Claims (8)

  1. Bau- bzw. Konstruktionswerkstoff, das aus pflanzlichen Resten erhalten wurde, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es aus pflanzlichen Fasern gebildet ist, die mit einem Bindemittel imprägniert sind und die in Paketen (3) paralleler Fasern gruppiert sind,
    wobei jedes Paket die Form eines schiefen Parallelepipeds besitzt, das vier jeweils zwei parallel zueinander und parallel zu den Fasern verlaufende Seiten (4, 5), und zwei Stirn- oder Endflächen (6) aufweist, welche letztere parallel zueinander verlaufen und mit den Fasern einen Winkel von ungefähr zwischen 30° und 60° bilden,
    wobei die Pakete in übereinanderliegenden Schichten (2) angeordnet sind, deren jede mehrere Pakete aufweist von im wesentlichen der gleichen Größe und die mit ihren Stirnflächen in Kontakt miteinander stehen,
    wobei die Stirnflächen der Pakete einer Schicht bezüglich der Stirnflächen der Pakete einer benachbarten Schicht versetzt sind, und
    wobei die Pakete untereinander mittels des Bindemittels verbunden sind, mit dem die Fasern imprägniert sind, um einen Block zu bilden.
  2. Material nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Fasern Zuckerrohrfasern, Jutefasern, Hanffasern, Leinen- bzw. Flachsfasern, Baumwollfasern oder Kapokfasern sind.
  3. Material nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Fasern Kokosnußfasern sind.
  4. Material nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Bindemittel eine Polyurethan-Klebstoff ist.
  5. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Materials nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Verfahren die folgenden Schritte aufweist:
    - Eintauchen der Fasern in das Bindemittel,
    - Anordnen der mit dem Bindemittel imprägnierten Fasern in einer Form, wobei die Fasern in Paketen (3) und Schichten (2) grupgiert sind,
    - Pressen der Fasern im Innern der Form bis zur mindestens teilweisen Polymerisation des Bindemittels,
    - gegebenenfalls Beenden der Polymerisation und Vornahme einer Trocknung außerhalb der Form.
  6. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Materials nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Verfahren die folgenden Schritte aufweist:
    - Anordnen der nicht imprägnierten Fasern in einer Form, wobei die Fasern in Paketen und Schichten gruppiert sind,
    - Schließen der Form und Einführen des Bindemittels dorthinein, um die Fasern zu imprägnieren,
    - Pressen der Fasern im Innern der Form bis zur mindestens teilweisen Polymerisation des Bindemittels,
    - gegebenenfalls Beeden der Polymerisation und Vornahme einer Trocknung außerhalb der Form.
  7. Verfahren nach Anspruch 5 oder 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß man zur Erleichterung der Anordnung der Fasern in der Form aufeinanderfolgende Pakete miteinander verbindet, und zwar dadurch, daß Fasern über ihre Verbindungestelle gelegt werden, oder mit einem Kleber.
  8. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 5 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Bindemittel, mit dem man die Fasern imprägniert, ein Einkomponenten-Polyurethan-Kleber ist.
