Abstract

A monodisperse single emulsion containing particles with a mean diameter within the range of 0.3 to 40 mu m and being substantially free from particles with a diameter as small as 50 % of the mean diameter or less; and a monodisperse double emulsion containing particles with a mean diameter within the range of 0.3 to 40 mu m and an internal phase concentration which is substantially uniformly regulated to be within the range of 1 to 70 %.
