Description

The invention relates to a support rod mounting for motor vehicle door locks, consisting of a hinge eye bore in the door support rod of a door lock and a bearing block provided with at least one hinge eye bore fixed to one of the two door arrangement parts, door or door pillar, and on the one hand in the hinge eye bore in the door support rod and on the other hand in the hinge eye bore of the bearing block engaging bearing pin, which is mounted by means of a resilient support in one of the hinge eye holes with a seat and in which the door support rod is resiliently supported in the axial direction of its storage against the bearing block (cf. preamble of claim 1). Such a handrail mounting is known from EP-A-0 299 147.

When storing the door support rods of motor vehicle door locks, a particular problem arises from the fact that the adjacent body parts, door and door pillar are each hollow bodies, which, acting as a resonance body, also amplify the slightest noise in the storage of the door support rod, which increases when the vehicle door is opened and closed extremely unpleasantly noticeable. On the other hand, very high radially acting and unpleasantly jerky force peaks are to be taken up in the storage of the door holding rod of motor vehicle door locks, which result from the fact that in the conventional door locks the high braking and holding forces required for braking and holding the door in certain intended opening positions in the manner be applied that a door holding rod provided with detent marks is moved through a holder housing provided with spring-loaded braking and holding bodies. The high braking and holding forces that occur more or less abruptly during the passage of the latching marks of the door holding rod between the brake bodies must, however, be absorbed or supported as forces directed radially to this in the bearing of the door holding rod. In order to have one over a For a long period of operation, maintenance-free and noise-free storage of the door holding rod of the door arrester was used to obtain bearing bushes made of maintenance-free bearing material, via which the bearing pin supporting the door holding rod on the bearing block is mounted in the hinge eye bore of the door holding rod. In particular, as a result of the fact that the door must always be braked and held in the same opening positions as specified by the design of the door lock, the highest radial bearing loads always occur at the same circumferential areas of the bearing over the entire service life of the door lock, which leads to a Knocking out the storage or the formation of chatter marks, which in turn cause noise in the storage of the door handle. This noise can be caused by special measures in the camp training, in particular a constant automatic axial bearing adjustment, as z. B. according to EP-A-299 147 with flying storage of the door support rod by the application in the axial direction acting load springs in conjunction with a conical configuration of at least a part of the bearing pin although reduced, but not generally eliminated.

It has also been provided to make the bearing pin of a support rod mounting for motor vehicle door locks, in particular by using an adapter sleeve as a bearing pin, resilient in order to reduce the effect of the radially directed force peaks within the bearing. However, such a design of the storage of the door retaining rod is only possible on the one hand where the bearing pin is supported on both sides in a two-armed bearing block and on the other hand carries the risk that the bearing pin begins to move in the axial direction and thus the storage after a longer operating time of the door arrester becomes unreliable.

Based on this prior art, the invention has for its object to provide a handrail mounting for motor vehicle door locks, the one with the lowest possible Effort can be produced and assembled and, on the other hand, ensures that the door holding rod of a motor vehicle door arrester is supported without any reduction in the strength of the bearing, so that it can move smoothly over the long term and, in particular under the attack of force peaks directed radially to the bearing axis, it operates absolutely silently.

This object is achieved according to the invention in the support rod mounting for a motor vehicle door arrester in that the hinge eye bore in which the bearing pin has a seat has an excess compared to it and the bearing pin is supported in this hinge eye bore by a number of axially parallel leaf springs. The bearing pin is expediently supported in the oversized hinge eye bore of the door holding rod and there at least one, but preferably three symmetrically arranged leaf springs, such that two adjacent leaf springs are on both sides of the longitudinal axis of the door holding rod.

