Abstract

The present invention relates to a cleaning agent which contains as active component citrus fruit extract mixed with other components from the group comprising surfactants, emulsifiers, foam suppressants, thickeners and water.

Description

The present invention relates to a novel cleaning agent and a method for producing the same.

The large number of commercially available cleaning agents can be roughly divided into two categories: all-purpose cleaners and special cleaners. All-purpose cleaners generally only lead to a satisfactory result if they are lightly soiled. In the case of heavy soiling, especially from special materials such as blood, tar, chewing gum, glue, etc., the use of very special cleaners is necessary. Depending on the type of soiling and the nature of the object to be cleaned, the appropriate special cleaner must be found and used. This is very costly and time consuming. They also contain special cleaners aggressive and harmful components that also pollute the environment.

The object of the present invention is to provide a cleaning agent which effectively removes a wide variety of impurities and which is also environmentally friendly. It is also an object of the present invention to provide a method for producing the cleaning agent according to the invention.

To achieve this object, the cleaning agent according to the invention contains citrus fruit extract and optionally (in a mixture) water and further components, for example from the group of surfactants and / or emulsifiers and / or thickeners and / or foam dampers. The cleaner according to the invention preferably contains extract from oranges.

Anspruch 8 erwiesen.The concentration of the citrus fruit extract and the selection of the other components are of particular importance for the effectiveness of the cleaner. The citrus fruit extract in the cleaning agent is advantageously at least 50% by weight. According to a feature of the invention, the cleaning agent contains emulsifiers and / or surfactants from the group consisting of fatty acid alkanolamides, fatty alcohol sulfates, cellulose ethers and glycerol stearates. Detergents in the composition according to claim 7 or claim 8 have proven to be particularly advantageous.

The advantages of the cleaner according to the invention can be seen above all in the fact that it is possible with this cleaner to remove a wide variety of known stubborn contaminants, such as graffiti, for example. Remove adhesive residue, resin, blood, egg, stamp ink, coffee stains, etc. with a single cleaning agent without attacking the surface. The cleaning agent is environmentally friendly because its components, especially the citrus fruit extract, are degradable. Surprisingly, it has even been shown that when the cleaning agent is disposed of by drains, it is cleaned. Such disposal is otherwise possible with the cleaning agent according to the invention without any problems because, in contrast to known cleaning agents, it does not contain any granular additives which could lead to a blockage of the drains.

Finally, the product according to the invention is simple to use.

The cleaning agent according to the invention is applied directly to the soiled areas and acts on the soiling, the exposure time being extended with the degree of soiling. Due to its content of terpenes and organic acids, the citrus fruit extract causes many impurities, particularly organic ones, to be soluble, which can then be removed in water with the aid of the surfactants and emulsifiers contained in the cleaner. The effect of the cleaner can be enhanced by additional mechanical treatment, such as brushing. However, it has surprisingly been found that mechanical treatment (brushing) is only required in a few cases. The residues of dirt and detergent are then rinsed off with clear water. They have disintegrated or are bound by the cleaning agent and are further biodegraded together with it. Here, terpenes of the citrus fruit extract act as alkylene oxides, ie double bonds have reacted with atmospheric oxygen.

The effective citrus fruit extract mainly contains terpenes, e.g. Lime. It also contains organic acids and esters. Since terpenes are water-insoluble as essential oils due to their chemical structure, they are combined in the cleaning agent according to the invention with emulsifiers and surfactants. These components serve as surface-active substances and at the same time as solubilizers for the contaminants to be removed. The cleaner according to the invention is particularly suitable for cleaning concrete, clinker or plastered surfaces. It is particularly suitable for removing paint smears on walls (so-called graffiti), since it penetrates even the finest pores. In order to be able to remove this graffiti from the walls, conventional cleaners must contain cleaning bodies (fine bodies) which, however, cannot penetrate into the finest pores, cracks or the like. Therefore, known cleaners can only partially remove graffiti, if at all.

The cleaning agent according to the invention can be used in various forms, e.g. as a liquid cleaning agent or as a cleaning paste.

Depending on the type of use, the cleaning agent contains additional components, for example methyl cellulose, which gives the agent a certain creaminess and can therefore also be used particularly well as a hand cleaning cream.

- Lösen des Emulgators in Wasser bei einer Temperatur von 70 - 75° C;
- Hinzufügen des Extrakts aus Citrusfrüchten zu der 70 - 75° C warmen Lösung des Emulgators unter Rühren;
Zweckmäßigerweise kommen noch die folgenden Verfahrensschritte hinzu:
-Abkühlen der Mischung auf Raumtemperatur;
- Einstellen der Viskosität der Mischung.
In procedural terms, the task is solved by a process that essentially consists of the following process steps:
- Dissolving the emulsifier in water at a temperature of 70 - 75 ° C;
- adding the citrus extract to the 70-75 ° C warm solution of the emulsifier while stirring;
The following procedural steps are expediently added:
Cooling the mixture to room temperature;
- Adjust the viscosity of the mixture.

After these steps, the cleaner according to the invention is in its basic form. If desired, a foam damper, preferably a silicone defoamer, can be added.

The viscosity is preferably adjusted with a 28% solution of sodium lauryl ether sulfate. But the use of water is also conceivable.

A foam damper is not required when producing a paste-like cleaner, such as a hand wash cream. After adjusting the viscosity, methyl cellulose is mixed in aqueous solution to form the pre-prepared mixture in order to form cream. The admixture takes place at room temperature. Subsequently oleic acid diethanolamide can be added as skin protection (preferably at a temperature of less than 26 ° C).
