Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a mechanical device which allows the self-supporting user to move in the horizontal and vertical planes for the execution of work at height.
- 1 / The user of a double ladder or a stepladder is forced after partial execution of his task to descend to the ground, to reposition his stepladder or ladder and to climb up the steps. This operation, which is repeated frequently, is an unnecessary waste of time and energy.
- 2 / The user's height positioning is approximate, namely ± 20 cms (height of one step), hence poor working conditions resulting in fatigue.
- 3 / The narrow width of the steps or bars gives rise to a "perched" position of the user which sometimes forces him to mobilize a hand to keep himself safe, hence his functional capacity for the work to be accomplished.
The lift trolley replaces stepladders and double ladders and provides a significant improvement in productivity since it eliminates downtime, improves comfort, safety and reduces user fatigue.
For example, a painter can finish the ceiling continuously since he can move at will at the right working height.
- 1 / A self-propelled carriage 1 with two
vertical slides 2. - 2 / A
lifting platform 3 on which the standing user takes place, provided with asafety nacelle 4 which supports in the upper part thecontrol panel 5. This platform goes up or down between the two slides.
The mobile carriage is a chassis fitted with four wheels, two of which are driven 6, driven by a shaft 7 (followed by a differential 8) on which is fixed a gear 9 coupled to the motor-reducer-
The
The latter can be fitted with a height-adjustable riser (above the user's head) fitted with free rollers mounted on shock absorbers, intended for raising plasterboard or other ceiling materials and for maintaining them for screwing.
It may also be fitted with sockets for supplying portable tools, supports or trays for the materials used.
It is obvious that the present invention is not limited to the embodiment described and shown which is only an example. We can consider a source of energy other than batteries, and the kinematic chains of the different movements can be designed differently.
This lift cart can find many uses in painting, electricity, ceiling installation, various maintenance, and more generally in all work at height monitoring.
