Da sich das 2/2-Wegeventil 21 in seiner Sperrstellung befindet und das Vorspannventil 22 als Rückschlagventil wirkt, kann das Medium aus dem Zylinderraum 15b nur über die Druckleitung 16b und die Stichleitung 16d in den Zylinderraum 20a des Zumeß-Zylinders 20 verdrängt werden, bis der Kolben 20 in seine hintere Endstellung gelangt. Sobald das Gesamtvolumen des Zylinderraums 20a im Zumeß-Zylinder 20 gefüllt ist, wird die Bewegung des die Kolbenstange 14a tragenden Kolbens im Hydraulikzylinder 14 gestoppt, wobei dessen erste Betätigungsstellung erreicht ist, welche mit der Betätigungsstellung nach Fig. 1 der Zeichnung übereinstimmt.If the 3/2-way valve 17 is brought into its actuation position shifted to the left, then the pressure line 16a comes under pressure medium pressure, while the pressure line 16b is relaxed. Sobald der die Kolbenstange 14a tragende Kolben im Hydraulikzylinder 14 seine hintere Endstellung erreicht hat, welche der zweiten Betätigungsstellung entspricht, kann auch der Zumeß-Zylinder 20 durch die Rückstellwirkung der Feder 20c bei geöffnetem 2/2-Wegeventil 21 entleert werden. Die Druckflüssigkeit strömt dann nicht nur über das Vorspannventil 22 und die Zweigleitung 16c in den Zylinderraum 15b des Hydraulikzylinders 14, sondern sie steht auch über die Stichleitung 16e an der Rückseite des Kolbens 20b im Zumeß-Zylinder 20 an. Hierdurch wird der Kolben 20b so weit vorgeschoben, daß der Zylinderraum 20a des Zumeß-Zylinders 20 sein kleinstes Füllvolumen einnimmt.        consist of pairs of half-shells (2a, 2b) for collecting or receiving and disposing of scrap material, refuse or the like, the said mechanism having a hanger crossbar (6) which may be arranged on a crane jib (7) and has hydraulically actuable hooks (5a and 5b) projecting downwards which may be brought into engagement with hook-on members (4a and 4b) on the pair of half-shells (2a, 2b) which are connected together in a hinge at the top by a pivotpin (3), the said hooks being carried on a horizontal bearer of the hanger crossbar (6) whilst a hydraulic cylinder (14) which is connected to the hooks (5a and 5b) for positioning them is arranged above the horizontal bearer as a power drive,
    characterized in that
    the hydraulic cylinder (14) may be brought from its normal position corresponding with the closed position of the pair of half-shells (2a, 2b) of the hinged container (1) into two different positions of actuation, whereby a first spread position of the pair of half-shells (2a, 2b) may be determined by the first position of actuation, whilst the second position of actuation is associated with a more widely spread position of the pair of half-shells (2a, 2b) as well as with the unlocking position of a partition (8) arranged between the half-shells, that there is associated with the cylindrical space (15b) in the hydraulic cylinder (14), which is acted upon by pressure medium in the direction of the normal position or may be unloaded in the direction of the positions of actuation, a proportioning unit (19) which consists of a proportioning cylinder (20) and in parallel with it a manually actuable 2/2-way valve (21) as well as a prestress valve (22), that at the same time the proportioning cylinder (20) has a predetermined volume of fill (20a) and may be acted upon (16b, 16d) from the cylindrical space (15b), that the prestress valve (22) is a non-return valve which may be opened merely to the cylindrical space (15b), and that the 2/2-way valve (21) is held automatically (23) in its closed position but may be brought manually (24) into its open position.
  2. A mechanism as in Claim 1,
       characterized in that
    the whole proportioning unit (19) is arranged between the hydraulic cylinder (14) and a 3/2-way valve (17) which is held automatically in its closed position but may be moved manually (18) into two different positions of actuation.
  3. A mechanism as in one of the Claims 1 and 2,
    characterized in that
    the piston (20b) of the proportioning cylinder (20) is held under prestress (20c) against its direction of fill and/or may be acted upon by pressure medium (16b, 16e).
  4. A mechanism as in Claim 1,
       characterized in that
    the hydraulic cylinder (14) engages by its piston rod (14a) with one hook (5a) and by its cylinder housing (14b) with the other hook (5b) of the hanger crossbar (6).
