other geometric shapes such as circular, oval, polygonal or the like would also be possible.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a container (1) for receiving articles, consisting of a bottom part (2) and a lid part (4). The bottom part (2) has a bottom (6) and edge walls (8) which bound a receiving compartment (9) and extend upwards starting from the bottom (6) and diverging obliquely outwards at an obtuse angle alpha > 90 DEG relative to the bottom (6). With their upper edges (12) they bound an upper container opening, the lid part (4) covering the receiving compartment (9) at the top with a lid wall (10) in a closure position. The lid part (4) can be retained on the bottom part (2) in the closure position in a non-positive manner and/or via at least one snap-on positive-locking or non-positive connection (20) in such a way that the lid wall (10) is arranged in the closure position in a plane between the upper edges (12) of the edge walls (8) and the bottom (6). By this means, at least part of the edge walls (8) forms edge webs (18) which project upwards beyond the lid wall (10) in some regions and prevent a plurality of stacked containers from slipping. <IMAGE>

Description

The present invention relates to a container for holding goods, for example for foods such as pizza or the like, according to the preamble of claim 1.

Containers are known which are designed in the form of a shell from aluminum for the transport of foodstuffs, in particular hot dishes. Due to an inclined, outwardly diverging arrangement of the edge walls, several such containers can be stacked in a very space-saving manner when empty, in that they can be placed one inside the other. This known container is closed with a separate lid, which consists of a flat blank and is placed on a support edge of the bowl-like container and is then fixed by flanging an edge web extending upwards over the support edge. This makes the closure of the container cumbersome and uncomfortable, especially for hot dishes. In addition, in this known container, a practically flat upper surface is formed in the closed state, so that several closed containers can be stacked on top of one another, but there is always the risk that the containers will slide laterally and thus fall down. This disadvantage occurs particularly when several containers are to be carried standing on top of each other.

So-called pizza boxes are furthermore known - see, for example, US Pat. No. 5,014,853, which are usually traded as flat blanks made of cardboard or cardboard and therefore disadvantageously only in a state ready for use by the user and ready to accept the respective contents. " have to be unfolded ". This is cumbersome and time consuming. In addition, such containers can be made ready for use, i.e. ready-to-shoot condition can only be stored extremely poorly, since they can only be stacked on top of each other and therefore require considerably more storage space than the original cuts. In addition, the stacks are extremely unstable and are therefore subject to the constant risk of tipping over. In this food transport container, the cover part is foldably connected to the lower part, so that only the cover part is folded over onto or into the lower part for closing. However, an absolutely flat upper surface is then present in the closed state, so that here too several closed containers placed one on top of the other can slide against one another.

From US-A-4 801 077 a food container is known which also consists of a lower part and a cover part, but the lower part has side walls which extend at right angles to the floor, so that several lower parts are not safe and ready for use can be stacked in one another to save space. Only the upper part has walls diverging obliquely outwards from a cover wall. The upper part engages with the walls in the lower part. Thus, even in the closed state, there are completely flat surfaces at the top and bottom, which means that several stacked, closed containers can easily slide against each other.

From EP-A-0 369 948 a further container, in particular for food, is known, in which a very flat lower part, which has only narrow or low edge strips, and a hood-like upper part can be connected to one another via tabs which engage in slots. Here too there is the disadvantage of the risk of slipping of several closed and stacked containers.

Document DE-A-25 54 034 used to form the preamble of claim 1 describes a "container" in which on the one hand a "conicity" and a space-saving stackability resulting therefrom in the empty state and on the other hand one for forming edge webs as "stacking" Anti-slip protection "(when filled) cover wall offset downwards are realized. Furthermore, the cover part is supported on the base of the lower part by means of edge webs engaging in the lower part, but in some cases only indirectly via narrow flaps. Good stability is achieved in this way, so that several filled containers can be stacked. Now in this known container it is provided that the one-piece and articulated lid with the lower part has two shoulders in the side edge region of a front flap, which should "cooperate" with corresponding shoulders in the lower part when the lid is closed. Presumably, this should lock the lid against opening, but at best in combination with the foldable connection of the bottom and lid parts provided here opposite should be sufficient. In addition, this solution is only suitable for folding blanks with flaps that are folded inwards in the lower part.

