Um dies im nicht gewünschten Fall zu verhindern, sind die beiden Handgriffe mit je einem Verriegelungselement 15 versehen, wie dies in Fig.2 sichtbar ist. Der eine Schenkel des U-förmig ausgebildeten Handgriffs 10 ist Z-förmig geformt und greift mit seinem als Verriegelungselement dienenden freien Ende in eine Aussparung 16 im benachbarten Kastenteil ein. Diese Aussparung 16 ist sowohl nach außen als auch nach innen von Wandteilen umgeben, so daß das Verriegelungselement 15 ein seitliches Verschieben der beiden Kasten-Teile relativ zueinander verhindert.Both box parts 2, 3 are provided with a handle 10 which is pivotally mounted in two bearings 11, 12. Beim Ausführungsbeispiel nach Fig.5 ist das Verriegelungselement 151 an seiner Außenkante abgerundet, während der gegenüberliegende Handgriff 10 mit einem nach unten abgewinkelten Schenkel 152 versehen ist, der seitlich unter dem Z-förmig ausgebildeten Schenkel 151 in die Aussparung 16 in beiden Kasten-Teilen 2,3 eingreift.4 is broken open in the area of the recess 16 in order to illustrate its interaction with the locking element 15.

Claims (8)

  1. Two-piece crate made from plastic or a similar material, in particular to hold beverage bottles, with devices for mutually securing and locking the two sections of the crate, wherein vertical strips (13,14) with a wedge-shaped cross-section are provided on both sections of the crate (2,3), that permit horizontal assembly and that engage each other and fix both sections (2,3) in position in relation to each other when the crate (1) has been assembled, and wherein locking elements (15) are provided, which fix the two sections (2,3) together at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the strips (13, 14).
  2. Crate according to claim 1, wherein on the one hand an opening (17) that is open towards the outside of the crate and on the other hand a projection (18) that fits in this opening are provided in the area of the strips (13, 14).
  3. Crate according to claim 1 or 2, wherein one locking element (15), that engages an opening (16) in the other section of the crate, is provided in each section of the crate (2,3).
  4. Crate according to claim 1, 2 or 3, with a U-shaped, pivoted handle for each of the two sections of the crate, wherein one of the two side sections of the handle (10) is Z-shaped, and wherein the free end of the handle that projects beyond the pivot point (11, 12) when the handle is closed into position engages the opening (16) in the opposite section of the crate.
  5. Crate according to claim 4, wherein the section of the other handle (10) opposite the Z-shaped section is curved at the bottom and engages the opening (16) provided in both sections of the crate below the other section from the other side.
  6. Crate according to one of the previous claims, wherein the handle (10) is pivoted on the inside of the relevant crate section and rests against the inside of the crate wall when it is closed into position.
  7. Crate according to one of the previous claims, wherein the handle (10) is provided with a projection (19) on the edge that is located on top when the handle has been closed into position.
  8. Crate according to one of the previous claims, wherein an opening (20) is provided at the top edge in the middle of the opposite longitudinal walls (4) of the two sections of the crate (2,3).
