Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Elektrodentragarm mit einer an seinem freien Ende befindlichen Kontaktbacke für den Stromübergang auf eine eingespannte längliche Elektrode eines Elektroofens.The invention relates to an electrode support arm with a contact jaw at its free end for the current transfer to a clamped elongated electrode of an electric furnace.
Nach dem Stand der Technik wird für die Einspannung der Elektrode und die damit einhergehende Anpressung der Elektrode gegen die Kontaktbacke ein vom Elektrodentragarm ausgehender Spannbügel vorgesehen, der mit in den Elektrodentragarm eingelagerten Spannmitteln gegen die Elektrode angezogen wird. Da der Mechanismus zum Spannen des Spannbügels und insbesondere dann auch das dafür erforderliche Aggregat, in der Regel ein Hydraulikzylinder, im Elektrodentragarm untergebracht sind, muß der Elektrodentragarm dementsprechend voluminös dimensioniert werden (DE-A-34 43 574 und US-A-3,444,305). Nach der Erfindung sind zum einen in die am freien Ende des Elektrodentragarms angesetzte Kontaktbacke, aus der Kontaktbacke in Richtung auf die Elektrode vorspringend, symmetrisch zur Tragarmlängsachse einstellbeweglich eingelagerte Kontaktstücke mit einer dem Radius der Elektrode angepaßten, einen Teilbereich des Elektrodenumfangs abdeckenden Anlagefläche vorgesehen und zum anderen eine Elektrodeneinfassung in Form eines am freien Ende des Elektrodentragarms seitlich angesetzten verwindungssteifen Bügels, in den an dessen der Kontaktbacke gegenüberliegenden Seite symmetrisch zur Tragarmlängsachse jeweils zwei, in Abstand voneinander, in Richtung der Elektrodenlängsachse gesehen, befindliche, hydraulisch betätigbare Zylinder eingelagert sind, deren auf das jeweils gegenüberliegende, in die Kontaktbacke eingelagerte Kontaktstück orientierte Kolbenstange in ein gegen die Elektrode zur Anlage kommendes Klemmstück ausläuft, das die Elektrode gegenüber der Kontaktbacke festlegt. Aus den US-A-3,686,421 und 4,182,927 sind zwar auch schon Elektrodeneinspannungen zu entnehmen, bei denen die Elektrode gegenüber der tragarmseitigen, in diesen Fällen eine durchgängige, dem Radius der Elektrode angepaßte und einen Teilbereich des Elektrodenumfangs abdeckende Kontaktfläche aufweisenden Kontaktbacke mittels einer auf der der Kontaktbacke gegenüberliegenden Seite der Elektrodeneinspannung auf die Elektrode einwirkenden, hydraulisch betätigbaren Spannbacke (eines Klemmschuhs) festgelegt wird. Dabei kann die aus der US-A-3,686,421 bekannte Kontaktbacke zusätzlich auch einstellbeweglich im Elektrodentragarm gelagert sein. Diese Arten der Einspannung ermöglichen allerdings nicht den Einsatz von Rohelektroden, vielmehr ist an die hierbei zum Einsatz kommenden Elektroden eine hohe Maßhaltigkeit in Anlehnung an die Elektrodenaufnahme zwingend erforderlich.From US-A-3,686,421 and 4,182,927 electrode clamps can already be seen, in which the electrode has a contact surface on the support arm side, in these cases a continuous, adapted to the radius of the electrode and covering a partial area of the electrode circumference by means of a contact jaw Contact jaw opposite side of the electrode clamping on the electrode acting, hydraulically actuated clamping jaw (a clamping shoe) is fixed. Gegebenenfalls steht der Freiraum im hohlen Elektrodentragarm dann auch für andere Zwecke zur Verfügung. Der Anstellmechanismus ist weniger aufwendig. Die nach der Erfindung vorgesehenen Zylinder zum Einspannen der Elektrode sind im übrigen leicht zugänglich und lassen sich somit im Bedarfsfall leicht auswechseln. Die neue Elektrodeneinspannung eröffnet auch die Möglichkeit des Einsatzes von Rohelektroden, also von Elektroden, deren Mantelfläche nicht bearbeitet ist.The electrode clamping according to the invention makes it possible to provide electrode support arms with smaller cross sections, which is desirable on site due to the often cramped conditions. Am freien Ende des Elektrodentragarms 11 sitzt die Kontaktbacke 12 auf, in der auf einem dem Radius der Elektrode 31 entsprechenden Radius symmetrisch zur Tragarmlängsachse 111 Kontaktstücke 121, 122 einstellbeweglich gelagert sind. Integrierter Bestandteil des Tragarms 11 ist des weiteren der seitlich an ihr angesetzte verwindungssteife Bügel 21, in den auch wieder symmetrisch zur Tragarmlängsachse 111 Zylinder 22, 23 eingelagert sind, deren Kolbenstangen 221 auf das Zentrum des Bügels 21 orientiert sind und in gegen die Elektrode 31 zur Anlage kommende Klemmstücke 223 mit einer der Elektrode 31 angepaßten Anlagefläche auslaufen. Die Zylinderkolben 221 sind von einem Federpaket 224 hinterfangen, die das Ausfahren des Kolbens 221 und damit die Anlage der Klemmstücke 223 über die Kolbenstange 222 gegen die Elektrode 31 bewirken. Zum Elektrodenwechsel wird der Ringraum 226 des Zylinders über die Druckmittelleitung 227 mit Druckmittel beaufschlagt, so daß der Kolben gegen die Wirkung des Federpaketes 224 einfährt und das Klemmstück 223 von der Elektrode 31 abhebt. Die Druckmittelleitung 227 ist am Elektrodentragarm 11 entlang und weiter zum Steuerstand geführt, von dort erfolgt im Bedarfsfall die Betätigung der Zylinder 22, 23.The

- Electrode supporting arm according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that the cylinders (22, 22′, 23, 23′) are detachably incorporated in the clamp (21).