The present invention is therefore based on the object of creating a container of the generic type which, while maintaining a good and space-saving or safe against slipping stackability in the empty and filled state, is particularly good and comfortable to use and, with a structurally simple design, also has a good locking mechanism the lid part in the closed position guaranteed.

According to the invention this is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1. Advantageous developments of the invention and preferred embodiments are the subject of the dependent claims.

Advantageously, when the container is closed, when inserting the lid part into the lower part, an "automatic" locking, in that the insertion lugs snap into the associated slot openings, which is favored by the oblique arrangement ("conicity") of the walls of the lower part, since practical insertion bevels are formed as a result.

In connection with the configuration according to the invention, further advantages are also achieved or maintained. Thus, the arrangement of the cover wall and the resulting edge webs projecting beyond the cover wall advantageously result in a lateral sliding off of another container placed on the lid wall is safely avoided, so that a secure, non-slip stackability of several closed containers is ensured.

Further advantages and special features of the invention are explained in more detail in the following description of the figures.

In the different figures of the drawing, the same or corresponding, equivalent parts are always designated with the same reference numerals, which is why they are usually only described once. Each description of a part that may only occur once thus also applies analogously to the other drawing figures, in which this part can also be recognized with the corresponding reference numerals.

A container 1 according to the invention consists in all versions of an essentially shell-like lower part 2 for holding food or any other objects (goods) and a lid part 4 serving for closing the lower part 2. The lower part 2 consists of an at least approximately flat bottom 6 as well as Edge walls 8 which delimit an upwardly open receiving space 9 of the lower part 2 on all sides. Furthermore, the edge walls 8, starting from the edge of the base 6, extend upwards away from the latter, and at least some of the edge walls, but preferably all the edge walls 8, also extend at an obtuse angle, diverging obliquely outwards. This means that preferably each edge wall 8 includes an obtuse angle α with the bottom 6, which is between 90 ° and 180 °, preferably in the range of approximately 50 ° to 80 °. As a result, the lower part 2 is advantageously very space-saving and can be stacked with little risk of tipping when empty, by inserting a lower part 2 into a further lower part 2.

The cover part 4 mainly consists of an at least approximately flat cover wall 10, which covers the receiving space 9 of the lower part 2 from above in a closed position which closes the lower part 2.

In the illustrated preferred exemplary embodiments of the invention, the lower part 2 or its base 6 is rectangular, in some cases in particular square, and consequently has four edge walls 8 which are connected or connectable in pairs in the corner regions of the lower part 2.

With their upper edges or upper edges 12, the edge walls 8 delimit a container opening (not designated) which lies in a plane 14, which is consequently defined by the upper edges 12 of the edge walls 8 (see in particular the cross sections in FIGS. 6, 17 and 18). It is now provided according to the invention that in the closed position of the cover part 4, the cover wall 10 lies in a plane 16 which is arranged in the region between the plane 14 defined by the upper edges 12 of the edge walls 8 and the bottom 6. This means that the cover wall 10 or the level 16 is arranged below the level 14 and thus somewhat sunk into the lower part 2. Thus, the cover wall 10 is practically already within the receiving space 9 of the lower part 2. In order to avoid unnecessarily reducing the receiving space 9, particularly in the case of flat containers, ie containers with a lower height and therefore suitable, for example, for holding pizza or the like, the level lies 16 preferably only slightly below the level 14 of the upper edges 12, that is, just so far below that at least some of the edge walls 8 in some areas form upwardly projecting edge webs 18 with such a height that a set up on the closed container 1 Lower part 2 of another container 1 is fixed against lateral slipping. In practice, a height of the edge webs 18 in the range of 3 to 10 mm is sufficient for this; the height is preferably 5 to 8 mm. In the case of taller containers (cf. FIGS. 16 to 18), however, the cover wall 10 may well be “lower” below the level 14, for example in the range from 20 to 40 mm, in particular approximately 30 mm. This expedient embodiment advantageously allows a plurality of closed containers 1 to be stacked one on top of the other, a high level of security against lateral sliding of the containers relative to one another being ensured. The edge webs 18 can be formed at least in the corner regions of the container 1, but can also easily extend over the entire circumference, or only in the region of two opposite edge walls 8.

