Description

The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner with a filter cassette that can be inserted into its dust chamber.

Such a vacuum cleaner is known from DE-U-73 32 289. When changing the filter bag filled with dirt, the filter cassette must be removed from the dust compartment of the vacuum cleaner. Here, the cassette is grasped on the handle bar with the dust chamber lid open and lifted up out of the dust chamber. Since the filled filter bag rests on the handle, it is difficult to grasp the handle.

The invention has for its object to design a vacuum cleaner according to the preamble of claim 1 so that the handle of the filter cartridge is easy to grasp even when the filter bag is full.

The problem is solved by the features specified in the characterizing part of claim 1. When opening the dust chamber cover, which is necessary for changing the filter, the handle bar is pivoted upwards by the driving device and remains in the position pivoted away from the filter bag after the driving connection has been released as a result of the locking. There is thus a free space between the handle and the filled filter bag, through which the handle can be gripped. Since the handle is locked in the position it has been reached, the filter cassette can be pulled out of the dust compartment using the handle.

In a vacuum cleaner designed according to the features of claim 2, an automatic loosening of the entrainment connection between the handle and the dust chamber cover is achieved after a certain opening distance of the dust chamber cover in a structurally simple manner.

The secure locking of the handle in its raised position from the filter bag succeeds according to the features described in claim 3.

It is also advantageous if a resilient arm is provided on the handle, on which the second projection and the locking member is located. Such a resilient arm facilitates both the loosening of the driving connection and the loosening of the locking of the handle bar.

With the features of claim 5, a one-piece production of the handle and the locking device can be achieved, so that parts to be assembled separately are not required.

Große Federwege für den federnden Arm, die das Lösen der Arretierung erleichtern, ergeben sich gemäß der Ausgestaltung nach Anspruch 6.Large spring deflections for the resilient arm, which facilitate the release of the locking, result in accordance with the configuration according to claim 6.

The subject of the application is described in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing. It shows:
  • 1 shows a partial illustration of a vacuum cleaner in longitudinal section with the dust chamber cover closed,
  • 2 shows a partial view of a vacuum cleaner in longitudinal section with the dust chamber cover partially open.

An dem der anderen Querwand 6 benachbarten Ende des Griffbügels 7 ist über ein halbkreisförmiges Bogenstück 8 ein federnder Arm 9 angeformt.1 with the housing of a vacuum cleaner is designated, in which a dust chamber 2 is provided for receiving a filter cartridge 3. On one, adjacent to the suction opening 4 of the dust chamber 2 transverse wall 5 of the filter cassette 3, a handle 7 is articulated in the longitudinal direction over the filter cassette 3 to its other transverse wall 6. A resilient arm 9 is formed on the end of the handle 7 adjacent to the other transverse wall 6 via a semicircular arch piece 8.

Dieser erste Vorsprung 12 untergreift in geschlossenem Zustand des Staubraumdeckels 10 einen zweiten, am freien Ende des federnden Armes 9 angeformten Vorsprung 13.A dust chamber cover 10 closing the dust chamber 2 has a first projection 12 on a wall part 11 which runs approximately parallel to the resilient arm 9. In the closed state of the dust chamber cover 10, this first projection 12 engages under a second projection 13 formed on the free end of the resilient arm 9.

On the side of the resilient arm 9 opposite the second projection 13, a projection 14 forming a locking member is provided. On the other transverse wall 6 of the filter cassette 3, a corresponding bulge 15 is created, into which the third projection 14 projects. At the upper end of the bulge 15, a locking recess 16 is formed which is adapted to the contour of the third projection 14. 17 denotes the circular arc described by the first projection 12 when the dust chamber cover 10 is opened, and 18 denotes the circular arc described by the second projection 13 when the handle 7 is pivoted.

To replace a filled filter bag, the dust chamber cover 10 is gripped on its locking tab 19 and its locking is released with a wall projection 20. The dust chamber cover 10 can now be pivoted clockwise about its pivot axis 21 upwards. The first projection 12 connected to the wall part 11 of the dust chamber cover 10 also swings upward on the circular arc 17. The first projection 12 abuts the second projection 13 provided on the resilient arm 9, so that the handle 7 is also pivoted upward about its pivot axis 22. The second projection 13 moves on the circular arc 18.

By this pivoting movement of the handle 7, the fourth projection 14 reaches the locking recess 16 and is locked in this. The handle 7 can now no longer ver be pivoted. In this position of the handle 7, the maximum width of the overlap area 23 existing between the two arcs 17 and 18 is reached. The first and second protrusions 12 and 13 are dimensioned such that the dimension 24 by which these protrusions 12 and 13 engage under approximately corresponds to the maximum width of the overlap region 23. The tips of the projections 12 and 13 can thus slide past one another in this position, the resilient arm 9 possibly being pushed slightly away. The dust chamber cover 10 can now be opened completely.

The handle 7 maintains its position due to the locking of the third projection 14 in the locking recess 16. In this position, there is a free space 26 between the handle 7 and a filter bag 25 inserted in the filter cassette 3. The handle 7 can be gripped through this free space 26 without any hindrance. The locking also provides sufficient grip for the handle 7 so that the filter cassette 3 can be lifted out of the dust chamber 2 by means of the handle 7 and carried away for disposal of the filter bag 25. By corresponding actuation of the resilient arm 9, the locking of the handle 7 can then be released and pivoted so far that the filter bag 25 can be removed from the filter cassette 3 without hindrance.

After inserting a new filter bag 25, the handle 7 is brought back into its locking position and the filter cassette 3 is inserted into the dust chamber 2. If the dust chamber cover 10 is then pivoted back into its closed position, the projections 12 and 13 slide past one another in the locked position of the handle 7. The strength of the locking of the handle 7 is chosen so that even when touching the two projections 12 and 13, the locking is not released. This only happens when the bottom part 27 of the dust chamber cover 10 hits the handle 10. The handle 7 then swings back into its starting position shown in FIG. 1. By engaging the third projection 14 on the wall of the bulge 15, the handle 7 is fixed in this position.
