Abstract

The ridge ventilation consists of ventilating flaps (1) made in two symmetrical halves fixed to battens. Each half has a number of protrusions (12) forming openings (5) and recesses (6) staggered w.r.t. the position of the openings. The openings act as ventilating parts, and the recesses serve as supports for the ridge tiles (8), with longitudinal ribs (9) resting against the surface (14) of the recesses.
