Mit Hilfe von Federelementen, die an gegenüberliegenden Wänden der Manschette angeordnet sind, wird ein spielfreier Sitz des Quetschfußes im Lampenträger erzielt.
Vorteilhafterweise sind die Aussparungen für die an den Quetschfuß angeformten Stege nicht direkt in den Wänden der Manschette, sondern in den Kanten der Federelemente angebracht, die klemmend am Quetschfuß anliegen. Diese Federelemente sind mit Schlupfschrägen ausgestattet, die das Einführen des Quetschfußes in die Manschette erleichtern.

Die Manschette 4 besitzt eine Kante 11, an der sich eine erste 12 und eine zweite 13 Seitenwand überlappen. Die erste Seitenwand 12 ist mit zwei Laschen 14 ausgestattet, die durch je einen paßgerechten Schlitz 15 in der zweiten Seitenwand 13 hindurchgeführt und rechtwinklig umbogen sind. Die zweite Seitenwand 13 besitzt einen über die gemeinsame Kante 11 von erster 12 und zweiter 13 Seitenwand hinausragenden Wandteil 16, der ebenfalls rechtwinklig umgebogen ist, so daß er an der ersten Seitenwand 12 anliegt.
An zwei einander gegenüberliegenden Wänden der Manschette 4 sind jeweils zwei Federelemente 17 teilweise ausgestanzt, die in das Innere der Manschette 4 weisen und klemmend an dem in Figur 4 gestrichelt angedeuteten Quetschfuß 2 der Lampe anliegen. Jedes Federelement 17 besitzt an seiner freien Kante, die am Quetschfuß 2 anliegt, eine Aussparung 18.

    - a lamp bulb (1) having a pinch seal (2) from which supply leads (7) are led out,
    - a cap (6) made from an electrically insulating material
    - a single-piece lamp carrier (3) with integrally formed skirts (5) and with a cuff (4), the walls of which form the side walls of a cuboid, a first (12) and a second (13) side wall overlapping, the cuff (4) embracing the pinch seal (2) of the lamp, and the skirts (5) being joined to the cap (6),
    characterized in that
    - the first side wall (12) is equipped with integrally formed tabs (14) which engage in fitting slots (15) of the second side wall (13),
    - the cuff (4) is provided on two opposite walls with spring elements (17) which-are partially stamped out of the cuff walls, have a cutout (18) on the free outer edge in each case, and bear in a clamping fashion against the pinch seal (2),
    - the spring elements (17) are provided with a slipping bevel (20) on their upper edge averted from the skirts (5), and
    - the pinch seal (2) has integrally formed webs (19) which are adapted to fit the cutouts (18).
  2. Electric lamp capped without cement according to Claim 1, characterized in that the skirts (5) have a cross-section of V-shaped profile.
  3. Electric lamp capped without cement according to Claim 1, characterized in that at their free ends the skirts (5) each have an integrally formed ring segment (9) which has openings (10) and is used for high-frequency welding to the cap (6).
