Die Code-Eingabevorrichtung gem. Fig. 1 dient zur Ansteuerung eines elektrischen Türschlosses für ein Sicherheitsbehältnis, beispielsweise einen Tresor.The code input device acc. Fig. 1 is used to control an electric door lock for a security container, such as a safe.

Das Beispiel für eine Eingabevorrichtung gemäß Fig. 1 umfaßt neben drei Tastschaltern 17,18 und 19, eine mehrstellige und mehrzeilige Anzeigevorrichtung 4. Auf diese Weise hat der Bediener eine Kontrolle darüber, welche Stelle seines Codewortes im Moment überprüft wird. In der Fig. 1 wird durch drei Symbole "*" angezeigt, daß bereits drei Codeziffern richtig eingegeben wurden und daß gerade die vierte Stelle zur Überprüfung ansteht.The display is deactivated in the basic state. Claims (5)

  1. Code input device for a code
    - consisting of a plurality of one-digit code characters,
    - with an electronic processing unit predetermining a single code character in a processing sequence,
    - with a display means (4) for indicating the predeterminded code character,
    - with an operating device comprising
    - a first switching means (19) for confirming a correct code character, and
    - a second switching means (17, 18) for step-by-step changing the code characters, particularly in upward or downward counting manner,
    the processing sequence for the individual code characters of the code being successively repeated,
    characterized in
    - that the processing unit comprises a ramdom number generator predetermining the individual code characters in a user-independent manner,
    - that the display means (4) includes several digit indicators,
    - that one digit indicator is provided for each individual code character of the code, and
    - that by confirmation with the first switching means (19) the input and displayed code character is erased in the display unit (4) and replaced by a neutral symbol in the correct digit position.
  2. Code input device according to claim 1,
    characterized in
    that the operating device comprises three push-buttons (17, 18, 19), the first push-button (17) serving for reverse counting of the code characters,
    the second push-button (18) serving for forward counting of the code characters, and
    the third push-button (19) serving for confirmation of a correct code character.
  3. Code input device according to one of the preceding claims,
    characterized in
    that the display means (4) comprises in addition to the digit indicators for each individual code character of the code further digit indicators reproducing operating instructions or information.
  4. Code input device according to claim 3,
    characterized in
    that in the basic state the display means (4) is deactivated, and is activated by acuating the operating device.
  5. Code input device according to claim 3 or 4,
    characterized in
    that the additional digit indicators are arranged in an additional line.