It is also provided that the cover part 4 in order to simplify the "assembly", ie the placement on the lower part 2, in the closed position and can be locked to the lower part 2 via at least one snap-fit form or force fit connection 20. Several specific, constructive options for this are explained below with reference to the individual exemplary embodiments.

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 6, the cover part 4 has edge webs 22 according to the invention, which are arranged at an angle to the cover wall 10, namely the edge webs 22 starting from the cover wall 10 in the direction of the base 6 downward, so that they in of the closed position (see in particular FIG. 6) engage in the lower part 2 and are then supported on the bottom 6 and preferably also at least approximately over the entire surface, rest non-positively on the edge walls 8. The edge webs 22 are accordingly adapted to the angle α of the oblique edge walls 8 of the lower part 2 with respect to their arrangement at an angle to the cover wall 10. An edge web 22 is preferably formed on each edge of the cover wall 10, which is in particular square here, so that the cover part 4 here has four edge webs 22. Because of this advantageous embodiment, the cover part 4 only needs to be inserted into the lower part 2 with the edge webs 22, as a result of which sufficient locking is immediately ensured by frictional engagement.

Advantageously, the edge webs 22 of the cover part 4 are connected to the cover wall 10 so that they can be folded over, and in an initial position they lie in one plane with the cover wall 10 (see FIG. 4). As a result, in the starting position, extremely space-saving storage of the cover parts 4 is possible by simply placing the cover parts 4, which are then flat. The edge webs 22 are expediently about Fold lines 24 are connected to the cover wall 10 (FIG. 4), these fold lines 24 being formed by linear material weakenings, for example by scoring and / or perforations or as so-called film hinges. In use, the edge webs 22 then only need to be folded over and inserted into the lower part, in which case the angle arrangement is practically automatically adapted to the oblique edge walls 8. In addition, it should be pointed out in this connection that the cover wall 10 is adapted in terms of its shape and size to that surface which is defined or enclosed by the edge walls 8 of the lower part 2 at the level of the plane 16 of the cover wall 10. This can also be clearly seen in particular in FIG. 6.

In addition to the described locking of the lid part 4 via the edge webs 22, a locking is provided according to the invention via at least one snap-fit form / force-fit connection 20. The embodiment of this connection 20 according to the invention, which is in accordance with claim 1, is shown in FIGS. 9 and 10 and in FIGS 16 to 18 and will be explained in the following.

Jede randliche, schmale Ausnehmung 26 erweitert sich in ihren beiden seitlichen Endbereichen in Richtung des Bodens derart über Hinterschneidungen, daß zwei seitliche, aufeinanderzu weisende Arretiernasen 30 gebildet sind, die in der Verschlußlage des Deckelteils 4 dessen Arretierlaschen 28 jeweils "schnappend", d.h. rastend (form- oder kraftformschlüssig), umgreifen und so sicher arretieren.1 to 6, the container 1 has four somewhat different connections 20, each of which is formed in the area of the square sides and each of which is formed at the upper edge of the respective edge wall 8 of the lower part 2 and has an upwardly open recess 26 and one in the plane the cover wall 10 lying and extending laterally beyond this, in particular approximately oval locking tab 28 of the cover part 4 exist. Each marginal, narrow recess 26 widens in their two lateral end areas in the direction of the bottom via undercuts in such a way that two lateral locking lugs 30 facing each other are formed which, in the closed position of the cover part 4, each have their locking tabs 28 "snapping", ie latching (positive or non-positive), and so on lock securely.

Fig. 3 und 4). In the embodiment of the cover part 4 with the edge webs 22, the locking tabs 28 are advantageously cut free from the edge webs 22, so that after the edge webs 22 have been folded over, the locking tabs 28 each remain in the plane of the lid wall 10 projecting therefrom (see FIG. 3 and 4). Accordingly, the fold lines do not extend over the area of the locking tabs 28. Furthermore, to form the recesses 26 of the edge walls 8, it is preferably provided that in these areas of the initially "complete" edge walls 8 only the locking tabs 30 are cut free and then fold lines extending parallel to the top edge of the wall 32 are formed. This results in foldable support webs 34 around the fold lines 32, on which the cover part 4 rests in the closed position, namely - see FIG. 6 - the support webs 34 can either be folded inwards so that the cover wall 10 then rests thereon, or they can can be folded outwards, in which case the locking tabs 28 rest. In the folded-in state, the support webs 34 also pass through openings 36 of the edge walls 8 of the lower part 2 formed due to the cut-out locking tabs 28 (see the left part in FIG. 6).

