Abstract

The invention relates to a lock with a locking function which is released by inserting a key card with a magnetized region. The front edge (8') of the key card (8) entrains a slide (25) which is released by magnetic tumblers (31). To obtain a simpler, in particular more reliable solution, at least one supplementary tumbler (62) which scans the profile of the key card (8) and which is displaced by the movement of the slide is provided in a region released by the magnetic tumblers (31).

Description

The invention relates to a lock with a locking function to be released by inserting a regionally magnetized key card, in which the front edge of the key card entrains a slide released by the magnetic tumbler pins.

The known locks of the aforementioned type are constructed in such a way that they have a slide having magnetic tumbler pins. Bearing recesses are provided in the slide for accommodating the tumbler pins, and the tumbler pins interact with an appropriately polarized key card. By inserting the correct key card, the magnetic tumbler pins leave a locking plate so that the slide card can be moved by means of the key card.

The object of the invention is based on the design of a lock of the type in question in a technically simple manner so that, in addition to an increased security value, a certain profile variation with regard to the key card can be realized.

The object of the invention is solved by the invention specified in claim 1.

The subclaims represent advantageous developments of the inventive solution.

As a result of such a design, a lock of the type in question is created which, in addition to an increased security value, has the advantage of a profile variation the key card brings. The key card to be inserted into the lock must not only be matched to the lock in its opening code combination, but must also have the correct profile. If the profiling is missing, the key card can be inserted, but it cannot move the slide. The supplementary tumbler, which scans the profile of the key card, in the area left free by magnetic tumbler pins stands in the way as a blocking element. The profile of the key card and the additional guard locking must therefore be coordinated. Variations are possible in the way of the design of the profiling and the supplementary element as well as the arrangement in the area left free by the magnetic tumbler pins. The configuration according to the invention makes it possible to generate superordinate key cards, with little additional effort. The tried and tested principle of magnetic tumblers, which interact with the key card, does not need to be abandoned. An advantageous further development can be seen in the fact that the supplementary tumbler is formed by a springless pin that can be controlled by the slide movement in a hole in the key card. The correctly designed key card can therefore be fully inserted into the key card slot. During the subsequent slide movement, however, the pin is inserted into the hole in the key card. So the key card represents the alternative space for the pen. When using a key card that has no hole, the control room is missing, and accordingly no slide movement can take place. Control-related advantages in the displacement of the pin result from the fact that it is tapered in a conical shape on both ends and the tapering towards the key card insertion slot interspersed with a locking plate. After inserting the key and starting to advance the slide, caused by the key card, the pin is actuated via one frusto-conical end, while the other frustoconical end is inserted into the hole in the key card. If the locking plate overlaps the pin, it must provide the necessary clearance so that the pin can push through the locking plate. In any case, the free space must be so large that the forward movement of the pin is not hindered by the locking plate. If the diameter of the magnetic tumbler pins is selected for the pin, practically every bearing recess for the magnetic tumblers can be equipped with the supplementary pin. However, this must be taken into account when designing the locking plate.

The lock case 3 is provided at the end opposite the operating handle 4 with an insertion slot 7 for a key card 8 magnetized in some areas. Furthermore, the lock case 3 accommodates a lock housing 9. The latter has a bottom part 10, a middle part 11 and a cover part 12. The half-shell-like bottom part 10 is connected to the middle part 11 by means of screws 13 entering it. These two aforementioned parts 10 and 11 are previously plugged together, starting from the central part 11 in the direction of the bottom part 10 centering feet 14 which engage in niches 15 provided for this purpose in the bottom part 10. The screws 13 serve at the same time to fix the cover part 12. Housing side walls 16, 17 extend from the latter in the card insertion direction and are provided at the end of the card insertion end with inwardly directed support tabs 18 into which the screws 13 engage. The end of the cover part 12 opposite the insertion slot 7 has a tongue 19 which engages in a recess 20 of a dome 21 of the middle part 11 when the cover part 12 is pushed onto the middle part 11. Furthermore, a rear grip is achieved at the end of the side walls 16, 17 opposite the tongue 19, for which purpose hook-shaped projections 22 and 23 of the central part 11 and cover part 12 overlap.

