Bei festgebackenem oder sonst festsitzendem Bolzen 9 kann aufgrund der manuellen Bedienung des Handrads 33 vielfach eine zum Lösen nicht ausreichende Zugkraft auf den Bolzen 9 ausgeübt werden. Die hierbei auftretende Vorspannung reicht jedoch aus, um den Bolzen 9 durch vergleichsweise leichte Hammerschläge auf das der Gewindespindel 27 abgewandte Stirnende zu lockern. Die elastische Kunststoffscheibe 31 wirkt hierbei als Energiespeicher, der die Zugbewegung unterstützt. Da die Gewindespindel 27 in der Öffnung 23 frei verschiebbar geführt ist, wird der zum Lockern auf den Bolzen 9 geführte Schlagimpuls nicht auf die Stützglocke 19 übertragen. Zum Setzen des Bolzens 9 wird das Abstandteil 17 von dem Glockenteil 13 abgenommen und das Glockenteil 13 mit seiner ansonsten am Abstandteil 17 aufliegenden Auflagefläche 43 unmittelbar auf die Eckstielverbindung aufgesetzt. Flächenkontur und Größe der Auflagefläche 43 des Glockenteils 13 ist etwa gleich der entsprechenden Auflagefläche des Abstandteils 17 gewählt.
