Claims (5)

  1. Improvements in motor vehicle signalling lamps, more especially flashing direction indicator lamps and of the type which comprises a reflector (5), an incandescent lamp (3), a diffuser (8) masking the reflector (5), means (4, 15) of colouring the light beams emitted by the lamp (3), a first screen (6) for channelling the light beam towards the outside, a second screen (7) which, when the lamp (3) is not alight, is able to mask from the outside the means of colouring the light beam, and is arranged in front of the first screen (6), the latter exhibiting on the face of it next the lamp a series of concentric grooves (10) and on one portion of at least one of its faces a network of lenses in the form of spherical cups, characterized in that the second screen (7) on the face of it next the first screen (6) has catadioptric prisms (13) in the shape of pyramids which exhibit three sidefaces and the edges of which adjacent to the base are truncated so as to make plane hexagonal surfaces (14) between the prisms, the said bases themselves being hexagonal.
  2. Improvements in motor vehicle signalling lamps, as in Claim 1, characterized in that that face of the first screen (6) which is next the second screen (7) exhibits the network of lenses in the form of spherical cups, the whole of that face which is next the lamp (3) being covered with the concentric grooves (10).
  3. Improvements in motor vehicle signalling lamps, as in Claim 1, characterized in that the concentric grooves (15) are situated in a portion of the first screen which is situated directly in front of the lamp (3), the rest of the surface having a network of lenses in the form of spherical cups (16), the other face being plane.
