Da bei dieser Ausbildung die Auflage unter Vermittlung des Zwischenträgers am für die Halterung verantwortlichen Grundkörper angebracht ist, läßt sich der Zwischenträger aus einem eine sehr feste Verbindung mit der Auflage eingehenden Material herstellen. Die Auflage kann sich deshalb vom Zwischenträger unter den von der Warenbahn ausgeübten Kräften nicht mehr ablösen. Die Auflage kann sich ferner über die gesamte lösbare Breite des Zwischenträgers erstrecken. Der Zwischenträger kann zusammen mit der Auflage ein vorgefertigtes Bauelement sein, das kostengünstig praktisch endlos hergestellt, dann auf die jeweils benötigte Länge abgelängt und nach Bedarf auf den Grundkörper aufgeschoben wird. Der Klammergriff des Zwischenträgers auf dem Grundkörper reicht aus, den Fliehkraften einerseits und den Kräften der Warenbahn andererseits zuverlässig zu widerstehen. Der Klammergriff hält den Zwischenträger mit der Auflage beim Arbeiten der Warenbahn-Ausbreitwalze auch in Längsrichtung sicher auf dem Grundkörper. Die Vorspannung wird so bemessen, daß das Aufziehen des Zwischenträgers einfach möglich ist, wie auch sein rasches Abziehen zu Reparaturzwecken. Aufgrund der einfachen, kostengünstigen Herstellbarkeit des Zwischenträgers mit seiner Auflage kann dieser bei verschlissener Auflage weggeworfen und durch einen neuen Abschnitt ersetzt werden. Die Seitenränder 35 der Kontaktstreifen K stützen sich an den Nutenrändern 36 ab. Der Klebstoff braucht somit nur mittig unter dem Kontaktstreifen K vorgesehen werden, so daß er an den Seitenrändern nicht herausquillt. Die freien Oberseiten 14 der Kontaktstreifen K ragen aus der Oberfläche des Zwischenträgers 5 hervor und sie sind im Hinblick auf eine optimale Griffigkeit für die Warenbahn 29 ausgelegt, z.B. profiliert oder klebrig gestaltet oder mit einer Textilstrukturierung versehen. Zweckmäßigerweise können die Kontaktstreifen K aus einem Trägermaterial mit einer oberseitigen Mohairschicht bestehen. Claims (11)

  1. A profiled rod (1) for a roller for expanding a product web, with an elongate base body (4) that is displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the expanding roller and approximately C-shaped in cross-section, with holding sides (7) on both sides for mounting the profiled rod (1) on supporting rings (3) assigned to the roller axis, which body carries on its back (28) a friction-active resilient covering (6) extending in the longitudinal direction, characterized in that the covering (6) is mounted on an intermediate support (5) made of a more rigid material as compared with the covering (6), and that the intermediate support (5) is fitted onto the base body (4) in the longitudinal direction of the latter and is held on its back (28) and the holding sides (7) with a clamping grip.
  2. A profiled rod according to claim 1, characterized in that the clamping grip_of the intermediate support (5) is formed by a force fit and form fit, and that the force fit can be released by withdrawing the intermediate support (5) in the longitudinal direction of the base body (4).
  3. A profiled rod according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the base body (4) is a metallic section, the intermediate support (5) a synthetic hard material section and the covering (6) a synthetic soft material section.
  4. A profiled rod according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that at least the intermediate support (5) and the covering (6) are sections of continuous profiled castings, preferably extruded profiled sections.
  5. A profiled rod according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the covering (6) is manufactured in one piece with the intermediate support (5) and is preferably bonded thereto.
  6. A profiled rod according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the covering (6) is inserted as a contact strip (K) and secured with a form fit in at least one longitudinal groove (30) provided in the intermediate support (5) and that it projects with its top (14).
  7. A profiled rod according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the covering (6) is formed by at least one narrow contact strip (K) which extends along the profiled rod (1) and is integrally connected to the intermediate support (5), for example, by extrusion.
  8. A profiled rod according to claim 6 or 7, characterized in that the free top (14) of the contact strip (K) has a textured shape, for example, a corrugation, a pile, wart-type projections or grooves.
  9. A profiled rod according to claim 1 or 3, characterized in that the base body (4) has in cross-section a straight back portion (9) and straight holding sides (7) projecting from the back portion (9) in a convergent direction via one arc (8) respectively, each of which sides forms an angle (α) of approximately 60° with the back portion (9).
  10. A profiled rod according to one of claims 1, 3 or 9 characterized in that the base body (4) bears with its back portion (9) in a straight line on the web (2) of the supporting ring (3), which web has a convex curvature in the radial direction, and that holding sides (7) come to bear, preferably in a linear contact, on the side wall (20) of the web (2).
  11. A profiled rod according to one of claims 9 and 10, characterized in that the intermediate support (5) has in cross-section a straight web (12) and straight clip sides (10) projecting in a convergent direction via one arc (11) each, which sides form an angle (β) with the transverse web (12) that is smaller than the angle (α).
