Description

The invention relates to a conveyor system with a support rail with treads for driven support wheels of vehicles, such as hanging or standing cats or the like. With the support rail associated additional rail for the support wheels loading additional wheels.

In conveyor systems of this type according to DE-PS 47 42 43 and DE-PS 39 05 210, the additional wheels are always acted upon by springs and reach inclines and descents in the area of additional rails, so that the support wheels are additionally loaded to increase the frictional engagement will. The resilient bearing of the additional wheels increases the expenses for the cats. This is not particularly disadvantageous if only a few cats drive in a conveyor system. If, however, many cats drive in a conveyor system, the additional effort for the resilient mounting of the additional wheels has a disadvantageous effect, especially if they are only rarely used within the conveyor system, for example if there is only one incline and one slope.

The object of the invention is therefore to simplify a conveyor system of the type mentioned with many vehicles and few uphill and downhill sections. This object is achieved in that the additional rail is supported directly or indirectly on the mounting rail by means of springs. Due to the resilient mounting rail, the effort in the area of the incline and descent is increased, but the effort for the many vehicles is reduced by eliminating the resilient mounting of the additional wheels, so that overall a simplified construction results.

The additional rail is preferably arranged above the running surface of the mounting rail with brackets on a mounting structure and is formed from individual sections which are shorter than the distance between two cats which are connected to one another via a carrying beam to form a driving unit. The two cats, of which only one must have a traction motor, have rigid support rods which are oriented perpendicular to the mounting rail and have pin extensions for drilling the crossbeam. When vertical arches are retracted and extended at transitions to inclines and descents or straight lines, the height of the drive unit changes relative to the tread. This difference is compensated for by the resilient support of the additional rail, the distance to the running surface of which can decrease by approx. 10 - 20 mm. Manufacturing tolerances and wear on the idler wheels are also compensated for. The last section of the additional rail is preferably designed as an inlet or outlet bevel and at the end has a greater distance from the running surface than in the other area.

In a further embodiment of the invention, each cat is guided over guide rollers on side surfaces of the mounting rail, so that mounting rails with horizontal arches can also be used.

The sections of the additional rail are preferably connected to one another via hinge bolts guided through bores and guided with a guide web on a supporting structure, the guide web having an elongated hole for a bolt which is guided through a bore in a pressure plate for the spring consisting of an elastic ring. The pressure plate is supported by a bracket on a supporting structure that also carries the mounting rail.

The auxiliary wheel is driven by the idler wheel via frictional engagement and is mounted on a towing arm in a swinging manner. It is only pressed onto the support wheel in the area of the additional rail and increases its pressure on the running surface of the support rail and thus the frictional engagement while it is otherwise depressurized and requires no driving force.

An upper flange of a mounting rail 1 forms a tread 2 for mounting wheels 3 of cats 4, the additional wheels 5 of which are arranged offset in the direction of travel to the mounting wheels 3 and are driven by friction. The additional wheels 5 get in the area of incline and descent or in the area of acceleration or braking distances of a transport system in the area of additional rails 6 and increase the pressure of the support wheels 3 on the tread, so that large inclines can be overcome, the slope can be increased even further when using a ribbed additional rail. The additional rail 6 is formed from sections and is supported by springs 7 and brackets 8 or screws on a support structure 9, which also has brackets 8a for the mounting rail 1, on which the linkage G is transported by car doors.

Two trolleys 4, which according to FIG. 2 have rigid, downward-pointing support rods 10 for a cross-beam 11 connecting them to one another for the goods to be transported, form a driving unit. The support rods 10 protrude with pin extensions 12 through bores 13 or sleeves of the crossbeam 11, so that the cats 4 secure each other against tipping in the longitudinal direction. The pin extensions 12 and bores 13, however, allow driving through curves, each cat 4 being guided on the mounting rail 1 by means of four guide rollers 14, which are mounted crosswise on plates 15 of the mounting rods 10. Of the two cats 4 of a driving unit shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, only one has a driving motor 25 and one Provide additional wheel 5, which is articulated to the cat 4 via a towing arm 28 and a bearing pin 29. The traction motor 25 of the cat 4 is supplied with energy and control pulses via conductor lines 26 and current collectors 27.

Because of the distance between the cats 4 of a driving unit, the vertical distance between the contact surfaces of carrying wheels 3 and the additional wheels 5 arranged behind or in front of them changes continuously when driving through vertical arches, especially at entrances and exits. These fluctuations in distance are compensated for by the springs 7, on which the sections of the additional rail 6 are supported. The sections are shorter than the wheelbase of the cats 4 of a driving unit, as can be seen in FIG. 1. This allows vehicle-to-vehicle tolerances to be compensated, e.g. B. a vehicle with excess does not take the tension of a subsequent one.

Die Zusatzschienen 6 haben an den Enden Abplattungen 22 und Bohrungen 23 für Gelenkbolzen 24, wie Figur 6 zeigt, so daß zwischen den einzelnen Abschnitten kein Versatz entsteht.FIGS. 4 to 6 show the fastening of the sections of the additional rail 6 to one another and their support via the springs 7 on pressure plates 16 of the brackets 8. Each pressure plate 8, as shown in FIG. 5, has lateral cutouts 17 and a bore 18 for a bolt 19. At this end, a section of the additional rail 6 is guided at one end via a guide web 20 with an elongated hole 21. The additional rails 6 have flats 22 and bores 23 for pivot pins 24 at the ends, as shown in FIG. 6, so that there is no offset between the individual sections.

Each guide web 20 leads through the spring 7, which is designed as a ring and is made of vulcanic oil.
