Abstract
Description
- The present invention relates to a nail button characterized in its inner part to a seal, in thermoplastic materials, which principally realized in fabrication phase an integral constraint condition of the elements and the protection, in impact damping, of the cloth from mechanical means driving effect, and in use phase the button position maintenance by means of a surface radial pattern overflowing part which presses on cloth with uniformly allotted effect so to avoid the decay for widening of the same cloth. The invented system makes industrial sector advancement in comparison with the matter of the Italian Patent Application of the same Applicant filed in Bologna on July 31, 1990 with application number 3623A/90 "Cloth protecting seal in nail button". The matter of the above cited application consisted of an elastic retaining seal characterized by a disk-shaped side whisker to keep, with uniformly allotted effect, the button on cloth and to act as impact damping against the driving effect operated from the shank button crown during the fabrication phase with emergent a conical hollow part introducible, as a first step before assembling, in the longitudinal constraint seat of said shank to pass with template reference with its end part in axial mouth of the bottom. During the assembling phase the nail sharp part, crossed the cloth, centrally punched the seal disk-shaped side whisker and penetrated into the axial conveyor of its conical part, brought in compression the same seal on the axial mouth ring-shaped rim, present on the constraint seat bottom, so realizing a stopping integrating condition of the three elements: button, seal and nail with interposed cloth holding among the opposite walls made by the nail head and the seal disk-shaped side whisker.
- The device described in the present application realized a new type button essentially foreseen in its inner a thermoplastic materials seal which, with its part lower down coming out, acts as impact damping and it keeps the button on cloth by means of insistence surfaces radial pattern centrally determining a guide structure of the nail point, while with its inner part determines the cloth holding blocking. The nail incorporation into button, determining an integral constraint condition which does impossible the extraction, is further given by the constraint seat completion with end no return part where the nail point buckles in encumbered template reference. In comparison with the prior art the invented device permits a reduction from three to two of the fitting up elements, permits a process time reduction, because it is not necessary preliminarily to apply the seal into constraint seat, and it realized a stopping integrating condition of bigger holding because it is replaced the initial stopping condition on nail with ring taking on its sharp part with an overall stopping condition coming from the buckling both of the constraint nail into alloy body seat then of the elastic holdup seal acting as stopping for initial nail part incorporation, and finally it is permitted the mechanical working with only one operative phase.
- Substantially it is foreseen a button formable for initial setting out in simple assembly on the hollow bottom of a
boasting face 1, in rolled metal section obtainable by drawing, of a thermoplastic seal withcentral separator part 2, with upward balanced curvature, for obstructing the opening 3 of the same bottom. Said seal comes out from said opening 3 with pressingnotckes system 4 determining a surfacesradial pattern 5 on the same plane, insisting on cloth to protect it from driving effect in fabrication phase and to permit the button permanent junction, centrally forming the centring structure 6 to direct the nail penetration. Said seal is held on bottom from itssuperior bucket part 7 with radial holding on the initial wall part. On the upper part the toothed form 8 of thealloy core base 9 determines an overall constraint seat making by channel 10, with initial conversion hollow to act as guide for nail in penetration, and byterminal notch 11, with spherical sector in introduction wider than said channel, to permit during the nail sharp hollow part 12 deformation the blocking realization by its incorporation being impossible the interchange for unthreading. The button completion is attainable bycap 13 application. During the mounting phase the nail sharp part 12, crossed thecloth 14, guided by the centring structure 6 punches centrally theseal separator 2, brings it in radial compression, so to block the nail initial part while its terminal part being came to buckle, for driving effet intoterminal notch 11, comes to occupy its space realizing an integral constraint condition acting for incorporation being possible an elastic radial holdup effect constraint condition and being impossible the nail extraction for unthreading. - The invented buttom is showing in indicative way in drawings of
sheet 1 where fig. 1 is view of the two button elements, visible in longitudinal section, and of nail in side view in axial position before mounting. Fig. 2 is side half-parts composed view in longitudinal section of a buttom applied on cloth. - Different embodiment foresees the same thermoplastic seal with three
parts boasting face 1 but on the upper part kept by a secondboasting face 2, in replacement ofalloy core 9, centrally forming theaxial channel 16 withupper mouth 17 withanular rim 18 for end point no return, deformed for riveting making for tool introduction from outside, of nail 12 holdup head. The button completion is attainable by application of punched cup 19 to permit the riveting of the point of the nail 12 sharp part. - Said different embodiment is illustrated in drawings of
sheet 2 where fig. 3 is view of the two button elements in longitudinal section and of the nail in side view in axial position before mounting. Fig. 4 is side composed view of the half-parts and longitudinal section view of a button applied on cloth. - During realizations: the single elements, the materials, the integrative and completion parts may be different actuated.
