Definitions
- the present invention relates to a method for firmly shaping hair.
- FR-A-1 076 788 has disclosed a method for firmly shaping hair, according to which the curling of the hair is accelerated by hot air after the application of a permanent wave agent.
- This known method requires a relatively large amount of time, inter alia due to the fact that the hairs or strands of hair placed in a given treatment form for heat treatment are exposed to air currents in very different ways, so that no uniform exposure to the hair occurs in the longitudinal direction thereof , with the result that the duration is determined by the slowest drying sections of the hair. Conversely, those sections of the hair that dry first are adversely affected by the continued supply of the hot air streams. Since drying must be carried out with heated air (drying hood 60 ° C, hair dryer 130 ° C), the scalp and hair dry out.
- the advantages achieved by the invention are essentially to be seen in the fact that the hair containing the permanent wave agent is acted upon uniformly by warm air flows in such a way that larger curls than previously can be achieved.
- the single figure shows purely schematically an example of an apparatus for performing the method.
- the hair which may have been washed, is placed strand by strand in a treatment form which depends on the final shape of the hair.
- a permanent wave agent is then applied.
- the hair is wound on a hollow cylinder, the diameter of the hollow cylinder being chosen to be larger or smaller depending on whether larger or smaller waves are to be formed.
- the hair provided with the permanent wave agent is ventilated by hot air jets and in particular in such a way that the hair is acted upon by the hot air from the hair tip area to the hairline area.
- the temperature of the warm air is a maximum of 45 ° C, advantageously 40-42 ° C to prevent drying out of individual hair sections or the scalp.
- the duration of this ventilation is 5-20 minutes.
- the figure shows a device for carrying out the ventilation with in particular a carrier for the hair to be wrapped thereon.
- the carrier has a central section 1 in the form of a hollow cylinder on which the hair is wound.
- This hollow cylinder 1 has through holes 2 in its jacket wall.
- the hollow cylinder 1 is closed on both sides by end flanges 3, 4.
- both end flanges 3, 4 are designed as hollow bodies, although only one, for example the one on the left, can be a hollow body for carrying out the method.
- This carrier is further connected via a flexible air supply hose 9 to a device 10 for generating the warm air.
- several such carriers are used per person, which are connected to a common device 10 and the diameter of the hollow cylinder and possibly its circumferential shape depend on the desired shape of the permanent waves to be produced.
- the permanent wave agent is rinsed out of the hair with water after the warm air treatment and a neutralizing agent is applied. If necessary or desired, the hair is then dried to a greater or lesser extent and the straps are then unwound.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for firmly shaping hair.
It is generally known to stretch natural frills using suitable agents or liquids, to frizzy frizzy hair to a desired wave size and also to lay straight hair in waves of different wave sizes, i.e. Generate perms.
Dadurch ist auch der Grösse der erzeugten Locken eine Grenze gesetzt.FR-A-1 076 788 has disclosed a method for firmly shaping hair, according to which the curling of the hair is accelerated by hot air after the application of a permanent wave agent. This known method requires a relatively large amount of time, inter alia due to the fact that the hairs or strands of hair placed in a given treatment form for heat treatment are exposed to air currents in very different ways, so that no uniform exposure to the hair occurs in the longitudinal direction thereof , with the result that the duration is determined by the slowest drying sections of the hair. Conversely, those sections of the hair that dry first are adversely affected by the continued supply of the hot air streams. Since drying must be carried out with heated air (drying hood 60 ° C, hair dryer 130 ° C), the scalp and hair dry out. These disadvantages can be seen in particular when one realizes that the strands of hair, for example for the production of perms, are wound on coils, the hair tip areas being in the lowest part of the coil and being shielded from the hot air supplied by the layers of hair above them. This also places a limit on the size of the curls produced.
Furthermore, a method for drying hair rolled up on curlers by means of warm air flows is known from CH-A-634 974. In view of the disadvantages mentioned, the invention seeks to remedy the situation. The invention as characterized in the claim solves the task of creating a method for firm hair styling, which is faster, easier and gentler on the hair than previous methods, and by means of which larger natural curls than ever achieved can be produced.
The advantages achieved by the invention are essentially to be seen in the fact that the hair containing the permanent wave agent is acted upon uniformly by warm air flows in such a way that larger curls than previously can be achieved.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to a drawing which represents only one embodiment.
The single figure shows purely schematically an example of an apparatus for performing the method.
In the following exemplary description it is assumed that permanent waves are to be generated. The hair, which may have been washed, is placed strand by strand in a treatment form which depends on the final shape of the hair. A permanent wave agent is then applied. To produce permanent waves, the hair is wound on a hollow cylinder, the diameter of the hollow cylinder being chosen to be larger or smaller depending on whether larger or smaller waves are to be formed. Then the hair provided with the permanent wave agent is ventilated by hot air jets and in particular in such a way that the hair is acted upon by the hot air from the hair tip area to the hairline area. The temperature of the warm air is a maximum of 45 ° C, advantageously 40-42 ° C to prevent drying out of individual hair sections or the scalp. The duration of this ventilation is 5-20 minutes.
The figure shows a device for carrying out the ventilation with in particular a carrier for the hair to be wrapped thereon. The carrier has a
It can now be seen that the hair tip areas of the hair wrapped thereon, which are directly resting on the jacket of the
Returning to the procedure, the permanent wave agent is rinsed out of the hair with water after the warm air treatment and a neutralizing agent is applied. If necessary or desired, the hair is then dried to a greater or lesser extent and the straps are then unwound.
As stated at the beginning, this method is faster, easier and gentler than any previous method.
Furthermore, in the practice of this method, as has been established in practical tests, perms can be produced with curls that are much larger than was previously possible, or was considered to be possible.
