Abstract
Es wird ein chemisches Verfahren zur Vermeidung eines Regenbogeneffekts, der durch die beim Glänzen von Teilen aus Aluminium oder Aluminiumle gierungen entstehende Oxydschicht hervorgerufen wird, bei dem die Teile in einem ersten Verfahrensschritt entfettet bzw. gereinigt und in einem zweiten Verfahrensschritt elektrolytisch-alkalisch ge glänzt werden, beschrieben, das sich dadurch auszeichnet, daß die Teile nach dem Glänzen einer Weiterbehandlung unterzogen werden, bei der die Teile zunächst in Wasser gespült, dann in einer Chrom säure-Lösung mit etwa 50 g/l CrO₃ bei etwa 98 o C etwa drei Minuten exponiert und schließlich in einer Natriumhydrogensulfit-Lösung noch mals gespült werden.
