Abstract
Description
The invention relates to flat packaging for elongated objects, in particular for tools such as spiral or taps, with a strip-shaped presentation card on which the object or objects is or are detachably connected by at least partially removable holding means.
Such flat packs are commercially available, for example, as so-called blister packs, which, although they have the advantage of accommodating the packaged item, including any accessories, in such a way that unauthorized removal of individual parts is difficult, but in any case is readily recognizable. On the other hand, these are packs Exclusive disposable packaging, so after opening it for the first time it is no longer suitable for picking up the item originally housed in it.
The invention has for its object to provide a flat packaging of the type mentioned, which, even after the first removal of the objects accommodated therein, offers the possibility of accommodating them again for storage in or on the pack.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the holding means comprise at least two holding strips which protrude from the presentation card essentially perpendicular and parallel to one another and which each form a receptacle for each of the objects, the receptacles being limited in the axial direction by stop parts, and that the holding means further comprise a covering part which overlaps the holding strips.
The advantage achieved by the invention consists essentially in the fact that the objects are arranged in the receptacles formed by the holding strips on the one hand and the stop parts on the other and are initially held in the receptacles by the covering part which overlaps the holding strips. After the cover part has been removed, there is then the possibility of taking the objects out of the receptacles without difficulty and returning them to them after their use.
The stop parts can be formed here by webs which protrude perpendicularly from the presentation card and are aligned transversely to the holding strips.
It is further provided in the context of the invention that the holding strips are provided with at least one parting line which runs transversely to their longitudinal direction and extends to the surface of the presentation card, in which a further, detachable stop strip is located at a mutual distance from the opposing end faces of the holding strips is arranged. This results in two receptacles arranged one behind the other in the axial direction, into which, for example, shorter objects can be inserted. However, it is also possible to detach the stop bar from the parting line, which creates a larger receptacle for longer objects in the axial direction. The stop bar can be provided on its edge facing away from the presentation card with vertically protruding connecting pins which engage frictionally in recesses in the cover part. The frictional engagement can be set so that the cover can only be removed by breaking off the connecting pins.
There is also the possibility that the retaining strips have on their free edge facing away from the presentation card a widening of the exit width of the receiving groove formed between them, head-like in cross section. In this way, a self-clamping holding effect for the objects arranged in the receptacles can be achieved.
Finally, holding caps which can be plugged onto the presentation card and are open on one side for receiving the end of one or more of the objects can be provided as further holding means. This type of attachment is particularly suitable for objects whose length to diameter ratio is particularly large. Here it is sufficient to grip the object only at its two ends, which in particular also achieves material-saving packaging.
The holding caps expediently have the shape of an irregular pentagon in plan view, the side opposite the open end of the holding cap having an outwardly wedge-shaped shape. This wedge-shaped shape enables additional centering of the object even if it has a diameter that is comparatively small compared to the width of the retaining cap.
In order to be able to easily adapt to the respective length of the different objects, the invention provides that the presentation card is provided with a plurality of receiving recesses arranged one behind the other in its longitudinal direction for connecting pins projecting from the retaining caps. A particularly stable attachment of the retaining caps can be achieved in that the receiving recesses are arranged in two mutually parallel rows at a uniform distance.

The flat packaging shown in the drawing is intended for elongated objects which are not shown in the drawing, in particular for tools such as twists or taps. The flat packaging consists in particular of a strip-
The holding means consist, on the one hand, of at least two
The
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1, the
The
