Hierdurch wird sichergestellt, daß unter allen Betriebsumständen die Greiferstange gegenüber der Bogenvorderkante nicht vorlaufen kann. Die passergenaue Halterung der Bogenvorderkante in der Greiferstange wird also auch hinter dem Druckzylinder sichergestellt, was insbesondere dann von Vorteil ist, wenn hinter dem Druckzylinder weitere passergenaue Bearbeitungen des Bogens erforderlich sind, beispielsweise in einem zweiten nachgeschalteten Druckwerk.The features of claim 2 are advantageously provided. Dadurch wird sichergestellt, daß auf keinen Fall die Greiferstange 9 schneller läuft als der Bogen, wodurch die Vorderkante des Bogens aus dem Eingriff zwischen den Greifern 13 und den Ambossen 12 herausgezogen werden könnte. Damit wird sichergestellt, daß auch nach Verlassen des Druckzylinders 1 die Vorderkante des Bogens 14 noch sicher, und zwar in der ursprünglichen Lage an der Greiferstange 13 gehalten bleibt. Claims (7)

  1. Screen printing machine with at least one screen printing mechanism with a rotating printing cylinder (1), with a screen carriage (2) provided to move past it tangentially back and forth, the screen (3) of which is pressable against the cylinder surface by a wiper (5), which is fixed in the direction of movement, during the printing stroke of the screen carriage, and with at least one gripper rod (9) which is disposed parallel to the printing cylinder (1), is pulled by chains (6) on the path of the sheet (14) to be printed and which is guided at an apparatus for laying on sheets (AL) engaging the front edge of the sheet (14) to be printed and guiding it with the printing stroke of the screen carriage (2) between the latter and the printing cylinder (1), characterised in that the gripper rod (9) is mounted on the chains (6) with longitudinal play (elongate holes 16) and for a certain distance in the vicinity of the wiper (5) is constructed so as to be movable without longitudinal play into engagement (21, 20) with the printing cylinder (1).
  2. Screen printing machine as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterised in that in the apparatus for laying on sheets (AL) the chains (6) are guided around sprocket wheel (8) which are driven synchronously with the printing cylinder (1) and with which the gripper rod (9) is movable directly into engagement (21, 27) without longitudinal play, whereby the front edge of the sheet may be engaged by fixed lay gauges (26) on the feed table (24) by means of pivotable grippers (28) and may be brought to synchronous movement with the gripper rod (9).
  4. Screen printing machine as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the gripper rod (9) is provided moving continuously in one direction.
  5. Screen printing machine as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the chains (6) have a plurality of gripper rods (9) spaced from one another.
  6. Screen printing machine as claimed in one of the preceding claims, characterised in that a plurality of screen printing mechanisms (R, G) for different colours are provided one after the other with synchronously running printing cylinders (1), whereby they are supplied with sheets (14) by an apparatus for laying on sheets (AL) by means of the common chain (6) running over all the printing cylinders.
  7. Screen printing machine as claimed in Claim 6, characterised in that all the printing cylinders (1) are driven to run in phase with one another.