In a first preferred embodiment, the leaf springs supporting the bearing pin in the hinge eye bore are arched inwards transversely to the bore axis of the hinge eye bore, and furthermore radial groove recesses in the peripheral wall of the hinge eye bore, which are directed axially parallel to the bearing axis, are assigned to them, which on the one hand form a guide for the leaf springs, on the other hand, they also offer a sufficient escape option when radial peak loads occur in the bearing, such that the door retaining bar is supported or mounted in strips or lines in the unloaded state by means of the leaf springs and in an elastic manner to compensate for play, but especially outside direct contact with the latter on the bearing pin, however, the free rotatability of the door support rod relative to the bearing pin is completely and smoothly maintained. When increasing longitudinal forces occur in the door support rod, the leaf springs are increasingly deformed and therefore increasingly dive into the radial groove recesses in the circumferential wall of the hinge eye bore until the circumferential wall of the hinge eye bore of the door holding rod finally comes into contact with the occurrence of force peaks directed radially toward the bearing on the bearing pin and thus the greatest forces occurring due to the direct, flat contact of the bearing pin with the Circumferential wall of the hinge eye bore of the door support rod are transferred. As a result, very high bearing forces can be transmitted on the one hand, and on the other hand the bearing pin is applied to the peripheral wall of the hinge eye bore in such a way that noise is prevented. Since the unloaded door support rod is also only supported by the leaf springs on the bearing pin, no noise can occur in the storage even when the door support rod is unloaded, even if the door hinge eye bore shows a certain amount of wear after a long period of operation. In this context, it should be emphasized that over the circumference of the hinge eye bore in the door holding rod, the arrangement of the leaf springs is such that they lie outside those peripheral regions of the hinge eye bore that come into direct contact with the bearing pin when force peaks occur.

In a particularly advantageous embodiment, it is further provided that the arc height of the curvature of the leaf springs directed transversely to the bearing axis corresponds in the relaxed state to the sum of the depth of the groove recesses in the peripheral wall of the hinge eye bore and its oversize of the hinge eye bore of the door retaining rod compared to the bearing pin diameter. The front edge of the leaf spring is fixed by cutting into the groove or by resting on the pedestal.

A particularly simple and therefore inexpensive method of manufacturing the leaf springs, which at the same time ensures a particularly simple and time-saving assembly of the same is characterized in that the leaf springs are formed in one piece with an essentially smooth-faced and parallel to the door holding rod broad side to be arranged holding plate, the leaf springs being formed by free cuts on a smooth-faced spring steel sheet blank. The cutouts of the sheet metal blank that form the leaf springs can be provided in a first design within the area of the holding plate that overlaps with the hinge eye bore of the door holding rod, or in a second design also extend radially outward from the periphery of the holding plate in an approximately star shape.

The one-piece design of the leaf springs with the holding plate initially enables extremely simple manufacture and assembly of the bearing, since the leaf springs fixed in a predetermined position by the holding plate can simply be inserted into the hinge eye bore in the door holding rod. On the other hand, the one-piece design of the leaf springs with the holding plate also enables, in a simple manner, the formation and assembly of a spring support of the door holding rod on the bearing bracket, which is directed in the direction of the bearing axis, in particular in that, in a first embodiment, the length of the leaf springs is approximately the same corresponds to the material thickness of the door holding rod and the leaf springs connect to the holding plate via a bend perpendicular to the plane of the broad side of the door holding rod and opposite to this, or that other bends are formed into the holding plate without leaf springs. This bend of the leaf springs directed perpendicular to the broad side of the door holding rod forms a resilient support of the door holding rod directed in the direction of the bearing axis on the bearing block or on a head of the bearing pin, without additional parts or additional assembly processes being required for this. In particular, this deflection of the leaf springs can be formed in one operation with the production of the holding plate formed in one piece with the leaf springs.

A resilient support of the door holding rod in the direction of the bearing axis can be achieved in a design in which the leaf springs together with a holding plate are formed by a star-shaped cut from spring steel sheet in that the free cuts forming the leaf springs are bent parallel to the holding plate and inwards towards the hinge eye bore and are finally angled parallel to the hinge eye bore.

According to another embodiment, it can be provided that the leaf springs are curved around axes parallel to the bearing axis and that they do not result in a change in the mode of operation of the mounting of the door holding rod via leaf springs or an increase in the manufacturing or assembly expenditure for the bearing assigned radial groove recesses in the peripheral wall of the hinge eye bore of the door retaining rod have an excess of the width of the leaf springs. The dimension of the arch height of the curvature of the leaf springs also corresponds to the sum of the depth of the groove recesses in the circumferential wall of the hinge eye bore and half of their excess compared to the bearing pin.

According to a further individual embodiment, it can further be provided that the leaf springs are double-layered and have a substantially smooth, flat support and a spring part curved around an axis parallel to the bearing axis, the leaf springs each being formed from a free cut having an essentially rectangular outline shape , wherein the free end of the free cut is bent back with a curvature about an axis parallel to the bearing axis against the smoothly left connection area of the free cut with the holding plate.

