Description
The present invention relates to a lighting device for an oven, in particular for a domestic oven, in the cooking space of which microwave energy can be coupled in, using a light source which is arranged outside the cooking space.
In microwave ovens or microwave ovens with or without additional thermal heating sources, lighting devices with filament lamps, which are arranged, for example, in the region of one of the side walls or the upper wall of the cooking chamber on the cooking chamber wall, are used to illuminate the cooking chamber. In this connection, it is known that it is necessary to provide a relatively large opening in the cooking chamber wall, behind which the lamp base of the lighting device is fastened practically outside the oven chamber. For microwave operation, lighting devices which protrude into the cooking space have disadvantages of a special kind. Even when the microwave field strengths are applied, the incandescent filaments become known lamp arrangements when the lamp is free, ie without microwave technology Shield protrudes into the furnace chamber, made to glow.
In this regard, efforts are being made to place the incandescent lamps behind the wall of the cooking space and to shield them against microwave leakage. Such a solution is known from EP 01 20 536 A1. In the older application DE 36 41 420 A1 it has already been proposed to design the receiving shaft for the incandescent lamp in the form of a so-called microwave trap in addition to the reset.
The present invention has for its object to provide a lighting device which is arranged in addition to simple construction technology outside of the cooking space.
- that a microwave-proof glass cover arrangement of the light source inlet opening for the cooking chamber is attached on the one hand outside of the cooking chamber, on the other hand is at least partially accessible on the cooking chamber side and is arranged almost flush with the oven wall, the light source inlet opening for the cooking chamber being covered by a microwave-proof wire glass pane and that in the Glass cover encapsulated wire mesh is contacted with the oven wall.
- that a microwave-proof glass cover arrangement of the light source inlet opening for the cooking space is attached on the one hand outside of the cooking space, on the other hand is at least partially accessible on the cooking space side and is arranged almost flush with the oven wall, a metal surface perforated panel being arranged in front of the glass covering on the cooking space side.
This takes into account the fact that, if possible, no microwave fields form in the vicinity of the lighting device, primarily in the area of the incandescent filament, and cannot act on the lamp.
According to a preferred embodiment, the lighting device according to the invention is characterized in that the glass cover has knobs on the cooking chamber side, which are connected to a surface perforated panel, so that a metallic surface perforated panel with a glass-filled perforated pattern is produced, the metal surface perforated panel being arranged almost flush with the oven wall is accessible on the cooking space side.
- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2
- eine mikrowellendichte Glasabdeckung der Lichtquellen-Eintrittssöffnung mit Drahtglas.
- Fig. 1
- A microwave-proof glass cover of the light source entry opening with a glass-filled, metallic surface pinhole,
- Fig. 2
- a microwave-proof glass cover of the light source entry opening with wire glass.
The knobbed glass cover 2 can also be designed as a circular surface. Then the
The wire glass pane 2.1 covers the light source inlet opening for the cooking space in a microwave-tight manner, since the microwave-tight wire mesh 7.1 which is cast in the glass and which is electrically contacted with the oven wall 5 brings about the microwave tightness. The electrical contact between the wire mesh 7.1 and the oven wall 5 takes place on the outer edge of the wire glass pane 2.1. The wire mesh 7.1 lies freely on the lower side of the outer edge 3.1 on the contact surface 9 and forms a short-circuit bridge for the microwave to the oven wall 5. The wire glass pane 2.1, like the knobbed glass cover 2, is to be cleaned on the cooking chamber side. The wire glass pane 2.1 can be designed as a rectangular area or circular area, as has already been described under the nubby glass cover. For the holder of the wire glass pane 2.1, the same principle applies analogously as for the nubbed glass cover 2, the
