Da die bewegten Massen sehr klein sind, wird eine sehr hohe Reaktionsschnelligkeit sichergestellt, was eine hohe Arbeitsgeschwindigkeit erlaubt. Außerdem wird hier kein Regelkreis benötigt, was ein Schwingen oder Aufschaukeln ausschließt und was Meßfühler und sonstige zusätzliche Steuer- und Regeleinrichtungen überflüssig macht. Der technische Aufwand bleibt also begrenzt, wozu noch weiter beiträgt, daß allein der Rollenhalter der Drückmaschine modifiziert werden muß, während in allen übrigen Teilen die Drückmaschine sowie das Steuerprogramm völlig unverändert beibehalten werden können. Hierdurch eignet sich die Erfindung auch für die Nachrüstung vorhandener Drückmaschinen, weil lediglich ein Austausch des Rollenhalters erforderlich wird. Eine Druckmediumquelle, z.B. für Druckluft oder Hydraulikflüssigkeit, ist im allgemeinen ohnehin vorhanden, so daß auch hierfür, abgesehen von einer eventuell noch erforderlichen Druckregeleinheit, kein großer zusätzlicher Aufwand entsteht. Dies wird bei dem Rollenhalter 1 dadurch vermieden, daß die von der Drückrolle 10 auf das Werkstück 11 ausübbare Kraft begrenzt wird. Die von der Drückrolle 10 auf das Werkstück ausgeübte Kraft 11 wird nämlich hier allein durch den im Inneren des Zylinders 20 herrschenden Druck des Druckmediums bestimmt, der in weiten Grenzen regelbar ist. Claims (10)

  1.     - that by a force exerted on roller (10) by the workpiece (11) and exceeding the extending force of the piston (30), the roller (10) can be made to yield dynamically and with resilience, with displacement of pressure medium from the cylinder (20) into the pressure medium source of supply which can be kept at a predetermined pressure.
  2. Metal spinning machine according to claim 1, characterized in that the roller holder (1) is configured with a low-friction, snug-fitting and twist-resistant guide, a plunger (34) guided in the guide body (24), while a guide body (24) is associated with the fixed holder part (2) and a plunger carried in the guide body (24) is associated with the displaceable holder part (3), and the plunger (34) serving as a piston rod is joined at its one, inner end to the piston (30) and bears the roller (10) on its other, outer end.
