Abstract

In a method of shaping a lock of hair into a spiral form, the lock of hair is wound spirally over a rod-shaped carrier, and the lock of hair and the carrier are surrounded by a covering, whereafter the lock of hair is treated, e.g. by heat and/or spraying and/or coating, the carrier and covering then being removed from the fixed lock of hair. An apparatus for the performance of the method comprises a rod-shaped carrier 2 to which is detachably connected a flexible band 3 capable of being wrapped round the carrier and the lock of hair spirally wound thereon. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Herstellen von spiralförmi gen Haarlocken und ein Gerät zum Durchführen dieses Verfahrens.The invention relates to a method for producing spiral-shaped hair curls and a device for performing this procedure.

Es sind schon bisher Verfahren und Vorrichtungen zum Herstellen spirali ger Haarlocken verwendet worden, die jedoch den gestellten An forderungen nicht gerecht wurden. So wurden z. B. Dabei ergab sich, daß die in Haarlocken stets vorhandenen kürzeren Haare nur teilweise spiralförmig aufge wickelt werden und die Enden von der Locke abstehen und somit ein un schönes Ergebnis ergeben. Weiters mußten bei derartigen Locken wicklern immer Zusatzteile herangezogen werden, um die Spitze der Haarlocke sowie den Anfang der Haarlocke am Lockenwickler zu be festigen. Derartige Befestigungsmittel waren z. B. Klammern, Nadeln, Gummiringe etc. Weiters war es bei derartigen Lockenwicklern in nach teiliger Weise notwendig, für jede Haarlänge und für verschiedene Lockenarten verschiedene Längen und Durchmesser der Lockenwickler vorzusehen, was die Anwendung kompliziert machte und verteuerte.