Since the positive / positive locking connections 20 described, the cover part 4 is extremely firm and secure on the lower part 2 lock, in this embodiment the locking tabs 28 can advantageously also be used in the closed position as carrying handles for the container 1 according to the invention. This makes carrying the container 1 particularly convenient, especially when it contains hot food, because touching the lower part 2, which is also hot, can be avoided.

The embodiment according to FIGS. 7 and 8 corresponds in some basic details to that according to FIGS. 1 to 6. To this extent, parts with the same reference numbers can be referred to the above description, and only the special features and differences will be explained in more detail below.

In this embodiment, the container 1 has only two form / force-fit connections 20. According to FIG. 7, the cover part 4 has a locking tab 28 in the area of two diametrically opposed side edges and two diametrically opposed edge webs 22 in the area of the other two side edges. Furthermore, support tabs 38 are formed on the edges of the cover part 4 which have the edge webs 22 and which laterally protrude from the cover wall 10 in the plane thereof and are located in the closed position in the region of edge recesses 40 of the edge walls 8 of the base part 2 (see FIG. 8 ) lean on this. The support tabs 38 are preferably cut out of the edge webs 22, essentially analogously to the locking tabs 28 of the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 6.

According to FIG. 8, the lower part 2 corresponds essentially to that of FIGS. 1 to 6, but here are the Formation of the recesses 26 cut-free support webs 34 each practically divided in two with a central, recessed intermediate space, these intermediate spaces forming the recesses 40 for the support tabs 38 when the support webs 34 are in their not yet folded state lying in the plane of the edge walls 8 . Accordingly, each of the edge walls 8 of the lower part 2 is advantageously designed identically, which has the essential advantage that the cover part 4 in each of four positions rotated by 90 ° in the plane of the cover wall 10 (and not only in two positions rotated by 180 ° ) can be brought into the closed position. For this purpose, the corresponding support webs 34, which then lie in the area of the locking tabs 28 of the cover part 4, need only be folded down accordingly. For the sake of completeness, it should also be mentioned that in this embodiment both the locking tabs 28 and the recesses 26 provided for this purpose have a greater length than FIGS. 1 to 6, ie they extend over more than half of the respective edge length.

The embodiment according to the invention, corresponding to the combination of features of claim 1, of FIGS. 9 and 10 differs from the previously described embodiments primarily by the type of positive / positive connection 20. Here, the cover part 4 (FIG. 9) has according to the invention at its edges a plurality, in particular four per edge, lying in the plane of the cover wall 10 and projecting laterally therefrom. For each of these lugs 42, the lower part 2 (FIG. 10) has a slot opening or a locking hole 44 in the corresponding upper region of the edge walls 8. These locking holes 44 are preferably each in this embodiment approximately semicircular, with an arcuate hole edge pointing upwards and a straight hole edge forming a lower support for the respective locking lug 42. Due to the oblique arrangement of the edge walls 8, the cover part 4 can simply be pressed into the lower part 2, with each locking projection 42 then snapping into one of the locking holes 44 with slight elastic deformation. As shown in FIG. 9, the cover part 4 also has edge webs 22 according to the invention, which essentially correspond to the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 6. The locking lugs 42 are then cut out of the edge webs 22 in an analogous manner.

Certain details will now be explained that relate to most of the illustrated embodiments.

The lower part 2 and the cover part 4 can advantageously each be formed as a one-piece molded part. Plastics, such as polystyrene, are particularly suitable for this. However, materials based on paper or cardboard or metals, such as aluminum in particular, can also be used for this purpose.

