Abstract

When appliances, especially electronic maintenance appliances, are despatched, the items in the transport container include documents specifically relating to them, like instructions for use, guarantee certificates, information, etc. When appliances of a given type are sent to various countries, the documents to be enclosed are usually drawn up in the language used at the destination. For logistic reasons, however, it is uneconomical to include the documents when the appliances are packed. The invention proposes the facility for subsequently inserting the correct documents for the appliances in the transport container in which the appliances have already been packed. To this end the transport container (2) has apertures (10) covered by one or more pivoting flaps (5). Where necessary, these flaps (5) may be opened and the documents slid into the transport container. If the flaps (5) are properly dimensioned, the documents are thus safely packed.

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Transport-Verpackung für Güter, insbesondere Geräte der Unterhaltungsindustrie, gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1.The invention relates to transport packaging for goods, in particular devices of the entertainment industry, according to the preamble of patent claim 1.

Bekannterweise müssen vielen Gütern, beispielsweise Geräten der Unterhaltungsindustrie, verschiedene Dokumente wie Bedienungsanleitungen, Garantie-Urkunden, Hinweise usw. beim Versand beigelegt werden. Dies geschieht üblicherweise beim Verpacken des Gerätes durch Einlegen in den das Gerät beinhaltenden Transportbehälter. Werden nun Geräte desselben Typs in viele verschiedene Länder versandt, so müssen die beiliegenden Dokumente, speziell die Bedienungsanleitungen, in der jeweiligen Landessprache verfaßt sein. In solchen Fällen wird meistens so verfahren, daß die Bedienungsanleitung vielsprachig gedruckt wird. Da jedoch, speziell bei Geräten der Unterhaltungsindustrie, die Gerätefunktionen immer vielfältiger werden, muß auch zwangsläufig die Bedienungsanleitung umfangreicher werden. Soll nun eine vielsprachige, alle Zielländer des Gerätes berücksichtigende Bedienungsanleitung erstellt werden, so steigt das Volumen und damit der Preis der Bedienungsanleitung kräftig an. Ideal wäre nun, wenn jedem Gerät nur eine kleine Bedienungsanleitung in der jeweiligen Landessprache des Ziellandes beigepackt würde. Das wiederum würde jedoch bedeuten, bereits bei der Verpackung des Gerätes über dessen Zielort entscheiden zu müssen, damit die richtige Bedienungsanleitung beigepackt wird. Denkbar wäre noch, für eine bestimmte, geringe Anzahl von Zielländern, in die die Hauptstückzahl der Geräte geliefert wird, eine Bedienungsanleitung mit diesen Landessprachen beizupacken. Damit können der Umfang und die Kosten der Bedienungsanleitungen in vernünftigen Grenzen gehalten werden. Claims (6)

  1. Transportation packaging (1) for goods, in particular for entertainment-industry appliances, comprising a transportation container (2), at least one, preferably two packaging elements (4), which enclose the appliance (3) at least partly in a positive manner, and an appliance-specific document (6) situated between the appliance (3) and the inside of the transportation container (2), characterized in that the transportation container (2) has at least one, preferably two openings (10), which are formed by flaps (5) which can be swivelled towards the inside of the appliance and through which the document (6) to be enclosed can be inserted after the transportation container (2) has been sealed.
  2. Transportation packaging according to Claim 1, characterized in that the flap (5) is a part of a wall of the transportation container, from which wall it is formed by cutting it free on three sides and bending it around the bending line (9).
  3. Transportation packaging according to Claim 2, characterized in that the section of the flap (5) cut free has, at at least one point, a connecting web (8) between flap (5) and transportation container (2).
  4. Transportation packaging according to Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the two transportation-container parts (2a, 2b), which are part of the transportation-container base, have contours (7).
  5. Transportation packaging according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the transportation container is composed of corrugated cardboard.
