Claims (2)

  1. Verfahren zum Herstellen von Metalldosen, insbesondere zum Verpacken von Lebensmitteln, bestehend aus einem Behälter (13) mit einem Boden und einem dicht auf dem Rand des Behälters gegenüber dem Boden angebrachten Deckel, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es aus folgenden Arbeitsschritten besteht:
    - Tiefziehen eines Behälters (13) aus Blech (12),
    - Tiefziehen der Außenseite von Deckel und Boden des Behälters (13), um in dem Deckel bzw. Boden eine Vertiefung (14) herzustellen, die ins Innere des Behälters hineinragt,
    - Ausschneiden des Bodens (15) der Vertiefung (14),
    - Herstellung eines ringförmigen Falzrandes (18) auf dem die ausgeschnittene Öffnung (16) umgebenden ringförmigen Teil (17), wobei der Falz (18) in Richtung der Achse (X-X′) des Behälters (13) übersteht und von einem ins Innere des Behälters (13) reichenden zylindrischen Wandteil (19) verlängert wird,
    - Anbringen einer elastischen Dichtungsmasse (20) auf der oben genannten zylindrischen Wandteil (19),
    - Anbringen einer Glasscheibe (8) in der von der zylindrischen Wand (19) und dem Falzrand (18) gebildeten Aufnahme,
    - Umfalzen der zylindrischen Wand (19) um die Glasscheibe (8).
  2. Nach dem Verfahren nach Patentanspruch 1 hergestellte Dose, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Glasscheibe (8) mehr als die Hälfte der Fläche des Bodens ausmacht.
