- The nipple according to any of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that a dent (8) is provided around said nipple (3), a raised surface edge (9) remaining at least over the larger peripheral portion of said surface area.
- The nipple according to any of the claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the nipple material is of varying thickness, the material provided within the area of said dent being thinner than that within the area of the surface edge which thus is strengthened.
- The nipple according to claim 1, characterized in that within said surface area (7) said dent (8) opens out at the side of said nipple, too.
- The nipple according to any of the claims 1 to 6, characterized in that above the area of engagement said nipple shaft (2) is designed so as to include at least one dent above the bottleneck connecting piece.
- The nipple according to any of the claims 1 to 6, characterized in that said shaft (2) is evenly or continuously tapered inwardly towards the lower area of engagement with a bottle mouth.
- The nipple according to any of the claims 1 to 3, characterized in that within its central portion said dent (8) comprises a bulbous reinforcement.
