Abstract

In a rain-deflecting diffuser cowling, in particular for outgoing-air lines, a hub discharge core (2%) is held on the inside in an outwardly expanded diffuser casing (1). The diffuser casing (1) is formed at its upper opening as an upwardly narrowing blow-out mouthpiece (6) which, in association with the hub discharge core (2%), forms an annular blow-out nozzle (5). In order to improve the flow conditions in this rain-deflecting diffuser cowling and in particular to avoid blow-back of the outgoing air from the lower region by rain run-off pipes (18) arranged there, the hub discharge core (2%) is shaped cylindrically above a hemispherical cap (10). <IMAGE>
