Die Krimphülse und die Kontaktfeder sind integrierte Bestandteile der Erdungsfeder, d.h. sie sind Teil der im wesentlichen aus einem Metallstreifen gebogenen Erdungsfeder. Die genannte Kontaktfeder dient als Aufnahme bzw. Gegenstück für einen Erdungsstift einer Steckdose.
