Description

The invention relates to a display element for elevators with display devices arranged in a housing, which signal the operating state of the elevator car.

From the patent CH 270 934 an element can be used for switching and signaling purposes is known, which can accommodate switches, floor indicators and direction indicators in a housing. The housing is embedded in a wall recess and finished flush with a cover plate. In the case of elements which are used as direction indicators, light bulb sockets with light bulbs are provided in the housing. A glass pane bearing an arrow is inserted into a recess in the upper edge of the housing and a translucent opal glass pane is inserted into a slot in the cover plate.

A disadvantage of the known device is that complex wall recesses are necessary, which considerably increase the assembly work on site. Usually, the wall recesses must be made when the building is being built. This requires specialist personnel before actually installing the elevator on the construction site. Another disadvantage is that when a lift system is subsequently changed or modernized, for structural reasons, wall cutouts cannot be made at any point on the lift portal and only with increased effort.

Hier will die Erfindung Abhilfe schaffen. The invention seeks to remedy this. The invention as characterized in the claims solves the Task to avoid the disadvantages of the known device and to create a display element that can be mounted without a wall recess, without the aesthetic appearance of the elevator portal being adversely affected.

The advantages achieved by the invention are essentially to be seen in the fact that an arrangement of the display element that is independent of the building construction is possible and that customer and architect wishes can be better met thanks to the simple assembly of the display element. Another advantage is that the display element offers extensive protection against unauthorized opening.

Eine an der Grundplatte 3 angeordnete Isolierplatte 13 schützt die gedruckte Schaltung 12 vor Kurzschlüssen.1 to 6, 1 denotes a wall on which a base plate 3 with ends 4 bent up on the narrow sides is mounted by means of fastening screws 2. On the lower narrow side of a housing 5 open on the wall, bolts 6 are arranged which connect the housing 5 to the lower bent end 4. On the upper narrow side of the housing 5, set screws 7 connect the housing 5 to the upper bent end 4 of the base plate 3. T denotes the depth of the housing 5 or the protrusion of the housing 5 from the wall 1. At the front, the housing 5 has an opening into which a filter plate 8 is inserted. On the front inside of the housing 5 near the opening, threaded bolts 9 hold tabs 10 on a lens carrier 11, which is pressed onto the filter plate 8 by means of nuts on the front. On the back, a black printed circuit 12 placed on the lens carrier 11 closes off the lens carrier 11. An insulating plate 13 arranged on the base plate 3 protects the printed circuit 12 from short circuits.

The lens carrier 11 consists of a carrier frame 14 with the tabs 10 and a black carrier wall 15 on the front. In the carrier wall 15, symbol-dependent lenses 16 are embedded in the form, which are encompassed on the back of the carrier wall 15 by projecting lens housings 17. On the back, the lens carrier 11 is closed off by the printed circuit 12, which is held by carrier bolts 19 of the lens carrier 11 which engage in bores 18. The connecting wires 20 provided for controlling the circuits arranged on the printed circuit 12 leave the closed lens carrier 11 via a cutout 21.

In the present embodiment variant, light-emitting diodes 22 connected in series are arranged on the printed circuit 12 in an arrow shape and are electrically connected to one another by means of conductor tracks 23. A first connecting wire 20 controls the upward arrowhead and the arrow bar, a second connecting wire 20 controls the downward arrowhead and the arrow bar. A third connecting wire 20 serves as a common return conductor. When the lens holder 11 is closed, the light-emitting diodes 22 dip into the lens housing 17, so that the diode light is bundled outward by the lenses 16 and passed on to the filter plate 8.
