Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Klebstoffauftragsvorrichtung mit einer Übertragungswalze, die mit einem gleichmäßigen Leimauftrag versehbar und derart an eine Formatwalze anstellbar ist, daß deren über den Umfang verteilte Auftragselemente formatmäßige Leimaufträge übernehmen und auf zu beleimende Werkstücke übertragen.The invention relates to an adhesive application device with a transfer roller which can be provided with a uniform glue application and can be adjusted to a format roller in such a way that its application elements distributed over the circumference take on format adhesive applications and transfer them to workpieces to be glued.

Bei einer aus der DE-PS 29 48 745 bekannten Klebstoffauftragsvorrichtung dieser Art, die auch mit waagerecht liegenden Walzen betrieben werden kann, kann ein Teil des von den Auftragselementen übernommenen Leims wieder abgeschleudert werden. Dieser zuviel übernommene, abgeschleuderte Leim wird durch ein Spritzblech aufgefangen. An diesem Spritzblech trocknet sodann Leim an, so daß dieses von Zeit zu Zeit mit erheblichem Aufwand wieder gereinigt werden muß. Ein weiterer Nachteil der bekannten Klebstoffauftragsvorrichtung besteht darin, daß ein relativ hoher Anteil des von den Auftragselementen zuviel übernommenen Leims abgeschleudert und anschließend nicht wieder verwendet werden kann, so daß ein hoher Verlust von nicht nutzbarem Leim eintritt.In an adhesive application device of this type known from DE-PS 29 48 745, which can also be operated with horizontally lying rollers, part of the glue taken over by the application elements can be thrown off again. Erfindungsgemäß wird diese Aufgabe bei einer Vorrichtung der gattungsgemäßen Art dadurch gelöst, daß in Drehrichtung der Formatwalze vor der Übertragungswalze eine Auffangwalze gelagert ist, die mit der Übertragungswalze einen wannenförmigen Walzenspalt bildet. Da aufgrund der das Abschleudern bewirkenden Zentrifugalkräfte von den Auftragselementen zuviel übernommener Leim gleich nach der Übernahme wieder abgeschleudert wird, wird dieser abgeschleuderte Leimanteil von der Auffangwalze aufgefangen und zur erneuten Nutzung in den zwischen der Auffangwalze und der Übertragungswalze gebildeten Walzenspalt zurückgeführt.According to the invention, this object is achieved in a device of the generic type in that a collecting roller is mounted in the direction of rotation of the format roller in front of the transfer roller and forms a trough-shaped roller gap with the transfer roller. Wie aus der Figur weiter zu erkennen ist, weist die Auffangwanne 5 einen Ablaufstutzen 8 auf und ist über Kolbenzylindereinheiten 9 und 10 absenkbar ausgebildet. Oberhalb der Auffangwanne 5 und oberhalb der Walzen 1 und 2 ist eine Zulaufleitung 11 vorgesehen, über die je nach Stellung des Umschaltventiles 12 entweder Leim oder Spülwasser in den oberen Walzenspalt, der von den Walzen 1 und 2 gebildet ist, eingebracht werden kann. Bei der Übertragung von Leim gelangen Leimauftragssegmente 13, die am Umfang einer Trägerwalze 14 angeordnet sind, während der Rotation letzterer in Berührung mit der Oberfläche der Leimwalze 1 und nehmen von dieser Leim ab. Von diesem abgenommenen Leim wird aufgrund der Umfangsgeschwindigkeit der Trägerwalze 14 und der Leimauftragssegmente 13 ein Teil abgeschleudert. 1. Klebstoffauftragvorrichtung mit einer Übertragungswalze, die mit einem gleichmäßigen Leimauftrag versehbar und derart an eine Formatwalze anstellbar ist, daß deren über deren Umfang verteilte Auftragselemente formatmäßige Leimaufträge übernehmen und auf zu beleimende Werkstücke übertragen,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß in Drehrichtung der Formatwalze (14) vor der Übertragungswalze (1) eine Auffangwalze (2) gelagert ist, die mit der Übertragungswalze (1) einen wannenförmigen Walzenspalt bildet.
