A coupling ring 26 which can be placed on the outer ring 1 enables the flow variator to be easily assembled by pushing the outer ring 1 over the inner ring 2 in such a way that the pin 25 engages in the slot 24, whereupon to close the slot 24 of the coupling ring 26 from behind is pushed onto the outer ring 1 so that a second pin 27 provided thereon engages in the end region of the slot 24. Advantageously, the coupling ring 26 and the outer ring 1 are connected to one another by means of known snap closures which are not shown in the drawing.

In dieser Ausführungsvariante eines erfindungsgemässen Strömungsvariators wird vorteilhafterweise ein Rotor 3 verwendet, dessen Lamellen 8 gerade sein können. Auf die Verwendung einer Abdeckung des kegelnförmigen Rotorbodens 9 wird verzichtet. Dies führt zu einer anderen Konstruktion des Rotorlagers, als sie hiervor bezüglich der ersten Ausführungsvariante eines erfindungsgemässen Strömungsvariators beschrieben ist, insbesondere wenn sichergestellt werden soll, dass es nicht verschmutzt. Der Rotorboden 9 kann diesbezüglich zentral so gestaltet werden, dass in ihn eine Lagerbüchse 30, in die vorgängig ein Lagerstift 29 eingesetzt worden ist, eingepresst werden kann. Durch das Einpressen des Lagerstiftes 29 in eine mit dem Innenring 2 solidarische Lagerpfanne 31, wird das Rotorlager, das vorteilhafterweise wartungsfrei ist, fertig montiert und der Rotor 3 mit dem Innenring 2 verbunden.In this embodiment variant of a flow variator according to the invention, a rotor 3 is advantageously used, the fins 8 of which can be straight. Einzelne konstruktive Details der einen Ausführungsvariante können dabei problemlos mit solchen der anderen kombiniert werden. Es ist dabei darauf zu achten, dass die Möglichkeit, dass periphere Kanäle mehr oder weniger geöffnet werden können, immer gegeben sein muss, um die hiervor beschriebenen Veränderungen im austretenden Luftstrom erzeugen zu können. Insbesondere der Rotor 3 und mit ihm die Lamellen 8 können anders gestaltet werden. Auch ist es möglich, an Stelle einer Verdrehmöglichkeit des Aussenringes 1 auf dem Innenring 2 lediglich eine achsiale Verschiebbarkeit dieser beiden Komponenten relativ zueinender vorzusehen. Dann kann die Lagerung des Rotors 3 im Innenring 2 anders gestaltet werden als hiervor beschrieben, ohne dass dadurch vom erfinderischen Konzept abgewichen wird. Weiter kann selbstverständlich die Verbindung zwischen dem Strömungsvariator und dem Haartrockner den jeweils herrschenden Verhältnissen angepasst werden, wobei dies beispielsweise durch einen flexibel gestalteten Innenringbereich realisierbar ist. Der Strömungsvariator kann auch direkt als fester Bestandteil des Haartrockners ausgelegt werden, in welchem Falle es sinnvoll sein kann, an Stelle eines verschiebbaren Aussenringes einen Innenring gegenüber dem Haartrocknergehäuse verschiebbar zu gestalten. All diese konstruktiven Modifikationen gegenüber den hiervor beschriebenen Ausführungsvarianten der Erfindung liegen aber im Rahmen dessen, was ein Fachmann ohne erfinderisches Dazutun leisten kann.It goes without saying that the two design variants of a flow variator according to the invention can be constructed differently in detail than is apparent from the foregoing and the drawing.
