Erfindungsgemäß ist es von Bedeutung, daß es aufgrund der auf dem Außenumfang des Innenrohres eingebrachten und aufeinanderfolgend angeordneten, kegelstumpfförmig ausgebildeten Rasten und aus am freien Ende des Außenrohres angeordneten, in die Rastungen zwangsweise kraft- und formschlüssig eingreifenden Sperrklinken, es möglich ist, den Rundbreithalter von einem großen Durchmesser auf einen kleinen Durchmesser kontinuierlich zu verstellen und in jeder Durchmesserposition eine sichere Verriegelung gegen eine Rückstellung im Sinne einer Durchmesservergrößerung gegeben ist.
Dies erfolgt dadurch, daß einerseits die Rastungen des Innenrohres und die Sperrklinken ratschenartig ineinandergreifen und damit der Verstellweg des Breithalters im Sinne einer Durchmesserverringerung gegeben ist. Andererseits ist es nicht ohne weiteres möglich, aufgrund der mit dem kraft- und formschlüssig zusammenwirkenden Sperrklinken, die den Rastungen gegenüber spiegelbildlich gestaltete Ausnehmungen aufweisen, daß sich der Rundbreithalter ungewollt von einem kleinen Durchmesser auf einen größeren Durchmesser verstellt. Dies wird durch die Sperrklinken vollständig, im Gegensatz zu der als bekannt aufgeführten Klemmvorrichtung, verhindert.

Dadurch ist das Innenrohr axial im Außenrohr verschiebbar und eine Verstellung des Breithalters von einem größeren Durchmesser auf einen kleineren Durchmesser ist nunmehr möglich.
Die Verstellung des Rundbreithalters erfolgt nun dadurch, daß gem. der DE-PS 37 32 754 das gesamte Kopfteil mittels einer Hubvorrichtung vertikal nach oben oder unten bewegbar ist.
Die Gewindestange bzw. das die Gewindestange verlängernde weitere Zugseil ist an einem oberen Lagerteil, welches über ein längenverstellbares Verbindungselement mit dem Kopfteil in Verbindung steht, verbunden. Die Verbindung mit dem Kopfteil erfolgt hierbei über einen Kopfstück-Rahmen.

Wie in den Figuren 1 bis 5 dargestellt, besteht der Rundbreithalter 1 aus zwei teleskopartig ineinander verschiebbaren Trägerelementen, wobei jedes Trägerelement als Rohr 2,3 ausgebildet ist und das Rohr 3 mit einem kleineren Außendurchmesser als der Innendurchmesser des Rohres 2 in das Rohr 2 eingeschoben ist.
Das Rohr 3 ist gem. Fig. 1 an seinem unteren Teil mit einem Schwimmkörper 4 verbunden. Auf dem Außenumfang des Rohres 3 sind, an dem freien Ende beginnend, aufeinanderfolgend angeordnete, kegelstumpfförmig ausgebildete Rastungen 5 eingebracht. In diese Rastungen 5 greifen Sperrklinken 6 ein, die über Zugfedern 7 die Sperrklinken 6 kraft- und formschlüssig mit den Rastungen 5 verbinden.
Die Rastungen 5 selbst sind auf einer Länge des Rohres 3 angeordnet, die mindestens dem Maß der maximalen Breitenverstellung des Rundbreithalters 1 äquivalent ist.
Aus Fig. 3 wird deutlich, daß jede der Sperrklinken 6 an einem mit dem freien Ende des Rohres 2 starr verbundenen Arm 8 schwenkbar um einen Drehpunkt 9 angelenkt ist. Jeder Arm 8 nimmt an seinem freien Ende eine drehend gelagerte Umlenkrolle 10 auf.
Die die jeweilige Sperrklinke 6 tragenden Arme 8 sind in Richtung des Schwimmkörpers 4 des Rundbreithalters in einem spitzen Winkel zur Längsachse 20 des Rohres 2 angeordnet.
Gleichzeitig sind die Arme 8 um 180° zueinander versetzt mit dem Außenumfang des Rohres 2 verbunden.
Es ist natürlich denkbar, daß weitere Arme 8 und damit weitere Sperrklinken 6, die vorzugsweise um 90° zueinander versetzt angeordnet sind, mit den Rastungen 5 in Eingriff gebracht werden können. Eine derartige Anordnung würde zu einer symmetrischeren Kraftverteilung auf die Rastungen 5 beitragen.

Die Gewindestange 22 ihrerseits steht direkt oder über ein Zugseil 23 (Fig. 7) indirekt mit dem Kopfteil 15 des Breithalters 1 in Wirkverbindung.
Zur Begrenzung der Schwenkbewegung der Sperrklinke 6 während der Entriegelung des Rohres 3, sind an den Armen 8 arretierbare Begrenzungsschrauben 24 vorgesehen.

In einer nicht näher dargestellten Weise sind hierbei im Sinne der Beschreibung des deutschen Patentes 37 32 754 die Fixierwalzen 35 drehbar auf einer Welle gelagert, welche Welle jeweils stirnseitig mit einem Rahmenteil verbunden ist, welches seinerseits an Hubspindeln befestigt ist, so daß dieses gesamte Rahmenteil zusammen mit den Fixierwalzen 35 in Längsrichtung des Rundbreithalters auf und ab verstellbar ausgebildet ist.

