Aushärten des Dichtungsprofils wieder aufgehoben wird. Bei dieser bekannten Vorrichtung ist eine mit einer gasdichten, elastischen Deckschicht versehene plane Anlegefläche für den Fensterrahmen, Türrahmen od.dgl. vorgesehen. Weiters ist eine in der Anlegefläche angeordnete, mit einer Evakuiervorrichtung verbundene Absaugöffnung vorgesehen. Der DE-AS 23 35 688 ist nichts darüber zu entnehmen, wie die Glashalteleiste mit einem Dichtungsprofil auf der dem Dichtungsprofil aus vulkanisierbarem Werkstoff gegenüberliegenden Seite befestigt wird. Claims (2)

  1. Method of inserting panel-shaped components, especially glass panels (1) into frames (2), the component (1) being disposed between resilient seals (3, 4) located on both sides of the component (1), and being held by said seals in the frame (2), the seal (3) on one side being secured on the frame (2), and the seal (4) on the other side being secured to bars (6) engageable with the frame (2) , characterised in that the component (1) is displaced in the frame (2) transversely to its surface, accompanied by deformation, especially compression of the seal (3) which is inserted into the frame (2), by means of a pressure differential between one side and the other of the component (1) , especially of the glass panel, in that, with the component (1) thus displaced relative to the frame (2), the bars (6) carrying the other seal (4) are inserted into the frame (2), and that the pressure differential is thereupon removed.
  2. Method according to claim 1, characterised in that the pressure differential is generated by the application of vacuum over the entire surface of the component (1).