The bottom part 10 and the middle part 11 are then joined together at the end facing away from the insertion slot 7 by means of two further screws 24 to form a unit. While aluminum is used for the bottom part 10 and middle part 11, the cover part 12 consists of plastic. Between the cover part 12 and the middle part 11 there is also a plate-shaped slider made of plastic. 25 out. With its one broad side, the slide 25 lies on the middle part 11 on. The opposite guide surface forms a locking plate 26 made of brass, which is inserted into the cover part 12 and is immovably fixed there with laterally projecting sections 27, 28. The holes 29 of the locking plate 26 are aligned in the locking position of the lock shown in FIG. 11 with bearing recesses 30 of the slide 25 designed as through bores. Magnetic tumbler pins 31 lie in the bearing recesses 30. It is not necessary to provide a tumbler pin 31 in each bearing recess 30, since the number, the position and the polarity of the tumbler pins 31 depend on the respective opening code / combination of the lock 1.

On the other side of the locking plate 26 there is a baffle 32, also made of brass, with an anchor plate 33 opposite it. The latter is held in position by three compression springs 34. The aforementioned compression springs 34 are in turn supported on the cover part 12.

In contrast to the other components, the anchor plate 33 consists of ferromagnetic material. The armature plate 33 thus attracts the magnetic tumbler pins 31, which consequently engage in the holes 29 in the locking plate 26. In this position, the slide 25 cannot be moved out of its basic position illustrated in FIG. 11, since the engagement of the tumbler pins 31 in the locking plate 26 fixed to the housing prevents this. It would be possible to provide part of the bearing recesses 30 of the slide 25 in rotating bodies of the slide, not shown, in order to be able to change the code by rotating these rotating bodies.

Both the anchor plate 33 and the guide plate 32 connect to the insertion slot 7 of the lock case 3. Their front transverse edges 32 ', 33' are angled in opposite directions and form a gusset for the key card 8 to be inserted. The opposite broad areas of the guide plate 32 and anchor plate 33 represent the key card insertion slot 35.

A tension spring 36 serving as a return spring is fixed at one end to a cross pin 37 of the middle part 11. This cross pin 37 extends from the side of the middle part 11 opposite the slider 25 and projects into the interior of the bottom part 10. The other end of the tension spring 36 engages on a projection 39 of the slider 25 passing through a slot 38 of the middle part 11, whereby this in a basic position limited in FIG. 11 is moved. The projection 39 is also preceded by two bevelled lugs 40, 41 of the slider 25, which, like the projection 39, also pass through the middle part 11. The bevels 40 ', 41' of the lugs 40, 41 are designed to run in the same direction. They engage on obliquely angled tabs 42, 43 of a web 44 of a tongue 45 made of spring material. A central recess 46 of the same is penetrated by the nose 40.

The insert-side end of the spring tongue 45 extends between the middle part 11 and the bottom part 10 and is fixed there by means of the screws 13 which pass through the openings 47 of the spring tongue 45.

The end 48 opposite the fastening end of the spring tongue 45 is fork-shaped and engages in an annular groove 49 of an internally toothed coupling sleeve 50 a. According to the uncoupled position in FIG. 11, the coupling sleeve 50 comprises a pinion 51 which is arranged with a collar 52 of larger cross section in a bearing opening 53 of the base part 10. In the collar 52 there is a diametrical slot 54, in which a hammer head-shaped end 55 of a presser mandrel 56 is immersed. The same is non-rotatably connected to the inner turning handle 6.

A gear 57 is located opposite the pinion 51. Both the toothed pinion 51 and the toothed wheel 57 have the same toothing and are adapted to the inner toothing of the coupling sleeve 50. The gear 57 in turn is firmly connected to the external turning handle 4. To stabilize the position of the gear wheels 51, 57 a centering pin 51 'is used, which dips into a cross-sectionally adapted blind bore 57' of the gear wheel 57. The same extends within the dome 21 of the middle part 11 and lies there with a larger cross section 57 ″ in a bearing cavity 58 of the dome 21. In the uncoupled position, the coupling sleeve 50 encompasses only the pinion 51 and is accordingly not in engagement with the gear 57. A rotational displacement of the external turning handle 4 therefore does not result in entrainment of the pinion 51 and thus the trigger mandrel 56. So that the coupling sleeve 50 does not undesirably assume its basic position a compression spring D comprising the coupling sleeve 50 is provided, which is supported at one end on the inside of the dome 21 and on the other hand acts on a collar 50 'of the coupling sleeve 50.