In the case of a flying mounting of the door holding rod, it is expediently provided that the bearing pin is fixed in a one-armed bearing block with a tight fit and one has the hinge eye bore and the retaining plate overlapping head and that the retaining plate is arranged engaging between the head of the bearing pin and the broad side of the door retaining rod.

In a further expedient individual configuration it can further be provided that in the case of abutting spring ends on the bearing axis, two sheet metal parts having approximately half the leaf spring length are arranged opposite one another, the two sheet metal parts expediently having the same or different, but interlocking shape and parallel to the leaf springs in the Insert grooves and that an even number of groove recesses are alternately occupied by at least two leaf springs of two sheet metal parts essentially opposite to the bearing axis.
It can further be provided that the design-related free spaces are sealed against contamination, in particular in the preferred embodiment, by a circumferential collar in the carrier part and that when a holding plate is used, the seal is formed by circumferential padding with intermediate tabs.
It can also be provided in the context of the invention that the bearing pin is fixedly connected to the support rod and the support rod bearing is arranged with the groove recesses in the bearing block.
The invention is described in detail in the following example description with reference to some exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing.

In the embodiment of a support rod mounting shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a bearing pin 1 is fixed in a rotationally secure manner to a one-arm bearing block 3 via a shaft part 2 with a tight fit and engages with a bearing part 4 through a hinge eye bore 6 in a door holding rod 7 formed from a flat material blank End of the bearing pin 1 is provided with a head 8 overlapping the hinge eye bore 6. On the hinge pin (bearing pin) 1, the door holding rod 7 is supported by leaf springs 9, which are designed as spring tongues and are formed in one piece with a holding plate 10. The leaf springs 9 are arched transversely to the axis 11 of the support rod bearing and are immersed in radial groove recesses 12 in the peripheral wall of the hinge eye bore 6 of the door support rod 7. The leaf springs 9 are connected to the holding plate 10, which is essentially designed as a flat plate and adjoins a door holding rod broad side 13, by means of a bend 14 directed perpendicular to the plane of the broad side 13 of the door holding rod 7, the length of the leaf springs essentially corresponding to the material thickness of the door holding rod 7 and the bend 14 of the leaf springs 9 forms a resilient support of the door holding rod 7 on the head 8 of the bearing pin 1 in the axial direction. The arc height of the curvature of the 15 of the leaf springs 9 corresponds to the sum of the depth of the radial groove recesses 12 in the peripheral wall of the hinge eye bore 6 of the door holding rod 7 and the excess of the hinge eye bore 6 compared to that Bearing pin diameter.
The leaf springs 9 are in this case formed by free cuts lying within the circular plan shape of the holding plate 10 and in its overlap region with the hinge eye bore 6 of the door holding rod 7.

In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the leaf springs 91 are curved around axes parallel to the axis 11 of the bearing and the radial groove recesses 121 have an oversize in relation to the width of the leaf springs 91. The leaf springs 91, which are formed in one piece with the holding plate 100, are formed by free cuts of a star-shaped blank made of spring steel sheet (not shown in its development) and are first bent at 102 in parallel along the outline shape of the holding plate 100 and finally angled parallel to the bearing axis 11, such that that when mounting the mounting plate 100 rests on the head 8 of the bearing pin and the inwardly bent areas 101 of the leaf springs 91 resiliently rest on the broad side 13 of the door holding rod 7. In order to increase the force of the resilient support of the door holding rod 7 directed in the direction of the bearing axis 11, tabs 103, which are cut in one piece with the holding plate 100, are also bent at 104 parallel to the holding plate 100 and resiliently bent inwards against the broad side 13 of the door holding rod 7.
In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, leaf springs 92 formed in one piece with a holding plate 110 are formed by cutouts 111 arranged internally with respect to the plan shape of the holding plate 110 and at least largely in the area of overlap of the holding plate 110 with the hinge eye bore 6 of the door holding rod 7, the Cutouts 111 each have an essentially rectangular plan shape and a connection area 112 connecting them to the holding plate 110. The leaf springs 92 are double-layered in such a way that the free end regions 113 of the free cuts 111 are turned over towards the connection region 112. The connection areas 112 thereby form essentially smooth-surface supporting or supporting parts, while the folded-over areas 113 are curved around axes parallel to the bearing axis 11 and form the leaf springs 92 lying against the circumference of the bearing pin 1. In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the holding plate 110 also engages between the head 8 of the bearing pin 1 and the broad side 13 of the door holding rod 7.
