Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Mehrfachverpackung in Form eines ein- oder mehrteiligen Verpackungsmaterialzuschnitts für eine Mehrzahl von Behältnissen, nämlich Dosen, Flaschen oder Tüten, durch die die Behältnisse zueinander unverlierbar gehalten werden, der Zuschnitt aus Pappe oder reißfestem Kunststoff besteht und die Behältnisse zumindest zum Teil umhüllt. Aufgrund der laufend strenger werdenden Abfallgesetze wird im Bereich der Verpackungsindustrie die Frage immer wichtiger, wie man den Anfall an Verpackungsmüll wirksam eindämmen kann. Diese Frage ist auch deswegen wichtig, da die neueren Bestimmungen vorschreiben, daß Hersteller dazu verpflichtet werden, den durch den Vertrieb ihrer Waren begründeten Anfall an Verpackungsmüll zurückzunehmen. Bisher war es so, daß zur Verpackung einer Mehrzahl von Behältnissen beispielsweise Bierdosen Einwegverpackungen verwendet worden sind, die nach dem Gebrauch direkt in den Müll gehen und den enormen Anfall an sog. Verpackungsmüll begründen. Darüber hinaus ist auch das sog. Papier- bzw. Der Erfindung liegt die Idee zugrunde, zumindest einen Teil der Verpackung bzw. des Verpackungsmaterialzuschnitts als Displayfläche d. h. für die aufgrund der Kennzeichnungsvorschriften notwendige Etikettierung von Behältnissen zu verwenden. Durch Auftrennung des jeweiligen Verbindungsstegs bleibt der Displaybereich behältnisgebunden, die auf dem Displaybereich vorgesehenen Beschriftungen und Werbeflächen bleiben am Behältnis. Mit der Auftrennung der Mehrfachverpackung fällt folglich kein bzw. nur geringfügiger Verpackungsabfall an. Die erfindungsgemäße Mehrfachverpackung bietet zudem den Vorteil, daß die zu verpackenden Behältnisse nicht mehr einzeln etikettiert werden müssen. Mit der Bezugsziffer 10 sind wiederum die Klebebereiche bezeichnet, über welche vorgegebene Teile des Zuschnittes 5 der Mehrfachverpackung 2 mit jeweils zugeordneten Oberflächenbereichen der einzelnen Behältnisse 1 verbunden sind. Durch diese Klebebereiche werden somit wiederum auf den entsprechenden Außenseiten der resultierenden Mehrfachverpackung 2 die Displaybereiche 3 definiert. Claims (20)

Mehrfachverpackung in Form eines ein- oder mehrteiligen Verpackungsmaterialzuschnitts für eine Mehrzahl von Behältnissen, nämlich Dosen, Flaschen oder Tüten, durch die die Behältnisse zueinander unverlierbar gehalten werden, der Zuschnitt aus Papppe oder reißfestem Kunststoff besteht und die Behältnisse zumindest zum Teil umhüllt,

   dadurch gekennzeichnet,

daß a) der Zuschnitt (5) zumindest an einer Seitenfläche mit jedem Behältnis (1) verbunden vorzugsweise verklebt ist, wodurch ein fest mit dem Behältnis (1) verbundener Displaybereich (3) des Zuschnitts (5) geschaffen wird; b) die nicht verklebten Abschnitte des Zuschnitts (5) zwischen den benachbarten Behältnissen (1) Verbindungsstege (6) bilden und c) der Zuschnitt (5) im Bereich der Verbindungsstege (6) auftrennbar ist.
