Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a display element for elevators with display devices arranged in a housing, which signal the operating state of the elevator car.
From the patent CH 270 934 an element can be used for switching and signaling purposes is known, which can accommodate switches, floor indicators and direction indicators in a housing. The housing is embedded in a wall recess and finished flush with a cover plate. In the case of elements which are used as direction indicators, light bulb sockets with light bulbs are provided in the housing. A glass pane bearing an arrow is inserted into a recess in the upper edge of the housing and a translucent opal glass pane is inserted into a slot in the cover plate.
A disadvantage of the known device is that complex wall recesses are necessary, which considerably increase the assembly work on site. Usually, the wall recesses must be made when the building is being built. This requires specialist personnel before actually installing the elevator on the construction site. Another disadvantage is that when a lift system is subsequently changed or modernized, for structural reasons, wall cutouts cannot be made at any point on the lift portal and only with increased effort.
Hier will die Erfindung Abhilfe schaffen. The invention seeks to remedy this. The invention as characterized in the claims solves the Task to avoid the disadvantages of the known device and to create a display element that can be mounted without a wall recess, without the aesthetic appearance of the elevator portal being adversely affected.
The advantages achieved by the invention are essentially to be seen in the fact that an arrangement of the display element that is independent of the building construction is possible and that customer and architect wishes can be better met thanks to the simple assembly of the display element. Another advantage is that the display element offers extensive protection against unauthorized opening.
