These and other drawbacks are eliminated by the structure according to the invention.

  • connection region 13 in correspondence of the rear end of the base i.e. in correspondence of the appendixes 19 is reinforced by an additional component 23 which has the same shaping as the lower part of the box-like structure 11, 13, 11, of the appendixes 19 and of the slot 21 as well, so as to reinforce the base end and the appendix 19; this reinforcement prevents deformations and, in particular, widenings of the slots 21 which are stressed also in horizontal direction by the uprights.

  • the weight of the goods placed on the shelving is transmitted by the uprights 3, in particular to the rear feet; the latter are engaged in correspondence of the stiffeners 23 and, more particularly in correspondence of the thicknesses of the connection 13 and of the stiffener 23; in this area the resistance is higher than that offered by the thickness of the sheet forming the base alone.
