Claims (11)

  1. Fire-resistant device for ensuring the passage through a separating wall between two areas of an installation, of flexible electric power supply pipes (C) and/or cables and the like having, located in the wall, a passage (1, 21, 25) issuing onto the two faces thereof and in which are located two metallic half-sleeves (2, 3), each provided at its end outside the wall with a flap (5, 6) articulated on the corresponding half-sleeve, characterized in that the two metallic half-sleeves (2, 3) are separated by a gap (4), preventing the formation of a heat bridge, and in that the flap (5, 6) of each sleeve is a gravity closing flap provided with a composite, fire-resistant material plug (11, 12).
  2. Fire-resistant device according to claim 1, characterized in that the two half-sleeves (2, 3) are fitted in the passage (1, 25) either directly or by means of a sleeve (26) lining said passage.
  3. Fire-resistant device according to one of the claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the composite, fire-resistant material plugs (11, 12) are fixed to the sealing flaps (5, 6), each by means of a screw (38) made from a corrosion-resistant, poor heat conducting material.
  4. Fire-resistant device according to one of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that for fixing the plugs (11, 12) to the sealing flaps, there is a complimentary bonding of the plugs to the flaps.
  5. Fire-resistant device according to claim 4, characterized in that the composite, fire-resistant material is intumescent and in that with each plug is associated a guide (35, 36) for orienting the expansion of the fire-resistant material.
  6. Fire-resistant device according to claim 5, characterized in that the orientation guide is a metal plate (35) forming a reflector and having in the vicinity of the position of the temporary connecting pipes at least one cutout (36) for orienting the expansion of the fire-resistant material.
  7. Fire-resistant device according to one of the claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the ends (9, 10) of the half-sleeves (2, 3) forming seats for the sealing flaps (5, 6) are perpendicular to the axes of the half-sleeves.
  8. Fire-resistant device according to one of the claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the ends (38) of the half-sleeves (37; 40, 41) forming seats for the sealing flaps (39) are inclined with respect to the axes of the half-sleeves.
  9. Fire-resistant device according to one of the claims 1 to 8, characterized in that there are means (31, 32, 33) for locking the sealing flaps (6) in the sealing position of the half-sleeves (3) to which they are articulated.
  10. Fire-resistant device according to one of the claims 1 to 9, characterized in that a biological protection material plug (42) is located in the passage defined by the half-sleeves (40, 41).
  11. Fire-resistant device according to one of the claims 1 and 3 to 10, characterized in that it is prefabricated in a concrete block having dimensions corresponding to those of a standard bond stone, the reception passage (21) for the half-sleeves (2, 3) being made in said concrete block.