At its narrow edges lying in the direction of displacement, the slide 25 is equipped with one stop cam 59 each. These work together with lateral spring sections 60 of the tongue 45, which spring sections with locking lugs 60 'cooperate with the stop cams 59.

A form-locking coupling can be produced between the key card 8 and the slider 25. The form-fitting coupling is formed by a pin 62 mounted in a bore 61 of the slide 25. The bore 61 is located at the mouth end of the key card slot. According to the exemplary embodiment, two such bores 61 are arranged symmetrically to the longitudinal center of the slide 25. However, only one bore 61 is equipped with a pin 62. The two ends 63, 64 of the pin 62 are conical. The total length of the pin 62 is greater than the thickness of the slider 25. The conical end 64 facing the middle part 11 engages in the end displacement position of the slider 25 in a frustoconical recess 65 of the lock housing or of the middle part 11. The depth of this recess 65 is less than the height of the conical end 64. In this rearward displacement end position, the other conical end 63 projects beyond the other broad surface of the slide 25 and projects into the key card insertion slot 35 in such a way that the conical one End 63 is supported on the anchor plate 33 by passing through a longitudinal slot 66 of the guide plate 32.

The pin 62 interacts with one of two holes 67 in the key card 8. These holes 67 are also arranged symmetrically to the longitudinal center of the key card 8. When two bores 61 and two holes 67 are arranged, the guide plate 32 must also be provided with two longitudinal slots 66 such that, depending on the use of the pin 62, the latter extends through one or the other longitudinal slot. The castle can also be designed in this way be that the key card 8 have only one hole and the slider 25 have only one bore 61. This also applies to the longitudinal slot 66 in the guide plate 32. It would be possible to provide the pin 62 at a different location on the slide 25. A variation would be conceivable in that the pin receives the diameter as the tumbler pins 31 and could accordingly also be accommodated in one of the corresponding bearing recesses 30 of the slide 25.

The following mode of action occurs. If the lock 1 is to be actuated from the outside by means of the external turning handle 4, it is necessary to insert the correspondingly coded key card 8 into the insertion slot 7. It displaces the anchor plate 33 acted upon by the compression springs 34 in the transverse direction. In the fully inserted position, the key card 8, with its insert-side end edge 8 ', comes in front of a slide stop 25' pointing in the direction of the cover part 12. In this position, the magnetic tumbler pins 31 are displaced such that they leave the holes 29 in the locking plate 26. Furthermore, the end 63 of the pin 62 facing the key card insertion slot is aligned with one of the two holes 67 in the key card. The key card 8 can now be moved further, the slide 25 being dragged against the force of the tension spring 36. During this displacement, the recess 65, in conjunction with the conical end 64, causes the pin 62 to be driven in such a way that, as illustrated in FIG. 13, it dips into the associated hole 67 in the key card 8. A key card that does not form a hole could be inserted, but the slide could not be advanced, since there is no space for pin 62 to escape.

In the forward position, the latching lugs 60 'of the spring sections 60 engage behind the stop cams 59 of the slide 25 and hold it in the forward position. Along with the forward displacement of the slide 25, the web 44 was acted upon by the bevel 40 'of the nose 40 and the spring tongue 45 was pivoted about its clamping points. Since the free, forked end 48 of the tongue 45 is in engagement with the coupling sleeve 50, this is displaced such that it then also overlaps the gear 57. Since both gears 51, 57 are now encompassed by the coupling sleeve 50, the lock 1 can be actuated by means of the external turning handle 4. It is not possible for the key card to be removable in the coupling position in such a way that the lock remains in the coupling position. When the key card 8 is withdrawn, the slider 25 is inevitably moved into the final displacement position via the pin 62 which has entered the key card. It thereby comes into alignment with the recess 65 and thus allows the key card to be removed completely. During the card withdrawal movement, the detent between the stop cams 59 and the detents 60 'of the spring tongue 45 was overcome, such that the starting position is again present. The coupling sleeve 50 was also returned by the fact that the other nose 41 acts with its inclined surface 41 'on the tab 43 of the web 44 and thus also returns the spring tongue 45 to its end position.

Furthermore, electrical switches 68, 69, 70, 71 are fixed to the lock housing 9, which in turn are actuated by the slide 25. The control of the electrical switches is, however, not essential to the invention, so that these are not discussed further.