Die Verbindung zwischen der Platte 38 und dem Anschlagsteg 39 erfolgt nun über das besagte längenverstellbare Verbindungselement 32.
Es besteht im wesentlichen aus zwei parallel zueinander im Abstand angeordneten Führungsbolzen 40, die einerseits eine Durchgangsbohrung 41 in der oberen Platte 38 durchgreifen und andererseits mit ihrem bolzenseitigen Ende im Anschlagsteg 39 des unteren Kopfstück-Rahmens 30 eingeschweißt sind.
Durch Einstellung der Muttern 42 auf dem Führungsbolzen 40 kann damit der Abstand zwischen der Platte 38 und dem Anschlagsteg 39 eingestellt werden. Das Zugseil 23 ist mit seinem oberen Ende fest mit dem bolzenseitigen Ende des Gewindebolzens 43 verbunden, wobei dieser Gewindebolzen durch eine Durchgangsbohrung 44 in den unteren Anschlagsteg 39 greift.
Der Gewindebolzen 43 sitzt über Muttern 45 fixiert in einer Durchgangsbohrung 46 in der oberen Platte 38.
Durch Einstellung der Muttern 45 auf dem Gewindebolzen 43 kann damit die Zugspannung des Zugseiles 23 eingestellt werden.

In der Verschiebestellung ergibt sich ein relativ großer Spalt zwischen der Lauffläche der Fixierwalze 35 und der zugeordneten konvexen Lauffläche der Stützrolle 31.
In dieser Stellung ist das Seil 23 gespannt und die Laufflächen der ebenfalls konvex ausgebildeten Gegenrollen 34 liegen an den zugeordneten Laufflächen der Fixierwalzen 35 an.
In dieser Stellung wird das gesamte Kopfteil 15 nach oben verfahren, wobei Zugkraft auf das Zugseil 23 ausgeübt wird und sich die Sperrvorrichtung öffnet. Dadurch können also die teleskopartig ineinander geschobenen Rohre 2,3 leicht auseinandergezogen werden.
Sobald das Ende der Verschiebebewegung erreicht ist, wird der Verschiebeantrieb zum Verschieben der Fixierwalzen 35 in Pfeilrichtung 36 nach oben kurzzeitig umgeschaltet, so daß der gesamte Antrieb kurzzeitig in Pfeilrichtung 37 nach unten angetrieben wird, wodurch das Verbindungselement 32 um den Abstand 47 zusammengefahren wird. Der Abstand 47 -in Fig. 9- geht deshalb gegen Null, wie in
Fig. 7 dargestellt, so daß jetzt die Sperrvorrichtung ihre Sperrstellung gem. Fig. 5 einnimmt.
Aufgrund der Abstandseinstellung mit den Gewindebolzen 40 und den dazugehörenden Gewindemuttern 42 wird nun ein genau definierter Abstand zwischen der Platte 38 und dem Anschlagsteg 39 eingestellt, so daß hierdurch gewährleistet wird, daß sich ein genau definierter Spalt 48 zwischen der Lauffläche der Fixierwalze 35 und der Lauffläche der Stützrolle 31 ergibt.
Dadurch wird mit Sicherheit ein unzulässiges Einklemmen der Ware 28 auch bei stärksten Gegen kräften auf die Abstützarme verhindert.
Der definierte Spalt 48 wird also stets aufrechterhalten, weil in dieser Stellung die Sperrvorrichtung bereits schon in Tätigkeit getreten ist.
Wenn jetzt eine Zugkraft von der Ware 28 radial einwärts auf die Abstützarme 26 ausgeübt wird, kann trotzdem nicht der Spalt 48 weiter verkleinert werden, weil in dieser Stellung die Verriegelung des Rohres3 gem. Fig. 5 erfolgt ist.

Claims (7)

  1.     a) the central carrier (T) of the expander is subdivided into two tubes (2,3) which may be displaced in relation to one another in a telescope-like manner in the longitudinal direction, and the supports (26), which may be spread out, are articulated on the tubes (2,3) and form a connection to the longitudinal elements (27) which are together associated with the two tubes (2,3), the supports (26) respectively associated with the two tubes (2,3) having an inclination opposite to one another,

  2. Circular expander according to Claim 1, characterised in that the catches (5) are disposed on a length of the tube (3) which is at least equivalent to the dimension of the maximum width displacement of the expander 1.
  3. Circular expander according to Claim 1, characterised in that the detents (6) are articulated on a bearing arm (8), which is rigidly connected to the free end of the tube (2) and which accommodates, at its free end, a rotatably mounted deflector roller (10).
  4. Circular expander according to Claim 3, characterised in that the bearing arms (8) point in the direction of a floating body (4) connected to the tube (3) and are disposed at an acute angle α to the longitudinal axis (20) of the tube (2).
  5. Circular expander according to Claim 1 characterised in that the detents (6) have recesses (12) which correspond to the catches (5).
  6. Circular expander according to Claim 1, characterised in that the detents (6) are equipped with a draw arm (11), provided on either side of each detent (6), and the draw arms (11) are connected to one another via a draw spring (7).
  7. Circular expander according to Claim 1, characterised in that the means provided to effect the unlocking of the tube (3) comprise, in each case, a draw cable (13) which is connected to each detent (6) and guided via a respective deflector roller (10), and a clamping plate (16) connected to the upper bearing part of the headpiece (15) via an intermediate part (21), and via a threaded rod (22).
