Metal elastic fastening buttons are generally used for buttons on thick fabrics such as jeans, but it is difficult to pass the button head through the button hole. For this reason, swing buttons are often used on thick fabrics. FIG. 1 shows an example of a conventional zip-fastening button. 1 is a button, and 2 is a mounting member called a tack. The button 2 consists of a shell 3, a bag 4 having a central hole for receiving the tack, and an anvil 5 held between the shell and the bag. The tack 2 consists of a post 6 with a pointed head and a flange 7. A tack as shown in FIG. 2 is inserted through the garment fabric 8 into the center hole of the back 4 of the button, and by applying strong pressure against the anvil 5, the tip of the tack is bent and fixed. Tatsu 2 uses a solid material to increase its ability to penetrate fabric, but it is difficult to sharpen the tip. In place of the tack shown in FIG. 2, the present inventor proposed a tubular stud with a flange portion 9 and a knife edge as shown in FIG. 3A, or a tubular stud 10' with a squeezed tip as shown in FIG. 3B. I tried attaching a button like the one shown in Figure 1 using a button, but found that the fabric was too thick to punch the holes as I expected.

従つて本考案は上記の欠点のない首振りボタン
を提供することを目的とする。
The object of the invention is therefore to provide an oscillating button that does not have the above-mentioned drawbacks.

FIG. 4 shows the swing button of the present invention, and FIGS. 5 to 7 are explanatory diagrams of the method and state of attachment. The swing button of the present invention consists of a button 11 and a tack (attachment member) 12, all made of metal. The button 11 has a circular shell 13, a bag 14, and a disc-shaped anvil 15 held between them. A protrusion 16 is formed in the center of the anvil 15 to serve as a guide for bending the top of the tack 12. Stud 1 is placed in the center hole of back 15.
7 is loosely fitted. The stud 17 consists of a base flange 18, a cylindrical section 19 and an enlarged section 20 at its top. The enlarged portion 20 engages the curved lower end of the bag 14, thereby restricting the movement of the button and allowing the button to swing. Tack 1
2 has a base flange 21, a tubular column 22, and a flared enlarged head 23 at its upper end. The maximum diameter of the enlarged head 23 is approximately equal to or slightly larger than the inner diameter of the cylindrical portion 19 of the stud 17. Tack 1
The height of stud 2 is set to be greater than the sum of the height of stud 17 and the expected maximum thickness of the fabric.

In use, the button 1 and the tuck 12 are supported by suitable male and female molds aligned one above the other, the fabric 24 is inserted under the base flange 18 of the stud 17, and the molds are pressed toward each other. As shown in FIG. 5, a strong shearing action occurs between the outer circumference 23 of the enlarged head 23 of the tack 12 and the lower end of the cylindrical portion 19 of the stud 17, cutting the fabric into a circular shape. When the mold is further pressed in this state, the tip of the tubular column 22 of the tack 12 is guided by the projection 16 of the anvil and expands outward, as shown in FIG. , the fabric is firmly held between the flanges 18 and 21. It will be clear that if the height of the tack 12 is chosen to be large, sufficient attachment force will be obtained even with considerable variations in the thickness of the fabric. FIG. 7 shows the swing button after the installation work has been completed. It will be clear that the oscillation is guaranteed by the stud 12.

As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to easily attach a cylindrical attachment member (tack) to clothing fabric through holes, and a swing button that always has a constant swing action can be provided, which has excellent functions and effects. is obtained.