-unbedenklichen Material kaschiert. Wird als Material Karton bzw. Pappe verwendet, so liegt die Materialstärke vorzugsweise im Bereich von 280 bis 1.000 g/m2.In the preferred embodiments shown, however, the lower part 2 and the cover part 4 are each formed from a one-piece, originally planar blank 56 or 58 made of a foldable material. A part of the edge walls 8 of the lower part 2 for connection to the respectively adjacent edge wall 8 in the corner region of the lower part 2 has connecting tabs 60 which are connected to the corresponding edge walls 8 via fold lines 62 are. To produce the above-described, ready-to-use shape of the lower part 2, the edge walls 8 connected to the bottom 6 via fold lines 63 (FIG. 2) are folded up, and the connecting flaps 60 are turned inwards. The connection then takes place in the position in which the edge walls 8 enclose the desired angle α with the bottom 6. The edge walls can be glued, welded, riveted, clamped and / or plugged together via the connecting straps 60, the connecting straps 60 preferably being arranged on the inside within the receiving space 9. Of course, a liquid-tight connection should be guaranteed for certain dishes; in contrast, this would not be absolutely necessary, for example, for pizzas or other "solid" goods (objects). Cardboard, cardboard, corrugated cardboard or plastic is particularly suitable as material for the container 1. Preferably, at least the lower part 2 is then laminated on the inside with aluminum, parchment or a similar food-neutral or harmless material. If cardboard or cardboard is used as the material, the material thickness is preferably in the range from 280 to 1,000 g / m 2 .

All existing fold lines of the blanks 56, 58, which have already been described above, are formed as linear material thinnings or weakenings, for example by scoring and / or perforating. The connecting tabs 60 are cut out of the blank 56; 2 shows corresponding cutouts 64 with a somewhat exaggerated width for the sake of clarity.

For certain dishes, especially pizza, it can be advantageous if the heat creates a haze can escape to the outside. For this purpose, the cover part 4 in particular has at least one air hole 66, as is indicated, for example, in FIGS. 4 and 5.

The container 1 according to the invention is in terms of its shape, i.e. with regard to the volume of the receiving space 9, adapted to the goods to be picked up. For example, the container for holding pizzas is designed to be flat (low) in accordance with their shape and size, as can be seen from FIGS. 1 to 15; in these versions, the container 1 is used to hold a single, usually circular pizza with the usual size for this.

In the case of the embodiment according to FIGS. 11 to 15, the container 1 is also particularly suitable for pizza, but has a larger, rectangular basic shape, so that so-called "party pizza" with a larger, e.g. rectangular shape can be packed. 11 to 15 - as far as the connection between lower part 2 and lid part 4 is concerned - largely corresponds to that of FIGS. 7 and 8, the locking tabs 28 of the lid part 4 - as in the example shown - on the narrow sides of the container 1 or can be formed on the long sides. In this embodiment, however, some special features have now been realized, which will now be explained.

The lower part 2 is formed solely by folding from the originally flat blank 56 shown in FIG. 13. To connect the edge walls 8 in the corner regions of the lower part 2, this has in the region of two opposite edge walls 8 - here, for example, on the Narrow sides - in each case one fixing tab 90 adjoining the upper edge 12. The two other edge walls 8 each have two connecting tabs 60, as have already been described in principle above. For unfolding, the edge walls 8 are folded up in the direction of the arrows 92 shown in FIG. 13 into their desired angular arrangement, namely after the connecting flaps 60 have been bent inwards in the direction of arrow 93, and the fixing flaps 90 are then around the connecting flaps then resting on these edge walls 8 60 folded around in the direction of arrow 94 by about 180 °. The fixing tabs 90 preferably have web-like retaining lugs 96 which engage in slots 98 of the base 6 in the folded position. As a result, the fixing tabs 90 are locked in their folded position. In this state, the connecting tabs 60 are consequently each arranged between an edge wall 8 and one of the fixing tabs 90 in such a way that the adjacent edge walls 8 are held together in this way. An additional connection, such as gluing, staples or the like, is advantageously unnecessary as a result.

It is furthermore advantageous in this embodiment if receiving openings 100 are formed in the area of the fixing tabs 90 at the level 16 of the cover wall 10 and engage in the holding projections 102 of the cover part 4 in its position connected to the lower part 2. In this way, practically additional interlocking connections 20 are formed, which are preferably arranged in the corner regions of the container 1 (cf. in particular FIGS. 11, 12 and 14).

