Abstract

Locking devices for shaft lift doors having at least one door leaf (1), on which is arranged a door-leaf bolt (9) engaging into a receptacle attached to a further door leaf or to a closing edge (8), prevent an unauthorised opening of the lift doors. However, despite the lock, the door leaf can still be spread open considerably, especially at a door-leaf end distant from the door-leaf bolt. Moreover, if the door-leaf bolt is defective, the locking of the lift doors fails completely. In order to guarantee the locking of the lift doors, even in the event of attempts to open it by force or of a defective door-leaf bolt, there is a second door-leaf bolt (10) which is arranged on the door leaf (1) at a vertical distance from the first door-leaf bolt (9) and which is connected motionally to this via a coupling member (15). <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a locking device for a shaft elevator door with at least one door leaf, on which a door leaf bolt is arranged, which engages in a receptacle attached to a further door leaf or a closing edge. Such known devices prevent unauthorized opening of the elevator doors, for example when the car is in the areas between individual floors. It proves to be disadvantageous that the door leaf or leaves, in particular at a door leaf end that is far from the door leaf bolt, can still be spread considerably despite the locking. Furthermore, if the door leaf latch is defective, the elevator door is not locked completely.

The object of the invention is therefore to develop a device of the type mentioned in the introduction so that the locking of the elevator door is ensured even in the event of violent opening attempts or a defective door leaf latch.

To achieve this object, a second door leaf latch is proposed according to the invention, which is arranged on the door leaf at a vertical distance from the first door leaf latch and is movably connected to it via a coupling member. When the door is closed, the door leaf (s) are now locked in two places. This makes it difficult to spread the door open. Due to the movement coupling of the two door leaf latches, one drive for one door leaf latch is sufficient to move both. Thus, the subject matter of the present invention can be easily installed instead of already known locking devices. Even if there is insufficient locking due to a defective door leaf bolt or a defective receptacle, the elevator door still remains closed due to the second door leaf bolt.

A particularly preferred embodiment of the invention consists in that one door leaf latch is arranged on the upper part of the door leaf and the other on the lower part of the door leaf. In this way, attempts to expand the door leaf ends can be countered particularly successfully. A further development of the invention provides that the door leaf latch is designed as a hook bolt and on the door leaf are pivoted and reach behind the other door leaf or the closing edge. This constructive design of the door leaf bolt enables the elevator door to be locked in a simple but effective manner.

In the event of a drive failure of a door leaf bolt or a failure of the coupling link, the elevator door must still be locked. Therefore, a further embodiment of the invention provides that each door leaf latch is spring-loaded in the locking direction, so that the latter automatically pivot into their locked position in the event of failure of one of the aforementioned parts. So that the door can also be opened from the outside in an emergency, a further expedient measure provides that an actuating member for the door leaf latch for emergency unlocking is provided on the inside of the door leaf. In order to avoid injury to persons when getting in and out of the elevator, it is also very advantageous that at least the door leaf bolt arranged on the lower part of the door leaf is completely covered by the door leaf in its inactive end position. The door leaf latch does not protrude beyond the door leaf in the end position mentioned.

Furthermore, there is a freewheel between the upper door leaf latch and the coupling element which actuates the lower door leaf latch. The effect of this is that only bolt movements originating from the upper door leaf latch are transmitted to the lower door leaf latch will, conversely, bolt movements that originate from the lower door leaf latch will not affect the upper position. This prevents the case that an inadmissible unlocking of the lower door leaf bolt from the outside simultaneously unlocks the upper bolt and the door could thus be opened.

The drawing shows an embodiment of the invention. They represent:
Fig. 1
A view of an elevator door with a door leaf in the locked position,
Fig. 2
a representation of FIG. 1 in the open position.

The elevator door consists of a door leaf 1, which is slidably mounted on a guide 5 by means of two suspension devices 2 with rollers 3 and counter rollers 4. A locking device 6 is arranged on the door leaf 1, which interacts with a closing edge 8 attached to a side wall 7 of the elevator.

The locking device 6 has an upper 9 and a lower door leaf latch 10. The upper door leaf latch 9 is located on the upper part 11 of the door leaf 1, while the lower door leaf latch 10 is arranged on the lower part 12 thereof. Both door leaf latches 9, 10 are designed as hook bolts, are pivotably mounted at pivot points 13, 14 and engage behind the closing edge 8 when the elevator door is closed. Both door leaf bolts 9, 10 are connected to one another in terms of movement via a coupling member 15. Between the coupling member 15 and the upper door leaf bolt 9 there is an additional freewheel 23 which transmits the movement of the upper door leaf bolt 9 to the lower door leaf bolt 10, but does not transmit a movement of the lower door leaf bolt 10 to the upper door leaf bolt 9. For the two door leaf latches 9, 10, an actuating member 16 is provided for emergency unlocking, which is arranged on the door leaf 1 and unlocked by means of a tension member 17 fastened to the upper door leaf latch 9 by turning in the direction of the arrow 18. In order to ensure the unlocking in the event of a failure of the coupling member 15, the lower door leaf latch 10 is spring-loaded in the unlocking direction 20 1 is covered. When people get in and out of the elevator, nobody can get caught on the lower door leaf latch 10, which prevents injuries to people or damage to clothing.

To unlock the elevator door, the upper door leaf bolt 9 is pivoted in the unlocking direction 19 by means of a drive (not shown in more detail). As a result, the lower one is unlocked simultaneously via the freewheel 23 and the coupling member 15 Door leaf bolt 10 in the unlocking direction 20. To lock the elevator door, the two door leaf bolts 9, 10 are pivoted counter to the unlocking direction 19, 20. The elevator door is then locked in two places, so that spreading open the door leaf 1 is made considerably more difficult. If a door leaf latch fails, the door still remains closed due to the second door leaf latch. This ensures a fairly secure locking of the elevator door.
