Description
The invention relates to a molded bottom sack made of paper, plastic film or the like.Foldable material with a carrying handle, in which at least one of the two molded bases carries on its outside a grip strip which extends in the longitudinal direction of the base on both sides of a central line of symmetry and is essentially at the bottom length and which essentially connects the end regions Bottom width and a between them extending and narrowed the support area comprises, the grip strip forms part of a prefabricated cutting unit, which comprises a separating sheet engaging under the support area of the grip strip, the width of which corresponds to that of the grip strip in its end connection areas and that with the grip strip in narrow connection areas on both sides of its support area, and the cutting unit with its free underside as a whole with the outside of the mold base, this according to Ar t of a bottom cover sheet is essentially completely covered, glued.
Such a molded floor is known from DE-A-32 05 340. The attachment of the separate grip strip in connection with an outer bottom cover sheet having the outer contour of the mold base is associated with a comparatively high manufacturing and material expenditure in this known mold base sack and / or the grip strip is only suitable for absorbing low loads for connection or material reasons.
The invention has for its object to provide a molded bottom bag made of paper, plastic film or the like. Foldable material with a handle that is simple and low The cost of materials can be produced and has a high degree of load-bearing capacity.
Starting from a molded bottom sack of the type specified at the outset, this object is achieved according to the invention in that the length of the separating sheet measured in the longitudinal direction of the base is shortened compared to the length of the grip strip to the narrow connecting areas on both sides of the carrying area of the grip strip and which is glued to the outside of the molded base The underside of the cutting unit is composed of the undersides of the end connection areas of the grip strip and the underside of the separating sheet.
The molded-bottom sack according to the invention with a handle can be produced in a simple manner by punching oblong holes with a longitudinal center line extending transversely to the first material web from a first material web, the width of which corresponds to the length of the mold base, corresponding distances in the width of the mold base, a second material web, the width of which extends beyond the longitudinal dimension of the elongated holes punched into the first material web, but is less than the width of the first material web, with its upper side being united with the underside of the first material web in its edge regions projecting beyond the longitudinal dimension of the elongated holes of the first material web, the combined material webs can be divided into individual cutting units by cross-cutting along the longitudinal center lines of the punched holes, and each cutting unit is glued with its underside to the outside of a molded base of a molded base sack.
This enables fully automated production, in the course of which the cutting unit can be applied to the mold base with the usual machine units, for example a device for applying bottom cover sheets known per se. It may be advisable to combine the material webs before dividing them into individual cutting units wind up on a supply roll and unwind from the supply roll to carry out the subdivision step after it has been inserted into a sack manufacturing machine to supply the application device.
In the inventive design of the molded bottom bag with a handle, the cutting unit fulfills the function of an outer bottom cover sheet of the molded base and at the same time a carrying handle with low material consumption, since according to the invention the end connection areas of the handle strip and the separating sheet together with their undersides assembled in this way have a combined material cut of form the contour of the mold base corresponding contour as with a normally one-piece bottom cover sheet. At the same time, however, the carrying handle has a large degree of load-bearing capacity due to its large-area connection areas corresponding to the floor width, without the wearing comfort for the user being impaired due to the reduced carrying area of the grip strip compared to the connecting areas.

Der Formboden 3 umfaßt die bei Kreuzböden üblichen einander paarweise gegenüberliegenden Eckeinschläge 4 und Bodenseitenumschläge 5.1 shows a molded base bag, designated as a whole by 1, made of paper, plastic film or the like. Foldable or flexible material can exist. The shaped bottom sack has the shape of a cross bottom sack and is shown in FIG. 1 in the empty state, in which the two
The
The
The width of the
In the
The width of the
The two

- A method of manufacturing a flat-bottomed bag with a carrying handle according to claim 1, characterised in that from a first web (14) of material the width of which corresponds to the length of the shaped end member (3), elongate holes (24) having a longitudinal central line (25) extending crosswise to the first material web (14) are stamped out at intervals corresponding to the width of the shaped end member (3), a second web (15) of material, the width of which projects on both sides beyond the longitudinal dimension of the elongate holes (24) stamped into the first material web (14) but which is less than the width of the first material web (14), has its upper face connected to the under side of the first material web (14) in its marginal areas which extend beyond the longitudinal dimension of the elongate holes (24) in the first material web (14), the connected material webs (14, 15) being sub-divided into individual blank units (6) by transverse separating cuts made along the longitudinal central lines (25) of the elongate holes (24), each blank unit (6) having its under side glued to the outside of a shaped end member (3) of a flat-bottomed bag (1).
- A method according to claim 4, characterised in that the two material webs (14, 15) are joined to each other by uninterrupted parallel linear applications (33) of adhesive to the upper face of the two longitudinal areas of the second material web (15).
- A method according to claim 4 or 5, characterised in that the connected material webs (14, 15) are, prior to being sub-divided into individual blank units (6), wound onto a supply roll and are unrolled again from the supply roll so that the sub-dividing stage can be performed.
- A method according to one of claims 4 to 6, characterised in that the blank units (6) are glued to the outside of the appropriate shaped end member (3) by applications of adhesive over substantially their entire under side.