In this case, further snap-fit form / force-fit connections 20 are formed in that each of these edge webs 22 has a recess 104 interrupting it. In the corresponding areas of the edge walls 8, cut-out support webs 34 projecting inward into the lower part are formed, 22 locking lugs 106 being formed in the end regions of each recess 104 of the edge web, which in the closed position of the cover part 4 each have the support web 34 of the lower part 2 grasping around.

In the further embodiment of the container 1 illustrated in FIGS. 16 to 18, this or its lower part 2 each has a greater height, as a result of which it is suitable for holding larger-volume goods, such as shoes or the like. But also here the lower part 2 has the outwardly diverging edge walls 8, so that a space-saving, safe stackability of several lower parts 2 in the empty state is also ensured here. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the feature according to the invention of the cover wall 10 arranged “offset downward” and the resultant good and non-slip stackability are also ensured in the closed state of the container 1. Now, however, a large number of special features and design variants are realized in these embodiments, which will be explained in the following.

Fig. 18). Hierzu ist es zweckmäßig, wenn die Umklapplaschen 114 Halteansätze 118 aufweisen, die in Schlitzausnehmungen 120 des Deckelteils 4 bzw. der Deckelwandung 10 eingreifen (s. hierzu insbesondere Fig. 17).16 to 18 is not only the lower part 2, but - in deviation from the combination of features contained in Claim 1 - also the cover part 4 in a prefabricated, "quasi-conical expanded" shape with four formed at the top and with an angle α selected correspondingly to the lower part 2 and extending obliquely outward diverging edge webs 22a, which are each connected in pairs in the corner regions of the cover part 4 via connecting straps 108. A plurality of cover parts 4 can thus be stacked in an empty state by nesting them in the same way as the lower part 2. However, it is possible that the cover part 4 on the one hand has two edge webs 22 projecting downwards according to the invention, but on the other hand also has two edge webs 22a projecting upwards. To lock the cover part 4 in the closed position - according to the invention - it is provided that the cover wall 10 has at least two opposite insertion lugs 110 lying in the same plane, which pass through slot openings 112 of the corresponding edge walls 8 in the closed position (see FIG. 18). In addition to this, it is preferably provided that the lower part in the area of in particular two opposite edge walls 8 each has a flap 114 adjoining its upper edge 12, each flap 113 in the closed position of the cover part 4 around one of the upwardly projecting edge webs 22a Cover part 4 can be folded over in the direction of the arrows 116 shown in FIG. 16 by 180 ° and can preferably be locked in this folded-down fixing position. This is preferably achieved in that each flap 114 can be locked with the cover part 4. For this purpose, it is expedient if the fold-over flaps 114 have retaining lugs 118 which engage in slot recesses 120 in the cover part 4 or the cover wall 10 (see, in particular, FIG. 17).

Fig. 16.It should also be mentioned that - if this is desired for certain reasons - the "quasi-conical prefabricated" Lower part 2 (cf., for example, FIG. 1) is of course also possible to fold this over fold lines of the edge walls 8 which run obliquely from the lower corner regions such that the edge walls 8 then lie essentially flat on the bottom 6. Several lower parts 2 could then be stacked flat on top of one another. The same applies to the prefabricated versions of the cover part 4; see. see, for example, Fig. 16.

It should be pointed out again that the bottom 6 and the cover wall 10 can also be formed with any surface shape other than the square or rectangular shapes shown, for example circular, semicircular, oval, polygonal or the like. Furthermore, the lower part 2 can be designed with virtually any receiving volume (base area and height). In addition, the individual features of the lower part 2 and the cover part 4 can also be used - within the scope of the combination of features contained in claim 1 - between the individual exemplary embodiments in any suitable or desired combination. In the designs with a rectangular basic shape, of course, all the individual features that are disclosed with respect to a long side of the container can also be provided on a narrow side and vice versa. For example, the folding tabs 114 shown on the long sides in FIGS. 16 to 18 can also be arranged on the narrow sides. Finally, it should be pointed out that - although in all exemplary embodiments the lower part 2 and the cover part 4 are shown as separate parts - it would also be possible to design the cover part 4 in one piece with the lower part 2, in particular the cover wall 10 in the area of a to connect the upper edge 12 to one of the edge walls 8.

