  • the protrusions 14p and 15p are shaped to be received within the corresponding notches or indentations 21n and 22n formed in the lower portions of the sidewalls 21 and 22 of the slider 10.
  • the notches 21n and 22n are formed in the opposed vertical surfaces of the shoulders 21c and 22c.
  • the ends of the notches 21n and 22n are flared at the opening end 10a of the slider 10, Fig. 3, to provide a funnel shaped opening to permit the protrusions 14p and 15p to enter the notches 21n and 22n as the slider 10 moves to the closed end of the fastener 11, Figs. 2 and 3.
  • the protrusions 14p and 15p are spaced with respect to the closed end of the fastener 11 so that when the slider 10 reaches the end of its travel on the fastener 11 in the closing direction, the protrusions 14p and 15p will be received in the notches or indentations 21n and 22n. This gives the user of the bag assurance that the bag is closed with certainty. If the fastener 11 is not provided with end stops the cooperating protrusions and notches will serve to keep the slider from going past the closed end of the fastener and coming off of the bag.
  • the opposite ends of the fastener 11 may be provided with end stops 30 formed from the material at the opposite ends of the fastener 11 and protrude from the fastener a distance adequate to engage the slider 10 to prevent the slider from going past the respective ends of the fastener and coming off of the bag.
  • end stops 30 When the fastener 11 is provided with end stops 30 the protrusions 14p and 15p are spaced with respect to the closed end stop 30 of the fastener 11 so that when the slider 10 reaches the end of its travel on the fastener 11 in the closing direction, the protrusions 14p and 15p will be received in the notches or indentations 21n or 22n.
  • cooperating detent structure While one type of cooperating detent structure has been described and illustrated in respect to the slider and the plastic strips, it is to be understood that other cooperating detent structure may be utilised for performing the same function, namely providing the user of the bag with the feel of a secure closure.
  • the protrusions and indentations disclosed herein for providing the cooperating detent structure may be positioned at other locations than those shown.

Claims (5)

  1. Verschlußaufbau für einen Beutel (B) aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff, mit einem flexiblen Kunststoffleistenpaar (14, 15), das eine trennbare Verschlußeinrichtung aufweist die sich entlang dessen Länge erstreckt und wiederverschließbare Steck- und Aufnahmeprofilelemente (16, 17) an den entsprechenden Leisten (14, 15) umfaßt, wobei die Steck- und Aufnahmeprofilelemente (16, 17) eine komplementäre Querschnittsform derart aufweisen, daß sie durch Zusammenpressen dieser Elemente (16, 17) geschlossen werden, einem Schieber (10), der in gespreizt aufsitzender Weise auf den Leisten (14, 15) zum Schließen der wiederverschließbaren Steck- und Aufnahmeprofilelemente (16, 17) aufsitzt, und Einrichtungen zum Halten des Schiebers (10) in geschlossener Stellung, wenn der Schieber (10) das geschlossene Ende seines Wegs entlang der Kunststoffleisten (14, 15) erreicht,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß die Einrichtungen einen zusammenwirkenden Hakenaufbau an dem Schieber und zumindest an einem der Kunststoffleisten (14, 15) umfassen, wobei der Hakenaufbau von den Steck- und Aufnahmeprofilelementen (16, 17) beabstandet ist und in Eingriff bringbar ist, wenn der Schieber (10) an seinem geschlossenen Ende seines Weges auf den Kunststoffleisten (14, 15) sich befindet.
  2. Verschlußaufbau gemäß Anspruch 1, worin der zusammenwirkende Hakenaufbau einen Aussparungsaufbau (21n, 22n) an dem Schieber (10) aufweist und zusammenwirkende Vorsprünge (14p, 15p) an zumindestens einer der Kunststoffleisten (14, 15) umfaßt.
  3. Verschlußaufbau gemäß Anspruch 2, worin ein Paar von den Aussparungen (21n, 22n) an dem Schieber (10) zum Zusammenwirken mit Vorsprüngen (14p, 15p) an beiden Kunststoffleisten (14, 15) vorgesehen ist.
  4. Verschlußaufbau gemäß Anspruch 1, 2 oder 3, worin der Schieber (10) aus Kunststoff hergestellt ist.
  5. Beutel (B) aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff mit einem Paar einander zugewandter Seitenwände (12, 13), die einen Öffnungsmund an einem Ende des Beutels begrenzen, und einem Verschlußaufbau gemäß einem der vorangegangenen Ansprüche, der entlang des Verschlußmundes zum Öffnen und Schließen des Verschlußmundes angeordnet ist.
