Abstract
For setting and extracting connecting pins of construction parts, in particular tower units of a tower crane, separable from one another, a device is proposed which is mounted by means of a supporting bell (19) and has a threaded spindle (27) penetrating through the supporting bell (19) in an axially freely movable manner and comprising, at its end located on the side of the bell interior space (15), a coupling head (37, 39) for an axially fixed connection to the connecting pin (9). The threaded spindle (27) and the pin (9) connected thereto can be drawn into or out of the connection region of the construction by means of a spindle nut (29) supported on the supporting bell (19) and provided with rotary working surfaces (33). Since the threaded spindle (27) is guided freely displaceably in the supporting bell (19), firmly fitting pins (9) can be detached readily by light hammer blows after pretensioning by the device. <IMAGE>