A container (1) for receiving goods, comprising a dish-like bottom part (2) and a lid part (4), the bottom part (2) having a base (6) and marginal walls (8) which peripherally delimit a receiving space (9) and, starting from the margin of the base (6), extend upwards away from the base (6), at least partly diverging obliquely outwards at an obtuse angle α > 90° to the base (6), and by means of their upper margins (12) delimit an upper container opening, and the lid part (4), by means of a substantially planar lid wall (10), in a closure position covering the receiving space of the bottom part (2) substantially upwardly, the lid part (4) being lockable in the closure position with force fit and/or by way of at least one clip-type form-fitting or force/form-fitting connection (20) to the bottom part (2) such that, in the closure position, the lid wall (10) lies in a plane (16) which is arranged in the region between a plane (14) of the container opening defined by the upper margins (12) of at least some of the marginal walls (8), on the one hand, and the base (6), on the other hand, so that at least some of the marginal walls (8) form marginal webs (18) which, in some regions, project upwardly beyond the lid wall (10), and the lid part (4) having at least two mutually diametrically opposing marginal webs (22) which are arranged at an angle to the lid wall (10) and, in the closure position, engage with force fit in the bottom part (2) and are supported against the base (6), characterized in that, to lock the lid part (4) in the closure position, the lid wall (10) has at least two opposing insertion lugs (42) which lie in the plane of the lid wall (10) and, in the closure position, engage in openings (44) in the corresponding marginal walls (8) of the bottom part (2).
  2. A container according to Claim 1, characterized in that the marginal webs (22) of the lid part (4) are foldably connected to the lid wall (10), these marginal webs (22) lying in the same plane as the lid wall (10), in an initial position.
  3. A container according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the marginal webs (22) of the cover part (4) extend, starting from the lid wall (10), downwards in the direction of the base (6) and bear, preferably matched to the angular position of the marginal walls (8) of the bottom part (2), substantially over their full surface with force fit against the latter, and/or cooperate with form fit or with force/form fit with the marginal walls (8) and are preferably seated by means of their free lower terminal margins on the base (6).
  4. A container according to one or more of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the lid part (4) has at least two opposing marginal webs (22a) which, starting from the lid wall (10), extend upwardly away from the base (6) and, matched to the angular position or the marginal walls (8) of the bottom part (2), bear substantially over their full surface with force fit against the marginal walls (8), the marginal webs (22a) preferably having a height such that, in the closure position of the lid part (4), they end at least approximately flush with the marginal walls (8) of the bottom part (2) delimiting the upper container opening.
  5. A container according to one or more of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the bottom part (2) has in the region of at least one or the marginal walls (8) a fold tab (114) which adjoins the upper margin (12) thereof and which, in the closure position of the lid part (4), may be folded around one or the marginal webs (22a) of the lid part (4) extending upwards in the direction remote from the base (6) of the bottom part (2), and may be locked preferably in this folded fixing position, in particular may be latched to the lid part (4).
  6. A container according to one or more of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the base (6) of the bottom part (2) and the lid wall (10) of the lid part (4) each have a rectangular or square surface shape, the bottom part (2) having four marginal walls (8), and preferably each of the four marginal walls (8) forming an obtuse angle (α) with the base (6).
  7. A container according to one or more of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the bottom part (2) is formed from a one-piece, originally planar blank (56) of a foldable material, the marginal walls (8) having connection tabs (60) for mutual connection in corner regions of the bottom part (2) and being connected to the base (6) by way of fold lines (63).
  8. A container according to Claim 7, characterized in that the marginal walls (8) are glued, welded, riveted, stapled and/or pushed together by way of the connection tabs (60).
  9. A container according to Claim 7, characterized in that to connect the marginal walls (8) in each corner region of the bottom part (2) the connection tab (60) connected, in particular in one piece, to one of the marginal walls (8) is arranged fixed between the adjacent marginal wall (8) and a foldable fixing tab (90) which is connected in particular in one piece to this marginal wall (8), preferably the fixing tab (90) being lockable, in particular by latching, in its fixing position folded in this manner.
  10. A container according to one or more of Claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the lid part (4) is formed from a one-piece, originally planar blank (58) of a foldable material.
  11. A container according to one or more of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the bottom part (2) and/or the lid part (4) are each formed as a one-part moulding, in particular of synthetic material or aluminium.
